What to Expect in the Demo:

The demo contains the vital first 3 hours of core gameplay. You will:

  • Experience the Crash: Start right where your improbable survival story begins, surrounded by the wreckage on the plasma-soaked planet.

  • Meet Your AI: Re-establish communications with Bob, your sarcastic, yet critically necessary, AI companion.

  • Master Primitive Crafting: Learn to gather essential Wood, Stone, Rope etc., and craft basic survival tools like the Fire-Hardened Spear, Bone Axe etc..

  • Discover the Narrative: Uncover the initial pieces of the story, learning more about your mission and the hostile events that led to your unscheduled arrival.

  • Go In Alone (single-player only): This demo is built for a focused solo experience. While we know co-op is highly anticipated, this build will strictly be single-player so we can prioritize polish for the core mechanics. (Full cooperative features will be ready for early access release!)

Dear dystopian Taxi Drivers!

We have prepared a huge update after reading lots of feedback, especially your requests and suggestions, to make our dark-noir simulator better. We have just uploaded a gigantic patch to CyberTaxi: Lunatic Nights. You can check out the detailed changelist below.

PATCH NOTES - v. 0.9.35qx [Early Access]

The following fixes and changes were implemented:

  • Major - Updated to Unreal Engine 5.6.1 from 5.2.1. Lots of technical changes.
  • Major - New languages supported: Brazilian, Russian, Turkish. Totally updated: Chinese (Modern Common).
  • Major - Full-scale lighting update. Added dynamic shadows to all lights in the game.
  • Major - Entire driving model redesigned.
  • Major - New HUD implemented.
  • Major - Save games during first mission are now available.
  • Major - New subtitles system that scale properly with HUD's screen size.
  • Important - Fixed an issue that caused a decrease in dynagel cells every time the taxi engine was ignited.
  • Important - Added head shots to all enemies. Enemy health points reduced by 40% for every difficulty.
  • Important - Fixed lots of curbs in all areas that were causing the taxi to flip over.
  • New suspension settings for taxi.
  • New throttle and brakes parameters.
  • Traction control enabled in all wheels.
  • Better steering alignment inline with controls handling.

  • Fixed random weather issues.
  • Windshield rain displays properly in taxi FPP view when it gets rainy.
  • Pause menu buttons now hide and display properly.
  • New notifications and HUD icons on foot and in taxi for better overview of player stats.
  • Updated player stats information - Collectibles added. Collectible card status added.
  • Removed broken materials from Old China Town and updated windows in many buildings.
  • Adjusted scale of buildings in New China Town.
  • Removed wind from the clothes of NPCs (optimization).
  • Added better markers and arrow guide to the first mission.
  • Added possibility to fully skip taxi arrival in main menu.

  • Fixed many gameplay bugs with mission markers display issues.
  • Various navmesh fixes.
  • Dozens of texture, materials and mesh collision fixes.
  • Lots of minor fixes related to rendering and physics.
  • Radio music is now affected by Music Volume in settings.
  • Updated missing textures and materials around the city.
  • Fixed collision of curbs of Tenements' streets.
  • Modified or corrected the placement of various objects in the city.
  • Fixed loot interactions.
  • Fixed various quest item interactions.
  • Fixed sprinting and walking speed. Running is no longer possible if stamina value gets very low (proper walk state <-> run state switch implemented).
  • Many emissive materials fixed or changed.
  • Removed broken materials from tech walls and added newer ones.
  • Updated gaming controller plugin. Better support for older gaming controllers.
  • Fixed UI bug that displayed double HUD when entering taxi. Also, fixed an issue with 'Press button to Enter Taxi' notification, which is no longer displayed while player is already in the taxi.
  • Card collectibles required limit reduced from 52 to 26. Modified spawn points for cards during main missions. Now there is always a 100% chance to find a collectible card during missions.
  • Level loading times reduced by a few seconds.

Dear Lords and Ladies,

We will have an update at around 3:00 AM (GMT) on Nov 6th to fix a few bugs and make several improvements. The server maintenance will last for 3 hours or more. During the maintenance, you will be unable to enter game. We suggest all royal lords use a 4 Hrs or higher level Truce in advance. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will send compensation via mail after the maintenance.

Here are the contents of this update:

1. New Content
- Added Dragon Guard Skills. Lords can select a preferred Dragon to join battles in Weirwood Tree, Weirwood Memories, Rebel Leader, Elite Trials, Training Grounds, and Reward Hundred Battles Fortress. In these battles, Dragons will act with exclusive Guard Skills. More details are available on the Dragon Skills page.

2. Arena of Honor Improvements
- Improved matchmaking.
- Improved the calculation of personal points.
- Lowered the trigger requirement for Last Stand. The percentage by which a personal score is lower than the highest score in the match has been increased from 35% to 50%.

3. Alliance Features Improvements
- Added a To do list that shows Alliance events that are ongoing or upcoming.
- Added Alliance Voting. The Alliance Leader and Alliance Officials can initiate topic specific votes and pin the vote in Alliance chat.
- Added the Incentive Chest. Alliance members can earn Alliance Coins by completing Daily Active Quests and Reward quests. See in game for details.
- Pinning messages has been enabled in Alliance chat. This feature is available only to the Alliance Leader and Alliance Officials.
- Scheduled Activation has been added to Alliance Challenges. When the Alliance Leader or Alliance Officials click the Start Challenge button, an option will appear to schedule the activation. Each Alliance can choose an appropriate time to schedule the challenge start according to its needs.
- Added an All Members option in the recipient field for Alliance mail.
- Added rules descriptions related to Alliance features on Alliance pages.
- Improved the display of the Alliance Log.
- Improved several other Alliance related UI displays.

4. Other Improvements
- In War of the Kingdoms, added Spearwife Medal to point rewards, solo ranking rewards, and Alliance Ranking rewards, and increased the amount of diamonds obtained.
- Improved the pop up reminder that appears when the attributes that Lords wish to obtain appear while reforging a Commander weapon. When reforging a Commander weapon, if the attributes that a Lord wishes to obtain appear, the pop up must be confirmed before proceeding with the next Reforge.
- Improved reward claiming for Fishing Quests in the Fishing Event. When multiple quests are complete, tapping any Claim button will collect all available quest rewards at once.
- Day of Trade now includes a rules description that explains the relationship between refreshable rewards in carriages of each quality and your castle level.
- When gaining Recruitment Pass Reputation from Daily Active Quests, multiple reward pop ups are merged into a single pop up.
- Commander Honor Medals now include attribute descriptions for the related Greensight Commanders.
- Added automatic saving of the previous round lineup for combat events in Adventure activities.
- Improved multilingual texts display on certain pages.
- Improved the Weirwood Tree battle formation UI.
- Improved the information display on the Weirwood battle result screen.
- Improved the item description for the Universal Advisor Card.

5. Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue in Alliance Conquest where rallying a building could sometimes show an invalid parameter prompt.
- Fixed an issue where unlocking a new Commander could sometimes cause interface stutter.
- Fixed certain display and audio issues during Weirwood battles.

It’s finally here, Checkpoint Added in the Final Phase!

After reading your feedback and suggestions, I’ve added a checkpoint in the final phase of the game, designed to make that part a bit fairer without losing the tension of the moment.

Many of you have been asking for this feature for a while, and I wanted to find the right balance between maintaining the challenge and avoiding the need to restart the entire game from the beginning.

This update also includes performance and stability improvements, as well as groundwork for upcoming features.
