This update fixes some general stability issues to try and reduce various Crash To Desktop (CTD) cases seen in some reports. Many of the CTD issues has been fixed by updating your drivers, some has been fixed by identifying potential conflicting software, or by reducing graphics settings. I have two dedicated threads about this on the Steam forums, so if you experience various crashes, please check them out and reach out to me.
I also fixed an issue with the Lunar Module Yaw Pulse logic, made fixes to the splash down sound effect used and rolled out quite a few additional fixes to in-game text, missions and dictionaries.
As I have mentioned a few times, now that we are getting close to the release update (1.0.0), you will see an increase in number of smaller patches. The reason for this is that I wish to roll out fixes as fast as possible to ensure they all get additional testing by the Early Access adopters.
I want to specifically thank all of you who have been part of the Early Access part of the game, reporting issues, providing feedback, this helps improve the game for everyone.
Patch notes:
General core logic stability improvements
Received crash logs (CTD) where the Unity Image.CrossFadeAlpha function causes a CTD, so I removed all use of this and instead implemented my own function to handle this. This is used on the off-screen switch pointer and orbit view icons.
Fixed an issue with the LM Yaw Pulse logic
Water/Splash sound effect fixes
Mission fixes, typo corrections and dictionary updates
Fixes to the various virtual cockpit models
Minor improvements to the logic responsible for the cockpit interactable components such as switches, gauges, fuses, circuit breakers, etc.
We have now added the Steam Cloud Save system, allowing you to play on different devices while retaining your progress.
Due to previously collected feedback from players about progress loss issues caused by updates, all levels are now accessible. Levels are now categorized as either completed or not completed. To obtain collectible images, you only need to complete the final level of each map.

It’s finally launch day. Well, the day after launch day anyway. We had a small issue to fix yesterday, so that got in the way of this post. Sorry about that. (The Patch Notes for Version 1.0.6 covers that if you’re interested.)
This has been an interesting year for Baluster Games. We started out the year with a prototype of Ghostly Acres that felt quite different from the current incarnation. It took an entire re-write of our first game, Move Out Manor, for us to realize what we wanted out of Ghostly Acres. In the end, we settled on this clicky, incremental, and sort of puzzly management game with a cozy atmosphere.
Ghostly Acres is designed to be fairly short - it probably only takes about 2-3 hours to beat on your first try - but replayable. In particular, after you beat the game once, we challenge you to fine tune your hotel as well as ours. The Optimized Build and Speed Runner achievements embody that challenge.
A big thank you to our amazing playtesters and to HydroGene for his amazing music. Of course, a giant thanks to all of you for playing our game!
We’ll post something everyday this week to offer some behind the scenes commentary as well as tips and tricks to optimize your hotel.
Have fun playing,
Baluster Games
The playtest is now available on Steam from November 5th-14th

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for playing and supporting Another Day of My Life! 💖
We’ve received a lot of helpful feedback and made a few small improvements in this update:
1️⃣ Adjusted the background color of the girl’s secret box
Some players mentioned that the background color made the symbol interpretation confusing. We’ve unified and adjusted the colors for better clarity.
2️⃣ Reworked the father’s study computer password puzzle
We redesigned the screensaver hint and added extra hint text at the password input area to make the puzzle more intuitive.
We hope these small tweaks make your experience smoother and the puzzles more enjoyable!
If you have more feedback or ideas, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment — we truly appreciate every suggestion.
Thank you again for your support — your encouragement means the world to us! ❤️
We really hope everyone can enjoy our game!
