Hello everyone,

The Early Access version of BonfireSimulator launched on November 3rd (PST)!

We’re thrilled to finally invite players who love campfires and simulation games to experience our world.

BonfireSimulator began as a personal portfolio project about two years ago and has since evolved into a full indie game, refined with new content and direction.

Since much of the game was built by a single developer, we understand there may be areas that feel rough or need improvement—especially without a dedicated planner!

We’re currently gathering reports on bugs and various issues.

Please share your feedback through the Steam Community.

Early Access Version 1.0 Updates

  • Campfire Power Level cap increased to 7

The Deep Library - AgentParsec
Changes:

  • Added a new Entity, the Keeper (enters the library after collecting more than 450 total books).
  • Added current chamber number to pause menu
  • Added ability to highlight Chamber icons on Enter Library screen to see their Chamber number
  • Icons on the Collection screen and the Enter Library screen now show in red if there are returned books in the chamber
  • Added a new achievement, “Extra Large”
  • Fixed “Full Return” and “Taking the L” achievements not being awarded; also, modified “Taking the L” to no longer require a full inventory

Demo Update 2!

Hey everyone we are fixing the small things that seem to have cropped up that our testers missed. Thank you to those of you in the community who have helped relay those small pesky bugs. Lets get to the list and let you what we have fixed to ensure things are working as intended or cosmetic things!

The Fix List:
  1. No Longer able to spam the Quick Slot Keys during combat.

  2. Adjusted crafting level experience, you will no longer have to craft tons to get to level 2.

  3. Cosmetic update to the crafting menu.

  4. Adjusted and will Continually floating objects in the world.

  5. Selling items from your inventory to the merchant audio should now be consistent.

  6. Fixed missing names of Items.

  7. Fixed the Vale Quest and you should no longer be looking for pools of water that do not exist.

  8. Quest Menu Quest locations should now give give direction example. Temple Memorial North, South Vale etc.

  9. The poor prairie dog should no longer look like hes glitching in the matrix.

  10. Crafting Station Icon Text should no longer be writing on top of its self. This was a weird one.

  11. Elder Olivia should be happy her name is correct again in her quest.

  12. Elevator puzzle should now have the correct symbol to match to start the elevator.

  13. Rehoca should now have blue tribal markings. Not yellow.

  14. Rabbits should no longer be doing marital arts every where.

  15. The wild boar has has a combat adjustment, we hope hes no longer a push over.

  16. Alise quest a saw dusting should no longer give you 20 tokens for the kill quest but 500 instead. After all shes asking you a lot and not paying you enough to exterminate.

You can now toggle fullscreen on the title screen by pressing the "F" key on keyboard, the "Y" button on Xbox controllers, or the "△" button on DualSense controllers. (This was implemented to help improve the issue where the screen becomes dark for some users after launching the game.)
