Raven's Carnage - LaxBMC

Hi, Raven's Carnage fans!

In the past week, Raven's Carnage hasn’t received any updates, and I’m here to apologize for that, as well as to give you a quick report on how the game’s development is going.

First of all, I’m really sorry, but I’ll have to slow down the update frequency for now. There are a lot of things happening outside of development, and although I truly enjoy working on this game, I also feel it’s time for me to take a short break. Life hasn’t been very easy lately, and I’ve been struggling to deal with some personal things. I feel like I need to slow down a bit and focus on other aspects of life—like spending more time with my family.

It’s been more than two years since I started building Raven’s Carnage from the ground up, and I’m really proud of what it’s becoming. I truly hope to see it finished one day (and it will be). Developing this game has often been an escape for me, so it’s something deeply personal.

I’m not pausing development—updates will still come—but for now, the pace will be considerably slower. Stay tuned, because there are still great things on the way.

I’d like to thank Syagrius—your support and precise feedback have been incredibly important, and I truly feel they’re helping the game grow in the right direction. I really appreciate it, and I’m working to fix all the current issues in the game.

I’d also like to thank my girlfriend Sofia, who, through all these years, has been supporting and inspiring me through this crazy idea. Much of the inspiration I bring to Raven’s Carnage comes from her and from the good feelings I have when I’m with her. This is a very special thank-you—she probably doesn’t realize how much she has been (and still is) a part of this game’s creation and development.

That being said, I’m really happy with how Raven’s Carnage is evolving, and I hope it becomes a great game one day. You guys rock! We’ll be back to our usual update rhythm soon.

Dream Team Supreme - Big Adventure_Olivier

Hello, fellow, scientists!!!

Sami and Tom just came back from PAX AUS and it was a blast. The whole atmosphere is electric! Over the 3 days of the expo, we had so many people come by and play Dream Team Supreme in co-op. The 2 computers made it so much better than last year. Whether a group of friends, couples, or parents with their children, all had a great time suiting up as a scientist and playing together. The game really shines when you talk through your ideas and make a plan together!

Our next playtest is just around the corner, we'll be making the game available from November 6th to 10th. There are so many updates since the last public build so here are a few of the highlights:

  • Super Supreme is in toy style

  • The encounter screen, cartridges, and mods are all in toy style

  • You can invite or join friends via Steam's friends list

  • The tutorial is more effective and runs in co-op if any player hasn't done it yet

  • A lot of information clarified in the encounter screen

  • You can change the resolution speed!!!

If you signed up for the playtest emails, you'll get one on the 6th informing you the build is ready to download. Otherwise, just join us in Discord and tell us you're here for the playtest. We'll make sure you get what you need from there.

We've put together a simple inventory system in order to track which objects each character is holding onto! It'll keep track between mind swaps and you'll be able to see it next to your pager. You can hold up to three items at once per character you control. You can drop items wherever you're standing at any time and pick them up with a different character. This should help you as you explore and navigate the facility and allows for a bit more creativity in accomplishing various tasks.

We've also prepared a save system that will allow you to put the game away and come back later. Not exactly revolutionary, I know. But it'll be nice be able to pick up where you left off! Still a roguelite too. No save spamming. Only one save file allowed.

The game will be released on November 16, 2025, Pacific Time (which is November 17th in Japan Standard Time). Your comments on social media and the Steam Community during development have been a huge source of strength for the staff. We believe we've packed a lot of care and dedication into the game to make up for the wait.

Furthermore, we are releasing a new demo starting today!

The save data from this new demo can be carried over to the full version of the game.

The key differences from the previous demo are as follows:

  • An additional song is available to listen to during the scenario.

  • Three new sound effects (SE) have been added.

  • The playable time has been doubled to 5 hours.

  • Backgrounds will now be unlocked just like in the full version.

  • Save data can be carried over to the full version.

  • Numerous other small corrections and improvements.
