





Redesigned Save Slots With Images, Character Level, and Time Played
Bug Fixes and Improvements
With the last major update of the Early Access phase, Qume: Echoes of Sand is now one step closer to its full release.
This update brings new systems, enemies, optimizations, and additions that add greater depth to the gameplay.
Jetpack added! Take off with Space and dash short distances with Shift.
Fuel is limited for long flights, but overall mobility has greatly improved.
Jetpack crafting and materials can now be found across the world.
New enemy camps and faction conflicts — certain AI groups now fight each other, making the world feel more dynamic.
New Bosses:
Juggernaut: Armored and highly durable; hard to kill.
Blastborn: Uses gas, smoke, and flash grenades.
Dustfang: A lone sniper that can spawn in camps or on hills — more dangerous and powerful than standard snipers.
Loot and interactive corpses — you can now loot enemies, bosses, and even creatures like scorpions (which are edible).
New surface loot — added half-buried scrap vehicles, boxes, and lootable objects that don’t require digging.
Crafting, Printing, and Shred menus redesigned — selected items are now clearly highlighted, and locked content or item levels are easier to identify.
Hallucination system added — hallucinations appear and fade as hunger or thirst increases.
Survived Days counter and Global Leaderboard activated.
Survival Assessment — evaluates your overall performance.
Starting character traits can now be selected, granting either backpack or weapon gear at the start.
Weapon/Van showcase menu added — designed to build an emotional connection between the player and their current equipment.
Quest system (after Tutorial) — once you complete the tutorial, the game starts with a few short missions that act as the foundation of the story system.
Camp assault training (example: a small camp behind a large rock) — not mandatory; skip if you lack ammo.
Fuel refilling training (vehicle’s left side — don’t forget to close the door).
Trader introduction added.
Tutorial is now optional — includes a “Do you want to play it?” choice.
Added "Bug Sender" button to the ESC menu — report recent issues easily.
Improved screen shake and weapon recoil effects.
Reworked difficulty settings and added several improvements.
Temporarily removed ultrawide support.
Added FallRecovery system (temporary fix for falling out of the world).
Craft item pinning added.
Fixed loot refresh issue when dropping looted items.
Fixed bug allowing items in locked inventory slots.
Improved Eye text readability.
Fixed bug when opening inventory while filling water.
Fixed armor texture issue.
Fixed time/day counter.
Camp indicators now only show active camps; disappear once all enemies are cleared.
Temporarily disabled arm dismember escape animation due to conflicts.
Removed “Early Access” label.
“Data will be deleted” warning now only appears if a save file exists.
This update represents the final major step before full release.
Thanks to your feedback, Qume has evolved into a richer, more dangerous, and atmospheric world.
This may be the last major content update before launch — next comes the full release announcement and story-driven content expansions.

交互体验初步优化
我们将同步优化部分移动与交互逻辑,让操作更为流畅。
此外,11月版本只是本次优化的 第一阶段。在接下来的 春节版本 中,我们不仅将推出 完全优化、更加智能的战斗AI,还将 重做全部交互与地图地貌,彻底提升整体体验!

针对近期各位道友遇到的一些闪退,崩溃,游戏进不去等问题,有以下可能的解决方案,请大家可以先自查一下。另外,一些修改器的使用也有可能导致卡死,还请道友注意一下。如果仍然无法解决可以进 bug 反馈群 1048937185 与我们交流。
这个可能是Steam的云存档服务器波动引起的,可以尝试开启/关闭加速器。或可能进入游戏了。
方法一:确保游戏安装盘和虚拟内存盘在同一个盘符下。比如游戏是安装在C盘的,并且虚拟内存盘也是C盘。
方法二:官方网站更新显卡驱动到最新,然后检查虚拟内存设置
如下图操作,右键点击“此电脑” → 选择“属性”,点击左侧“高级系统设置”
在“系统属性”窗口中,点击“高级”标签页,点击“性能”区域的【设置】按钮
在“性能选项”窗口中,点击“高级”标签页,找到“虚拟内存”区域,点击【更改】
取消“自动管理所有驱动器的分页文件大小”的勾选,确保没有设置为“无分页文件”,选择你想设置的驱动器(选择一个大一点的磁盘),点击“设置”,然后“确定”,重启电脑以使设置生效。
方法一:升级显卡驱动到最新版本
方法二:如果有双显卡,需要确保切换到独立显卡
如果是游戏一启动就崩溃,或者是启动后几分钟就崩溃的问题,有以下可能的解决方案。
右键点击客户端内的游戏,点击【属性】,如下图找到【已安装文件】,点击【验证游戏文件的完整性】
在Steam客户端中,点击左上角的【Steam】,在下拉菜单中选中【设置】
如下图显示位置找到【下载】标签,关闭【启用着色器预缓存】

-Buying items will now play a proper animation and leave a "SOLD" card in their place

-Added a special animation sequence for using the shop's random item option (with additional special effects if you roll a rare or a legendary!)

-Damage numbers have been adjusted so that they properly get bumped up in size for different damage values, and can now get really big for huge hits!
-Bosses will now emit an "Enraged!" text upon becoming enraged, and their health bar has a new animation while enraged
-📡 You can now hover over status effect icons to get a tooltip with info about that effect!
-Your health capsules will now tremble in fear when you're at critical health (with no armor)
-The minimap now has a flashing animation over the train tracks when there is an incoming train
-Added new particles over your health capsules while you have a healboost cream ready
-Added new setting that allows you to consolidate your damage numbers, so dealing a lot of different damage instances in a short time can now be added together into a big number.

Fixed an issue where the Experimental Microrockets would sometimes perform a wide turn when their homing behavior activated
Fixed issue where engineer armor gain icons would be active/inactive at incorrect times (references were flip flopped)
Fixed issue where Voltage Regulator aura SFX would continue if restarting the game while the aura was active.
Fixed issue where purchasing a sentry or drone affected by the Helpful Transmitter would still charge the player full price
Fixed error when scrapping or trading the Experimental Micro Rockets

Fixed issue where the E-40 Prototype Rounds were only firing from one of a sentry’s barrels (if it had more than one)

Fixed an issue where the Supply Signal's duration meter was not showing after your first transformation each scene
Fixed an issue where Forge Hammer upgrade costs were not properly updating
