- Fixed a bug where the first-person camera would automatically switch back to third-person during certain actions. The camera will no longer switch to third-person during the following actions: taking damage, using a first aid kit and adrenaline, fast kills, picking up items, swinging weapon, reloading, throwing grenades.
When aiming and shooting, the camera will automatically switch to third-person, as this is how the gameplay was originally intended.
- Fixed a bug that caused some subtitles to be too small.

You may have seen a bunch of updates the last few days, this is because when someone reports a bug , I tend to patch in a solution that can be tested right away.
I did today upload a build that was less performant, so that also got patched out earlier tonight with a build that should be a little bit more performant, especially if you go to high shadows instead of ultra.
bugfix for the dreadnot mission that refocuses if you lose the item
attempted some performance improvements for steamdeck
added a 85% downsample option to AA, this basically allows steamdeck users to have a lower gameplay resolution but keep the UI readable at native resolution.
added a few fishing boats and fish
upgraded the nodbomb cutscene
improved cloud performance, better spread
added window mode settings
reduced the ridiculous aim assist values for easy mode
reduced the shadow quality in high to accommodate steamdeck better
New weapon: Flail
Heavy and hard to master (accuracy/parry penalty for the wielder) and nastier to defend against (harder to parry/block).

Crowd may throw you a weapon
If your weapon breaks, the crowd can toss a crude replacement — if they like you. Build that popularity!

Next boss will drop a unique bow. 🏹
Every horde has them: Cannon Fodder Enemies.
In Games like Left4Dead, they are the simple zombies, in Deep Rock Galactic its the Glyphid Grunt and in Space Marine 2 its the Terminid Hormagaunt.
In Earths Edges first faction, the Lunomites, its the simple Lunom Grunt.
You'll be facing off against these grunts as you explore the Edge of this world. Easy to spot:
Low health
Almost never encountered alone
Highly aggressive and fire sensitive

As some of you might now, we wanted to make a Mech FPS / Horde Shooter hybrid. That obviously means creating some swarm enemies that will keep you on your toes during the missions!
Lunom Grunts are exceptionally harmless on their own, but have their strength in numbers. If you get surrounded, you might be in a bit of trouble.
If you are keen on using shotguns, LMGs or incendiary grenades, you'll have an easy time against those.

[c]It feels like a simple touch of the ore could infect them with something alive. Their skin cracked, and light seeped from within. Within mere days, crystalline structures began to grow from their flesh and bones, bursting outward as if the Lunom itself was trying to break free.[/c]
[c]They called them Lunomites. Mutated creatures that somehow retained a human resemblance. Lunom controlled them, pulsating within their new host, learning and remembering as they controlled their new body. People claim to have witnessed that the ore held memories and thoughts of an unknowable past and creatures.[/c]

Achievements & Localization

This is a small update focused on fixing achievements and improving game translations.
Here’s what’s new for you:
🏆 Achievements
The achievements “Spreading the Gospel”, “Use Bonus Time 10x”, and “Use 3x Stars Bonus 10x” now work correctly.
Players who already met the requirements can unlock them normally after playing again.
Unlock conditions were adjusted to register progress accurately.
No progress was lost — the system now recognizes your actions more reliably.
🌍 Localization
All achievement texts were reviewed and corrected in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.
Titles and descriptions now display correctly without confusion between achievements.
Minor translation improvements to make the text sound more natural in each language.
