Happy Halloween! The sun is getting low, and soon little monsters will roam the streets, looking to pilfer as much candy as they can.
Speaking of little monsters...

What's this? A strange shadow creature? Shades are playful little spirits with not much in the way of brains, but they're cute and friendly enough that we're sure you'll be fine caring for one. Time in the garden passes in real time, so pop in on occasion and feed it a bean or two if you can. They're pretty hardy, so no worries if they need to fend for themselves for a bit. Though, if you do raise it carefully, it might be able to help you out with some things in the near future...
Check it out from the new Garden button in the Mode Select menu.

Here's our trick for Halloween - it's all Cookie Jar levels this time around! There's 5 additional slightly spookier-than-usual waiting for you in the Pumpkin Pail. Plus, the amount of Dough earned for your score has been bumped up significantly, as a treat.
3 new Hats and 3 new Hairstyles have been added.
Certain animations now have procedural physics effects. Don't shake your Shade too hard, please.
Hats and Hairstyles that have not been unlocked yet have a slightly higher chance of being pulled.
Several menus have received just a little bit more polish in some areas.
Performance and Loading time improvements. You know, the usual.
Internal stuff to make mods more stable and flexible. Not enough to bring it out of Beta, of course, but we're getting there.
And that concludes tonight's meeting. Happy Hauntings everyone.
Hello Bosses,
After 3.5 years of development, we’re finally bringing The Boss Gangsters: Nightlife to you in Early Access!
As a small but passionate team, we’ve worked hard to make the impossible possible — combining many deep mechanics into one seamless experience.
Even though the current version already offers hours of fun, we’d say it only represents 30–40% of what we truly want to achieve.
We’re well aware that Early Access has often been misused over the years, with many projects ending before reaching their full potential.
But for BEF Games, this project is a labor of love.
With your support, we aim to expand our family, improve what feels incomplete, and add new features based on your feedback.
That’s why we wanted to share our plans for the future with you.
Ability to change walls and floors in the club decoration menu
Map update (already ready, just needs to be applied)
Camera movement improvements
Economic balancing adjustments
Police and crime system refinements
And many small updates and quality-of-life improvements coming very soon
More detailed attack mechanics (e.g., defending captured rackets)
More furniture and decoration items
New club types
New missions and enemies
Sandbox-style free mode
New character models and vehicles
Usable sea areas
Additional illegal activities (such as human trafficking, production, etc.)
And many more ideas we’re eager to bring to life!
Finally, before the full release, we plan to add a multiplayer co-op mode as well.
Your thoughts mean everything to us.
The Boss Gangsters: Nightlife is on its way to becoming a truly unique game in its genre, and it will only get better with your help.
Please share your feedback, suggestions, and ideas with us through Discord or the Steam Community.
Greetings to all the Bosses!Tthe nights are waiting for you! 🌃

A quick post to let you know I'm still working hard on Episode Five. There are about 2,650 renders completed and I am currently working through Jamie's exclusive path. I still have quite a lot of work to do and I will not be finished before the end of the year.
Thank you for your patience! In the meantime, you can check out my latest public renders here:

Hello everyone, and Happy Halloween!
We've been working in the shadows to bring you a very special treat for the spookiest day of the year. The next major update for the Cameraman demo is live right now!
This isn't just a patch; it's a massive overhaul that introduces the true horror we've been dying to unleash. We've taken your feedback, rebuilt broken systems from the ground up, and added the threats that were missing.
Here's what's waiting for you in the dark:
The core horror mechanics are now live. We'll let you discover the specifics for yourself, but here’s a taste of what to expect.
Your VHS tape timer is your life. If it reaches the end, you are no longer the one doing the hunting.
The Horror Stages: The atmosphere will now change as you progress. It starts subtly... A light flickering, the ticking of a nearby clock growing louder. Then, things may start to look... wrong. Objects might change when you're not looking.
The Hunt: When you reach the final stage, the real nightmare begins. The lights go out, things around you begin to change in otherworldly ways, and the entity will hunt you.
The Entity: You are being watched. This new threat can never be seen moving and can follow you on all surfaces. When you're in the horror stage, looking at it will cause your screen to "glitch," and with each glitch... it moves closer and closer.
The Clocks: Your only defense. Find and use wall clocks to rewind your VHS tape timer. But be warned: these clocks are fragile. They will eventually break and shatter. When you're in a pinch, you may find "backup" clocks (like a small desk clock) that can ward off the entity for just a few precious seconds.
This update is packed with new content and crucial fixes based on your feedback.
[c]Renewed & Expanded Levels:[/c][c] We've added new areas to explore that are more atmospheric, weird, and interesting.[/c]
[c]New Lighting System:[/c][c] The lighting and its functions have been completely reworked to accommodate the new horror mechanics, making for an overall scarier experience.[/c]
[c]Many, Many Bug Fixes:[/c][c] We've squashed the biggest complaints! This includes fixes or the strange movement behavior with gravity and the movement slowdown on lower-end systems.[/c]
[c]Improved Mechanics: More gameplay systems and threats have been added.[/c]
This is a massive step forward for the game and brings it so much closer to our final vision. Thank you all for your support and detailed feedback.
Have a terrifying Halloween, and good luck. You'll need it.
