Hello, everyone! I don't know you, but autumn is my favorite season. With Halloween approaching, development has turned toward all things creepy and unsettling... No, I'm not talking about you, Jeff.

I don't know you, but Spooktober means wandering through a creepy sewer to me.
Here's a little compilation of moments from STENCH.

What's new
THE SEWER

This new location isn't very romantic... Or is it? Change water levels to progress, face faceless monsters and meet a mysterious ally. There must be a way out!

JOE FRITTER

Now, who's this guy? Owner of a perfectly average nightclub. Also, totally unrelated, leader of a criminal organization trying to control the City. But who knows, maybe he's hiding a good heart under that $3000 suit.

GIOSY FRITTER

Despite being Joe's daughter, she has nothing in common with her father (fortunately). She's good hearted, innocent, kind of naive, and loves dancing! Too bad, no one loves HER dancing. Let's say there's room for improvement.

GRAPHICAL REVAMPING
  • The lighting system is overhauled: Additive lights, better shadows, better day/night cycle.

  • Over 200 sprites have been redrawn, including characters, portraits, vehicles and menus.

  • Camera movement and zoom have been polished.

CONTROLLER SUPPORT

I'm proud to announce STENCH completely supports almost every gamepad around!

Hey Ballers,

October is the spooky season, and with it comes the Haunted House Machine!

All Updates:
  • Created Haunted House Machine
  • More Pinballs (total 55)
  • Added Difficulty Slider to Incremental Mode
  • Scores now pop up as components are hit
  • Added Trails to some of the pinballs
  • Reduced the amount of times some components are scored when hit
  • Added a label to the pinball picker
  • Added a scrolling carousel style animation to the machine selection
  • General UI updates
  • Added a loading screen
  • Added input mapping in the controls menu

This is a huge update for me, as it's the 10th machine, and I've implemented a lot of requested features. Hopefully you all enjoy!

Planetary Life - sotenbox
This took me quite a while, so for a week I stopped working on the civilizations to focus on optimizing the biggest bottleneck in the game. I think it's something that will benefit everyone. Enjoy!

Changes
  • Huge performance improvement in rendering. The game should run better in all range of computers. This makes big planets more playable.
  • Added simulation and rendering performance bars in the top left of the screen.
  • Hide the current system's star when it visually crosses between the current planet and the player's camera.
Bug fixes
  • Fixed creature dots not showing when the are is ice.

This update introduces a new mouse control option for players who have difficulty using the keyboard.

While it doesn’t provide the full gameplay experience yet, it should make the game more accessible and allow players who can’t use the keyboard to enjoy and explore the game.

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! And happy update day! All Hallows' Eve part 2 is finally here, finishing off this huge update season with a bang. Initially, All Hallows' Eve was just going to be comprised of part 1, but when I realised Halloween was exactly a week after the release date of that. I knew I had to expand my scope to celebrate the spooky holiday! It's been a very busy week but I hope it's worth it, there's a whole heap of new, major content in this update that should hopefully boost the replayability for returning players.

Anyways, here's the trailer:

Patch notes

  • Added Nightmare mode, a brand new mode with increased difficulty, and increased surprises

    • Nightmare mode is unlocked after achieving atleast two unique endings (It should be retroactivelyunlocked for players who have already done that).

    • Nightmare mode features a raised reputation cap to 75

    • Overall reputation benefits are reduced, however, due to the increased cap, you can still potentially recieve more benefits if you're playing well

    • Various shop prices are increased

    • Random events are more likely to happen

    • Certain major events can happen multiple times per playthrough and are harder

    • The shop starts already at tier 2, but customer orders start at a much higher level as well

    • You start the game with £100

  • Added the Nightmare major event

    • This event will only occur during Nightmare mode

    • It gives the largest amount of Soul Points for completion

  • Added a brand new ending

    • This ending can only be unlocked through Nightmare mode

    • To unlock it, you must earn even more Soul Points and reputation than required for the Acceptance ending

    • Good luck!

  • Added farm decorations

    • These are unlocked through certain feats, and can be equipped in the Unlocks menu

    • Each one gives the farm a unique appearance, with new models, textures, and lighting

    • The requirements to unlock each decoration are listed in the unlocks menu

  • Added new achievements

    • Added 10 new achievements, including an 'All Hallows' Eve' completionist achievement

    • The 'Thanks for visiting' completionist achievement has been adjusted, so it only tracks base game achievements

    • All Hallows' Eve achievements can be distinguished by a large border around their icons

  • Buffed robots

    • Robots will now inherit the stats of your scythe when harvesting

    • Default robot movement speed has been increased, as well as every upgrade to movement speed

    • All robot upgrades are much cheaper

  • Changed plant hitboxes

    • Hitboxes for plants and garden plots have been adjusted to make planting much easier

    • Plants no longer block garden plots

    • Garden plots have bigger hitboxes

  • Brand new music

    • Brand new tracks have been added for Nightmare mode exclusive events

    • Brand new day track 'All Hallows' Eve' has been added to the random rotation

A location has been added with a billboard at the entrance of the industrial area, as the map had a logic flaw preventing bots from reaching the Anazom vending machine in the industrial zone. Update the Steam client to avoid a scene bug (white noise display).

Throne Alone - Phase Vault
Hey everyone!

Here are the short patch notes for version 1.2 of Throne Alone!

After gathering some valuable feedback, I decided to buff the checkpoints to a maximum. They now have no respawn limit. Whatever checkpoint you manage to capture will be the one you will be always respawning at.

In addition, I've been adding two more achievements and made minor corrections to the UI.
