Hello everyone!

It’s been about a month since our Alpha Playtest ended.
During that time, we made major improvements to game stability and the overall experience — all thanks to your participation and feedback. We truly appreciate it!

While reviewing the feedback from the test, our team has been pushing forward with development.
Many exciting updates are on the way, which we’ll share in future Devlogs.

Today, we’d like to talk about Multilingual Support.
Since the Alpha only supported English and Korean, we understand that many players found it difficult to play due to language barriers.

Our goal is to make Dungeon Settlers a game that players around the world can enjoy, regardless of language.
It’s certainly not easy for a small team like ours, but with your help and participation, we believe we can make the experience accessible to more players.

🔧 How the Community Translation Works

1️⃣ The development team translates the game into multiple languages.
2️⃣ The community can report mistranslations or suggest improvements.

This approach may not be perfect, but we believe it’s the most practical way to share Dungeon Settlers with more players given our current development resources.

Accordingly, we are reopening the Playtest for everyone.
(⚠️ Please note: as we are currently focusing on new feature development, only translation-related improvements will be reflected, and there will be no content updates to the test version for the time being.)

Q1: Which languages are supported?
A1: The following languages are now supported through this process:

  • English

  • French

  • German

  • Russian

  • Japanese

  • Simplified Chinese

  • Traditional Chinese

  • Korean

Q2: When does this process start?
A2: As of this announcement, a new build has been updated on Steam Playtest
that allows you to play in all the above languages.
If you couldn’t play before due to language limitations, you can now give it a try —
and if you’d like to contribute to translation improvements, you can start right away!

Q3: Will more languages be supported later?
A3: We’re aware that some players wish for additional languages.
However, adding font and localization support requires development resources,
so it’s not realistic to support all languages at once.
We plan to gradually expand based on community interest and our team’s capacity.

1.Originality: All submitted works must be original. If copyright infringement occurs due to unauthorized use of others’ assets, the author will bear full responsibility. The organizer reserves the right to remove and disqualify such entries.

2.Submission Requirements:

  • Ensure your map loads and functions correctly.

  • Titles and descriptions must be clear and easy to identify.

  • No spamming reviews or duplicate uploads.

  • All submissions must be positive and appropriate. Content containing political, pornographic, violent, religious extremist, discriminatory, or abusive elements is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in disqualification and removal.

3.Display & Usage Rights:

  • By participating, you grant permission for the Alchemage team to feature, promote, or recommend your work (including images or videos) on official channels, with your creator name credited.

  • If your creation is considered for official collaboration or derivative works, we will contact you for permission first.

4.Evaluation & Reward Distribution: Winners will be determined based on subscription counts at the end of the event. The results will be announced within 7 working days, and Steam Gift Card prizes will be distributed accordingly.
