Greetings Lunar Knights!
A new patch has come for the Bloodmoon Survivors Demo. I've addressed a couple of bug fixes and improved the UI to (gently) remind players to use all their abilities.
We are trying to finish the final level of the game so updates will be light on demo content for the next few patches.
I've seen a couple of players having issues with swapping weapons after the previous patch along with using various other buttons.
I believe this is an issue with resetting key bindings. If you go to Options > Gameplay > Key Bindings, and click "Reset" the keys will reset and you are free to remap them as you see fit.
Fixed a bug where the dual wield bar sometimes gets set to a state where they are both charged, but the bar does not fuse into one large bar.
I added a UI overhead icon to remind the player they can dual wield by holding right-click or the appropriately mapped key.
I added a UI overhead icon to remind players that they can pull all resources on the map by doing a perfect weapon swap while dual wielding
The Deathplane demo has been updated to version 0.1.0. This update is mainly intended to address some concerns and suggestions based on player feedback from Steam Next Fest. A huge thank you goes out from me to everyone who had played and is playing the demo.
Added checkpoints
Checkpoints are represented as a cracked blue block in-game
Checkpoints will do a short autosave of your current level progress and save it in the file “checkp1.sav” under %LocalAppData%/dplane__active_
Deathplane position, player position and whether you have a key is saved
Checkpoints persist throughout sessions but will not be automatically loaded when you enter the level
Checkpoints only load once you die
Loading a checkpoint will not reset the level to its initial state
Checkpoint files can be deleted from the main menu by deleting your save file
You can only have one checkpoint at once; entering a new level and touching a checkpoint will erase your last one
Checkpoints will remain active as long as you touch them unless a deathplane is touching them
You can disable checkpoints from the settings menu
The game will slow down when touching a checkpoint; this will be addressed in the next patch
You can no longer “kill” flags by touching them with a deathplane
This caused many issues, the biggest one being that when you kill a flag, the level restarts, essentially creating a point from which you can no longer move the deathplane.
Level 1-2 now has a floor beneath the flag
Fixed the green coins making a sound even when sound effects are off
You can now return to the Main Hub directly from the tutorial instead of only from the menu
Other miscellaneous changes and improvements
Hey everyone!
Hope you've all been enjoying a good trim! As we all know, we can't just be trimmin' on the screen all the time. We gotta get that gardening in outside as well, but going out dry can be challenging. We've got just what you need right here. Tunes to trim to. Load 'em up on your MP3 player, slap those headphones on, grab your trimmer and trim that sorry lawn like there was no tomorrow.
The full and extended Trimjob OST has come to Steam! It features all the tunes from the game, many of which have been extended with new arrangements and variations not heard in the game! It includes MP3's as well as high quality WAV's. All 16 tunes for the low, low price of $1!
Have a great trim!

The Demo is about 35-50 minutes of gameplay depending on your play style and it has interesting puzzles and also high intense situations which you have to manage. But I'm sure you will succeed ;-)
