	Hey everyone,
Just wanted to take a moment to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s been playin’ the Far Far West Open Playtest so far. Seeing so many of you jump in and cause absolute chaos has been incredible to watch.
We actually hit a peak of 2424 concurrent players last night, which is honestly wild to us. When we started working on this weird little cowboy game, we never imagined we’d see so many of you playing together so soon. You’ve made our dusty dev hearts real happy <3
To celebrate (because it’s the season), we’ve just pushed a Halloween update to the playtest build!

play on normal+ difficulty and you might see a Halloween modifier on the Far West map
Complete at least 3 Halloween events to unlock the Pumpkin SPOOOOOOKY Skin

update the game!
There’s still time to play solo or with friends, and help us test (or just blow things up for fun).
If you haven’t already, come hang out with us over on the FFW Discord - it’s where we share updates, gather feedback, and chat with you all more directly about the game.

Thanks again for playing, for the feedback, and for helping us make Far Far West into something special.
See y’all out there!

Here are the patch notes for Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition:

For the last few months, we’ve been going through the mountains of feedback you guys have given us since release. We’ve been seeing what we can do to improve on frequently highlighted points of frustration; what we can do to add in features you felt were missing for the game to feel complete. And today, we’re happy to release the culmination of that work, with this Enhanced Edition update for Echoes of the End.
The full patch notes will be linked below, but some highlights include:
A brand new equipment system that lets you mix and match cosmetic outfits with relics that modify your stats and abilities.
A combat overhaul that takes the changes already made in our first combat update and pushes them even further.
A complete rework of Ryn’s core animation set, designed to tackle the feeling of “floatiness” and detachment from the world.
A redesign of the game’s first chapter and tutorial experience, designed to get you into the flow of the story quicker.
A reduction in menial interactions.
New Game+
And so much more.
Alternatively, you can check out the video here for a deeper dive into everything the Enhanced Edition has to offer.
We want to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who played the game and took a moment to leave us your thoughts and feedback. Your support has been invaluable in helping us make Echoes of the End the best it can be, and we want you to know that we will continue listening as we move forward.
Whether you’re returning to Aema or stepping into it for the first time, we hope you enjoy the Enhanced Edition as much as we’ve enjoyed creating it.

This soundtrack is enabled by default when playing Shovel Knight.
It can be selected for other characters in single-player via the 'Change Soundtrack' menu.
Because these songs loop infinitely and have a higher BPM than other soundtracks, using this soundtrack on other characters submits to the "Custom Music" leaderboards.
Achievements can still be unlocked while playing with the Shovel Knight soundtrack.
Added a 'Character Restrictions' menu, allowing the host to lock certain characters for everyone in online lobbies
This menu can be found in Customize > Custom Rules > Gameplay Options > Character Restrictions
Cross-play lobbies will support this feature at a future date
Added a gameplay option 'Show dropped items immediately'
This makes newly dropped items visible without needing to step off to another tile first
Requires 'Show advanced settings' to be enabled in 'Misc options'
Changed Automatic Spike Traps to behave more consistently in multiplayer
Each player now sees a consistent view of Automatic Spike Traps based on their own rhythm
Automatic Spike Traps no longer go out of sync when approached by players with different rhythms
Changed Cracked Floors to be more visible and use a unique sprite for each zone
Added support for specifying the start of looping sections in beatmap files
Appending [c]L[/c] at the end of a line within the beatmap file loops the track from that beat instead of the start
Added module [c]necro.render.filter.TransformFilter[/c]
This allows any sprite to be resampled using a 2D affine transformation while preserving outlines
This is mainly intended for downscaling sprites to generate miniature in-world attachments, and may not preserve stray pixels (e.g. weapon sparkles)
To prevent pixels from being detected as "outlines" by this filter, adjust the R/G/B components of at least 25% of transparency-adjacent pixels by 1
Added event [c]objectUpdateRowOrder[/c], allowing object Z-order to be changed dynamically
Added event [c]objectDescentCheck[/c], allowing exit stairs and trapdoors to be suppressed without side effects
Added event [c]assetCollect[/c] for registering assets in the "Add files..." menu for resource packs
Added parameters [c]showFlash[/c] and [c]showQuantity[/c] to [c]event.inventoryHUDRenderSlot[/c]
Added component [c]spriteDynamicRowOrder[/c], enabling the use of [c]event.objectUpdateRowOrder[/c]
Added component [c]spriteTilesetTexture[/c] for changing a sprite's texture based on the tileset
Added component [c]itemCastOnKill[/c], which automatically casts a spell when its holder is credited for a kill
Added component [c]voiceRunStart[/c] for playing a voice line when starting a run for the first time
Added component [c]CharacterSkins_skinTemplate[/c] for specifying custom skin templates on modded characters
Added component [c]characterWithExtraAttachment[/c] to add a secondary attachment to character entities
Added component [c]characterEquipmentSpriteRowExtendedHead[/c] to give each armor its own unique head sprite
Added field [c]musicAllowAlternateRhythm.artist[/c] to restrict alternate rhythm to specific soundtracks

Changed function [c]VertexBuffer.write()[/c] to append new vertices when writing past the end of the vertex buffer
Changed power settings menu (Shift+F8, Shift+F9) to remember its filter query when closing/reopening the menu
