All main story content has now been fully implemented.
Development of the composing, busking, and chase mini-games has been completed.
We successfully participated in Steam Next Fest and achieved meaningful results.
Add and implement additional mini-games
Game stabilization & final localization pass
Prepare crowdfunding rewards & launch-exclusive events for backers
After the demo portion, approximately 1 hour 10 minutes of story content (excluding mini-games) has been completed.
This estimate is based on playtime feedback from my Japanese translator.
However, my Italian translator reported about 2 hours for the same section, and my own playthrough took around 50 minutes.
(As I essentially have the script memorized, you can treat this as a “speed-read” Korean playthrough.)
Due to the nature of the genre, playtime naturally varies depending on language and player, but
my target was to keep the full game under 2 hours.
Even without all planned additional content included at the time of testing, the duration was already close to 2 hours.
Now that all mini-games have been added, I expect the final playtime to be very close to (or slightly above) 2 hours on average.
I am collaborating with the following team for localization:
Raffaele — Italian localization & English polishing
Zhuge + 2 teammates — Simplified Chinese localization
Mukai Shiori — Japanese localization & proofreading
Three core mini-games have been fully implemented to give the game a more “game-like” feel:
Composing:
Originally a guitar-fretboard-style musical puzzle relying heavily on pitch recognition.
Based on user feedback, it has been redesigned into a safe-cracking-style puzzle with musical hints.
Busking:
A rhythm game that differs from the typical 4-key setup.
Uses Space / J(left) / K(down) / L(right), and requires hitting notes while pressing guitar chord keys (QWER combinations).
Chase:
A two-button rhythm game using Space + J(left).
Notes approach from both sides.
Simple, but includes a special mechanic that I’ll keep secret for now :)
Additionally, a guitar lesson mini-game with the Old Man is planned.
Since development is currently on schedule, I'm confident it will be included.
I participated in the Steam Next Fest held from October 13–20.
Even without aggressive promotion, the game received encouraging attention and results.
Before Next Fest: ~260 wishlists (mostly Korean players)
After Next Fest: ~1,150 wishlists (Japan, North America, South Korea — in that order)
Currently, the wishlist count is approaching 1,300, with a very balanced regional distribution.
A large boost came from Japanese media coverage — I truly appreciate the support from Hambahknunto and Masa kei.
Nothing complicated — simply continue moving forward:
Implement remaining planned mini-games
Stabilize the build & finish localization
Prepare crowdfunding rewards & launch-exclusive events

In Mashmak, you may encounter small Morena Decoy Units in any mode. These pumpkin-headed unarmed Strikers are highly evasive. Intercept them to earn extra tradable event Supply Crates.
To thwart Theia, S.H.A.D.O.W. will deploy Locator Beacons to uncover Restricted Zones filled with Mech-o'-Lanterns. Clear these zones to earn Armored Supply Crates, with rewards scaling by the number destroyed. High-quality crates may include tradable Night of Drifting Souls Supply Crates.
Before deployment, load a Restricted Zone Key: Night of Drifting Souls (from Mashmak loot, Night of Drifting Souls Supply Crates, or Matrix Selections) into a Locator Beacon: Night of Drifting Souls (from Matrix Supplies) for airdrop configuration.
The Night of Drifting Souls Restricted Zone only appears in Mashmak Co-op (all difficulties) and Covert Operation. Detect it with a configured Night of Drifting Souls Locator Beacon.

Weapons
ALYSNES, WELKIN, PANTHER, and STELLARUS: Fixed an issue where switching from a Modular Weapon during the first melee combo stage triggered a downward strike.
ALYSNES Aux 1 (Battle Halberd): Fixed an issue where Boost Attack wasn't interrupted after countering an enemy melee attack with the Halberd's thrust while turning and raising the Complex Shield.
WELKIN: Fixed an issue where solely equipping the Modular Weapon: Induced Sword (Sidearm) prevented the downward slash attack from working properly.
NARUKAMI Aux 2 (Traction Grappler): Fixed an issue where using it on an enemy to enter a Restricted Zone and then using the same weapon to exit caused the camera to glitch.
HURRICANE: Fixed conflicting visuals for waist thrusters during turns.
Pulse Claw (Modular Weapon/AQUILA Aux 1): Fixed an issue where the drone kept tracking the target after lock-on was lost.
AQUILA Aux 2 (Airborne Kit): Fixed an issue where activating it after switching Modular Weapons disabled descent.
SKYRAIDER Aux 1 (Jamming Missiles): Fixed an issue where switching to Aux 2 (Aerial Assault Form) mid-fire left missile pods open.
STELLARUS Sidearm (Assault Warblade): Fixed an issue where chaining it with Main Weapon combos and using Aux 2: Optical Camouflage failed to exit stealth.
STELLARUS Aux 1 (Grappler Launcher): Fixed an issue enabling repeated Palm Blaster attacks after firing the Grappler Launcher in Modular Weapon mode and switching back to default weapons.
STELLARUS (Optical Camouflage Drones): Fixed abnormal flickering when in drone stealth range and the Assault Warblade's parry state.
SERENITH Aux 2 (Orbital Targeting System): Fixed an issue where switching to a Modular Weapon during a non-charged attack triggered it instantly.
SERENITH Modular Weapon (Heavy Sniper Cannon): Fixed an issue where switching to the Heavy Sniper Cannon and quickly entering Sniper Mode allowed lock-on to persist.
SERENITH Aux 1 (Disruption Grappler): Fixed an issue where Kraub Sinkhole Data Node interactions weren't interrupted by enemy Strikers crossing the link.
ALPHARD Modular Weapon (Melee): Fixed an issue where using Boost Attack, switching to default weapons, activating Aux 2 (Rapid Assault Mode), and switching back to the melee weapon caused melee attack animations to disappear.
