NEW UPDATE IS OUT v1.4.0
This update includes Invasions. Get ready to defend your ranch from relentless beetle swarms and earn powerful new rewards.
Every once in a while, a trumpet will appear, signaling that an invasion has started. Jump in and squash beetles by clicking on them. Each invasion has multiple waves that grow tougher as you go. Build up your combo by squashing beetles quickly, a higher combo means more damage and extra experience.
Leveling up during invasions earns you skill points that can be spent in the new Invasion Skill Tree, unlocking powerful ranch and combat upgrades to strengthen your defenses.
Reaching milestones during invasions grants even more loot and bonuses, making every victory worth the fight.
Winning or losing invasions both come with their own rewards and penalties—but don’t worry. If you’d rather stay peaceful, you can let the trumpet expire and only take a small penalty.
I hope you enjoy the update.

Hi everyone! Josh here! 👋
And a big welcome to everyone who just joined our community during the Autumn Sale! 🎃
I'm releasing a surprise (and highly requested!) new feature today: Item stacking!
I’ll admit I've been dragging my feet on adding this. I grew up on farming sims that didn't have stacking, so I didn't quite get the hype. But I kept seeing how many of you were asking for it... and now that it's in, well, I kind of really like it. 😅
You can now stack up to 9 times per inventory slot. My hope is that this makes managing your inventory much smoother and lets you spend more time enjoying the village and less time running back and forth to the shipping bin.
This was a HUGE task that involved touching up nearly every aspect of the game, so please let me know if any bugs slipped past testing. 🪲
Important Note for Existing Saves: When you load an older save, all of your existing items will still be unstacked in your inventory/storage. However, all new items you pick up or craft will stack correctly from now on!
Other Bug Fixes:
Fixed an issue where players could sometimes slide unexpectedly during the start of date scenes in the Grove. (Guess they were a bit anxious?)
Fixed a bug where the Kitchen oven could become unresponsive after being built. Cooking is back on the menu!
Your feedback is what helps me make Firefly Village the best it can be. Thank you for bringing these issues to my attention!
As always, if you want to support the game, consider leaving a review on Steam – it makes a huge difference! ✨

Hey!

Thanks for being here. More news soon! 🔦
The Playtest will be going live until midnight on the 31st, Halloween.

We've focused on bringing the landscape to life in our post-apocalyptic world.
The completed area of our map is set in a vast wasteland, where the remnants of a partially destroyed city rise from the sand and dust.
Crumbling skyscrapers, abandoned streets, and shattered structures tell the story of a world long fallen—yet full of danger, secrets, and hidden loot waiting to be uncovered.
Scavenge buildings and hidden spots to find valuable loot scattered across the wasteland. Every item you discover can either be added to your inventory or broken down into Netcode Splits (essential resource used for crafting and upgrades)
In our persistent open world, the environment evolves and changes with every playthrough. The world never resets, and your actions leave a lasting impact. But beware: if you die, all the equipment you've collected will be lost—unless you manage to recover it. So stay cautious and always be ready for the next challenge.
In the crafting menu, you can create ammo and regen units using Netcode Splits. To generate Netcode Splits, simply destroy loot you've collected, either while picking it up or from your inventory. Craft wisely—these valuable resources are essential for surviving the wasteland.
AI-Sy is your loyal companion, assisting you in finding loot, detecting enemies, and providing healing support when needed. With AI-Sy by your side, you can explore the wasteland with confidence, knowing that you're never alone in the fight for survival.
Fight against AI bots and defeat them to collect Netcode Fragments at the Obelisks. These fragments are crucial for crafting special items that will give you an edge in battle. The Obelisks spawn randomly outside the city, so stay alert and be ready to claim the rewards they offer. Follow the sign to fínd the Obelisk

Take the Control Point located in the heart of the city. Capture it and defend it for as long as you can to generate points. Only the strongest will hold their ground. Prove your skills, and if you’re epic enough, your name will be displayed on the TNC leaderboard in the sky for all to see.

With enough Netcode Splits and Netcode Fragments, you can craft Strike Turrets and Viper Turrets in the Crafting Menu. Once deployed on the map, these turrets will support you in combat and help defend the Control Point system.
We host regular War Seasons where everyone in our community has the chance to prove they’re the best. Whether you’re fighting for control of the Control Point or hunting down the devs in-game, War Seasons bring intense action and epic moments. Together, we’ll explore the world of TNC, and gather ideas for future events—shaped by the community, for the community.

The Underdog Feature is designed to make Wildcard more welcoming for newer or struggling players, while also creating fresh challenges for high-skill competitors. It provides extra rewards and a temporary in-game buff to balance uneven matchups.
Any match that includes at least one Underdog will grant:
2x Fame
2x Battle Pass Tokens
Underdog players receive 2x max health for the duration of the match.
To decide if a player should receive the Underdog buff, the system compares all players in the match across the following criteria:
MMR: Relative matchmaking rating differences.
Win Percent: Long-term performance consistency.
Streaks: Current winning or losing streaks.
Number of Games Played: Total experience in Wildcard.
The system weighs these factors against one another to identify if one player is significantly disadvantaged compared to their opponent. If so, that player is flagged as the Underdog and receives the buff.
Facing an Underdog should be viewed as a unique challenge. Since Underdog players have a buff, experienced players must adapt and approach situations differently. The goal is to make matches feel more engaging and demanding for veterans, while still giving newer players a fairer, more enjoyable experience in tough matchups.
