Tyrium - Sceptical Orange

Hello everyone, quite sometime passed since the last update to Tyrium, but the workflow is running yet again.

We increased our team to optimize the workload balance and insure the quality of the content we want to deliver. That said, today we want to share with you our recent development update:

Focusing on the story mode of the game, we are currently working on a tutorial in the form of a prologue mission, which explains the conflict of our main faction GTO with the so called Rebells. Many thanks to the much appreciated feedback we received. Based on that feedback we saw that Tyrium has already attracted some freshly starting RTS players, so we wanted to make the entry barrier for this genre as low as possible. Therefore we designed the tutorial mission in a way that the user gets teached all the basics a RTS game has to offer, while also narrating the journey and story of our protagonist which you will follow through on his path to greatness.

Down below you find screenshots of the tutorial in the current state as well as some video which shows the intro sequence to explain a little bit of what is going on. Please keep in mind this is still early development footage with low polishing and focusing on the working systems. Which are currently the possibility to create staged and narrative driven sequences as well as guiding a user with mission objectives and tracking the completion of those. 

As we are now putting in the hours once again and starting heavily to focus on adding more and more content, keep an eye out on Tyrium as we will post our updates regularly. We aim to finish the tutorial mission and polish it up as soon as possible to add it into our Demo version so you guys can try it yourself and give us some more welcomed feedback.

  • Bots on the Al-Rabad map no longer block mission progress in the Point Sweep and Special Operation modes.

  • Vagabond's special gear now restores after each round (except for Onslaught mode).

  • A number of fixes were implemented to improve mission performance in the Onslaught: Shadows of Fear mode.

Also now, Support Aisen can be purchased on the website store together with other unique rewards of his Episode.

We have updated the version to resolve several issues found in the previous version. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.Common

  • Updated to the Unity version that addresses the security vulnerability

    • This matter was already addressed in the 25.10. 24 update.

  • Fixed an error with the increase in food proficiency

  • Fixed a bug where bonus effect were not applying in Events

  • Lowered the values for selection constraints and bonus occurrence conditions in Events

  • Strengthened the penalty for the Rumor Events

  • Fixed a bug where the suspicion increase effect remained after responding to Rumor Events

Story Mode
We have fixed several critical bugs that significantly impacted gameplay. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused.

  • Fixed proficiency requirements for room and facility tiles

    • Following the last patch, the required proficiency level remained unchanged despite the rate of proficiency gain decreasing. This prevented players from purchasing tiles in a timely manner. This issue has now been resolved.

    • Additionally, if proficiency falls below the expected value for each week, it will now be automatically adjusted following this update.

  • Fixed a bug where purchasing tiles via the Inn Management menu, saving the game, and then returning to the Preparation screen would reset the purchase information.

  • Increased the target values for quests and monthly objectives related to money acquisition.

    • Following the last patch, money acquisition significantly increased, so target values have been adjusted accordingly.

  • Fixed an error in the count tracking for some monthly objectives.

    • An error occurred in the type of clearing specific quests or using specific skills n times.

Endless Mode

  • Fixed a bug where the MAX value of the suspicion metric did not increase upon a reputation grade upgrade.
