⚠️ Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes prior to maintenance, and all players will be disconnected once it begins.

1. System Changes

* Added a new feature that allows players to check Normal Match records via Season > Stats menu.

* The Buff Shrine, which could previously be captured during matches, has been removed.

* The sound effect for obtaining a large amount of gold on the field has been updated.

* When defeating Bots, there is now a small chance to receive extra gold.

* The Crafting System has been changed to a Random Upgrade System.

→ Instead of increasing by only one level at a time, items can now randomly upgrade up to Levels 2–7 based on probability.

2. Event Reward Boost

* The Halloween Candy ×5 Event is now live!

→ Until the next maintenance, the amount of Pumpkin Candy dropped in the field will be greatly increased — up to 5×!

3. Weapon Balance Adjustments

* Lv. 6 (Legendary) firearms: Damage increased by 10%.

* Lv. 7 (Mythic) firearms: Damage increased by 30%.

4. Combat Balance Adjustments

* The Blue Zone (Safe Zone) contraction speed has been reduced by approximately 25%, resulting in faster-paced and more intense matches.

* The sound of Ninja’s Lightning Slash has been adjusted to be heard more clearly from a distance.

5. Shop Updates

* New Halloween Witch (4 pieces) and Halloween Vampire (4 pieces) random outfit boxes have been added to the Shop.

* Sales Period: Limited-time for 8 weeks

※ Note: Equipping all pieces of the Halloween Witch Set changes the Gas Soldier’s level-up and ultimate visual effects.

6. Bug Fixes

* Fixed an issue where field-spawned gold chests could be duplicated abnormally.

Years ago, I published a small book called Void.

I used to sit out on the Venice Beach boardwalk, sun overhead, reading it aloud to strangers. Every once in a while, someone would stop, listen, and buy a copy.

If I imagine Riftborn’s launch like that - 166 people walking by my stand, 8 stopping to watch, and 12 saying they might come back to buy one - that’s something I can build from.

Sure, maybe I need to improve my stand a little bit. But this is a game I’m deeply into, and this is just the beginning.
