  • Fixed issue where Sophie was missing her Rogue trait in her description box but could still use Rogue items.

  • Fixed issue where Corsair Sophie was missing the Magical tag.

  • Fixed issue where Gallant's promoted classes were missing the Magical tag.

  • Fixed issue where Enemy Diego was missing a Firearm sprite, making him invisible during combat.

  • Fixed issue where killing Chapter 22's boss with an environmental effect would softlock the game and not count towards the victory condition.

  • Fixed issue where Marina, the squid familiar, could not claim their hero relic.

  • Fixed issue in Chapter 23 and Post Game Map #9 where some tree tiles were flagged as Empty.

  • Fixed a typo in Training Weapons's description that said they increased WExp by 3, and not 5, which is the accurate value.

  • Fixed a typo in Post Game Map #8's victory condition where Leo's Victory Condition would point towards another potential boss.

What to Expect

This version is very much a work in progress—built over 4 years by a single programmer who also works a full-time job. Pity him. Have mercy on him.

You may encounter:

  • Incomplete features

  • Missing polish or placeholder visuals

  • Technical issues and occasional instability

  • Cringy dialogue, like fr fr no cap.

These are expected at this stage and will help us identify areas to refine before the more open beta release.

Please do not take Ghost Bros if you are allergic to Ghost Bros.

You’ll notice some temporary “store-bought” assets you’ve probably seen in other horror games. (Yes, that same house with the rocking chair makes an appearance.) These will be replaced as development continues.

We're just coming back to life after PGA 2025!

It was an amazing adventure! Thank you to everyone who came, played, talked, and even supported us with warm words! It's really motivating!

As for the game itself... you did pretty well! You killed a total of 16,473 cultists, 15 bosses (actually 15 times the same one :D), and 48 mini-bosses. You collected 6,591 gold and 1,372 items! I don't even have a scale to measure the number of your deaths!

Bug Fixes
  • Superior commits weren't properly resetting with redeploys
  • Huge weapon damage buff bug. Weapons were being upgraded well beyond their level and this wasn't the intent. Weapons lost a lot of damage after the bug was fixed, and were subsequently buffed. See below under balance.

Quality of Life
  • Game boots with a black background now

Balance
  • First pass of balancing, with weapons getting 2 to 3 times their base damage across all tiers. Some weapons had their range extended, and others had a firing time increase
  • Offensive power scaled with level at a higher base rate than defensive - this is no longer the case. The intent was to make the game more lethal towards the end, but it became a game of "who can shoot first" and that's no fun.
