Today is a very special day for us, as we are excited to announce that ROUTINE will launch on 4th December on Steam and Xbox platforms.
The journey has been long, tough, and emotional, but also extremely rewarding. We're really happy that before the year is over, you’ll be able to experience the game that we have dedicated our lives to for so long.

	Hello everyone! Hope you've been enjoying the Chunky JUMP! DEMO so far. I wanted to inform you all of an upcoming update.
Unfortunately, it seems that many players still don't know how to play Chunky JUMP!, this is because I wanted people to figure out the controls by themselves, and some did but some didn't. This should not be the case for a game like this, so I will begin working on an update with an optional tutorial for all players and some small bug fixes to the game itself. I understand it's totally my bad for not making these things clear, so I hope the tutorial will help you all understand the main mechanics better.
I will also be implementing some small changes to improve the experience, and make it easier for you all to survive the Ghabbit.

If you are one of the people having trouble understanding Chunky JUMP! here are some tips for you:
Simply click the "Z" key to select your language, this is TOTALLY my bad for not enabling the "Enter" key for this sequence, so my apologies. This will be fixed in the update.
When you hide the Bird Boy, simply move your mouse if you want to use mouse controls, if you want to move on keyboard, just press the movement keys.
This one's my bad for not making it clear, but yes, you have to hold the screws to screw them back in, not click them repeatedly. Clicking them will not do anything.
Simply move your cursor to the Ghabbit's face to make him disappear from the windows, you don't have to click any buttons/keys here.
If you want to use the Bird Boy, you have to press SHIFT, or whatever key you have assigned for it. You cannot beat the night if you do not complete the level.
If you run out of battery, you need to go below the front desk, where the supplies are. The batteries are there, but remember, these are limited.
Those are some of the things I noticed people were mostly having trouble with for now, I will explain all the controls in the upcoming tutorial though, so stay tuned to know when that update releases! Thank you all for the feedback as well, I've been reading all of your reviews and comments, and I will keep improving the full game.
 
	Boy, what a year it’s been.
One year ago, Blood on the Thames came out, and I think this has been possibly the craziest year I’ve ever experienced. Blood on the Thames was released on Halloween of 2024, and a few months later, we released our Quincy’s Madness update, which added all the fun ARGs. We started our next project, which you might have guessed the title of if you follow our Twitter https://(https://x.com/BlackHatMystery). If you want another hint about our next game, we went to France to study the history and the location. And now we are in full development mode for that.
To make things even crazier, our studio (meaning the director) has moved from Orlando, Florida, to Washington, DC! New work, new faces, new life. I am personally very excited for what this means for our future, but it means that the last year has been a lot to say the least.
But don’t worry, just because we’ve moved on doesn't mean that we’ve abandoned Blood on the Thames. In fact, with this one-year anniversary, we are uploading a bunch of bug fixes, including achievements, Simone randomly disappearing, and that dreaded crack in the wall, as well as a handful of others.
I wanted to thank everyone who has posted bugs in the discussion board, and I promise to keep fixing things as people find them. The unfortunate downside of being such a small team is that our QA department is pretty much friends and family who accept dinner as payment, so all of you have been incredibly helpful.

And with that, I hope you’re enjoying our game. I anticipate the next major update will be when we announce our next title officially, at which point we might add some fun little Easter eggs for you to find.

	Fixed an issue where focus time was not saved correctly by the minute in certain environments.
Fixed a bug where focus time after midnight did not properly reflect the logical start time.
 
	
	New major update is now live (in demo build!
It features a ton of refinements and improvements:
- Added 3rd person view! Use buttons on the left side of cockpit to switch view
- Added alternative way to steer! If Dart throttles are not gripped, gamepad like steering will be used.
- New unlockable Dart! Another coming soon...
- Darts are no longer modular, each Dart is unique!
- Core Dart components can be upgraded, boosting stats
- Boost type can be changed on per Dart basis
- Added Dart trails
- Removed hand tracking
- Fixed missing floor collision in garage
- Minor key bindings changes
- Added shader compilation step during map load
- Various performance improvements
- Various minor polish and bug fixes
