Optimizations & Adjustments
  • Optimized the experience of skipping the spin animation by reducing the animation time

  • Modified the special refresh recommendation algorithm, refining the recommendation rules: If the count of the most numerous type > 6, recommend only that type; in other cases, prioritize recommending the type with the highest count. If the count of the 1st type is less than 5, and the count of the second type is only 1 less than the first type, then prioritize recommending the second type, among other optimizations

  • Modified the shop refresh algorithm: Refreshing the shop has a chance to recommend a lineup; the more refreshes, the higher the recommendation chance, up to a maximum of 10%; If no Link is formed by the 3rd battle, the first shop refresh immediately recommends a type that can form a Link

  • Swapped the mechanics of the Labrador and the Wolf

  • Increased the ATK gained by the Eagle and the Mantis

  • Tiles bound to characters are now unlocked by completing a game with any character, instead of requiring completion with the bound character

  • Increased the chance for Legendary tiles to appear in the shop by +1%

  • In the 7th battle, refreshing the shop has a 4% chance to recommend a type; in the 8th battle, it has an 8% chance

  • When using the Lucky Handle, for battles 1 and 2, if HP loss is greater than 6, reduce the HP loss by 1

  • Changed the Guitar's rarity from 3 to 4

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed the bug preventing the Thumbs Up, Queue Up, and Scrolling Lights achievements from being completed

  • Fixed the conflict bug between the Chinese Dragon and the Hammer

  • Fixed the bug where the Piggy Bank's Coins could exceed the limit

  • Fixed the bug where the Cracker, when obtained, did not update the number of Lands

  • Fixed the bug where the Pug's Lands increase effect did not work for Dice

  • Fixed the issue where the game could not be closed properly

Curse of Argentum - ApertureToast
You can now play "Curse of Argentum" without the fixed camera perspective!

This setting can be enabled in the options menu under "GAME" settings.

Note: This view-mode is a bonus addition, and is not the way the game was designed nor intended to be played. Still, if there are any issues send them through and I will try to resolve them.

Note: The fixed camera is still used in the maze section as it is important for the puzzle design.

Also:
  • Added setting in options menu to skip 2 opening cutscenes.

Hello vikings!

We want to start with mentioning a Unity security vulnerability that occurred a few weeks back. There is no evidence that the vulnerability ever reached Valheim in any way, and we hurried to patch the game with the necessary updates from Unity as soon as we could. We didn’t make any announcement about this at the time as we didn’t want to cause unnecessary alarm, but we do also want to assure you that the game is safe for you to play. We thank you for your understanding!

But now to the more lighthearted stuff! The time has come to finally check back in with Hervor Bloodtooth. Without further ado:



The creatures down in the winding tunnels couldn’t best her! How do you think you’ll fare once it’s your turn to square up against them? They’ve caused quite a mess above the surface, after all…



Don’t worry though, there will be plenty of opportunities for creation in the Deep North too! The development of the biome is progressing well, and lately we’ve been focusing on things such as adding some interesting elements to the snow, as well as working out some new crafting extensions, just to name a few! We want to share the extension for the Galdr table with you as a little teaser, the loom:

Hello magus !

Here is the ULTIMATE challenge ! The most important task of your existence !

You must ascend to the old Archmage secret lab and find the infinite Coffee Maker !!!

What changed :

  • New game mode The Ascent

  • Old level mechanics, platforms were polished

  • Lots of visual improvements

  • Lots of performance optimisations to remove as much input (and frame) lag

  • Camera tracking on gamepad has been improved and will now only activate if the stick more than half pushed at full speed

  • Ledge grabbing improved to make it more "natural"

  • Some visual and audio effects have been re-made.

  • For now : Using Vulkan on Windows and Linux (to have the same constraints) on differed rendering but without Lumen, Nanite...
    = should run on a potato

  • New Steam achievement for the crazy foo-- fabulous player who had enough courage to reach the top of The Ascent !
