 
	
	The horror of Spectral Scream has evolved even further. In this update, the creature AI system has been completely revamped, and now players can experience a new stealth horror where they truly 'are seen, hide, and escape'.
Vision-based Detection
From range-based detection → Changed to vision-based recognition
Creatures react by judging viewing angle, distance, and degree of exposure
Brief exposure at the edge of vision leads to 'suspicious state', direct frontal exposure immediately starts pursuit
Moving quietly from behind may result in not being detected

Auditory System Improvement
From reacting to all sounds → Changed to focus on repetitive and loud sounds
Reduced excessive reactions to footsteps, door opening/closing sounds, etc.
More realistic and strategic sound gameplay possible

Pursuit and Search Logic Improvement
Pursuit stops when the player exits the field of vision
Returns to initial state if search fails after a certain time
Official support for stealth/cover play: pillars, cabinets, behind doors, etc. can be utilized

Solo Play Improvement: Survival through stealth possible without items
Strategy Enhancement: Various options available such as combat, evasion, stealth

	We come with some less than favorable news for you all; The Bite-Sized Scares title update. which was originally planned for Halloween, has unfortunately been pushed back to November.
This is due to time-constraints and unexpected happenings for the developers. We realistically would have never been able to release the games in a proper, polished state for Halloween.
We're deeply sorry for the this inconvenience, but we hope to make it up to you by sharing some spicy screenshots for the games coming in the update! More information will be revealed soon!

After escaping the BHI Facility, SWORDCAR finds itself in a heavily militarized No-Man's-Land
Reaching past the moat, you must fight through the Temple of the Line
This old school tuner swings its Nunchaku in combos to create a large damage area, its a bit fragile though.
A Super Sport with a monster Yuntoudao out its front. While it can barely cast a spell, it's Phase Shift deals damage to enemies it passes through and can perform it for half the stamina.

SWORDCAR'S PRICE WILL BE INCREASING SOON
I really did not want this update to take a whole year, but right after my last update I was offered a contract that I couldn't pass up that turned into a job. I lost that job (Yay game industry!) and picked up a couple other contracts. Now I have some money squirreled away and my contracts are nearly up.
I hope to add some features (Loadout Switches? Haptic feedback? Achievements?) to the game in the coming months that I'll need for the next set of levels, so stay tuned for more updates.
Also you may note that there is no Roadmap on this update. I do not think that old roadmap is reflective of how I think I should move forward, I'll put another one together soon enough.
As always thanks so much to the wonderful little community, you guys are so kind and it keeps me chipping away at this ridiculous project. Can't wait for you all to see the full campaign of SWORDCAR

Escape Simulator 2 is a big project made by a small team. The game supports 15 languages and multiplayer for up to 8 players, which means a lot of different setups to test.
