Odyssey: Realm of Echoes - nz

This update focuses on improving gameplay clarity, performance, and user experience. The RPG Mode UI has been refined for easier access, the grass system has been optimized for better visuals and smoother performance, and several quality-of-life fixes have been made like improving the Royal Knight Armor. Here’s a breakdown of the changes:

IMPROVEMENTS
  • RPG Mode UI Overhaul: The interface has been redesigned and Solo Mode is now selected by default, with Co-op Mode available as an option.

  • Quest & Shop Indicators: Added clear visual indicators for quest givers and shop locations to enhance navigation.

  • Royal Knight Armor Upgrade: The armor now uses the Platformer Mode skin, improving consistency and visual quality.

  • Grass System Improvements:

    • Grass density now decreases with distance for better performance.

    • Recolored and optimized grass for a more natural environment.

  • Solo Mode Optimization: Group mechanics have been removed in Solo Mode for cleaner, more stable gameplay.

FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS
  • Fixed Various typos across menus and dialogues.

  • Fixed Collision issues in Platformer Mode that could cause players to get stuck at the end of levels.

The Caves
Once, the dungeons of an old monastery holding the graves of heroes long forgotten are now the Headquarters of the Cult. The influence of the Beast is very clear here, and the cultists clearly nurture it instead of fighting against it..

The Caves come with the following story quests:
  • Stop the Procession
  • Help the Hero
  • Help the Hero Again

The Beach
The place where everything began. It is from here that the Beast emerged and began its vile campaign into the depths of the land. The place is completely dominated by its influence. The entire surroundings represent a caricature of what it used to be, dominated by monumental manifestations of the Beast's influence..

The Beach comes with the following story quests:
  • Prevent the summoning
  • Rescue the Prisoner

New bosses can also be encountered in these newly added arenas, but we don't want to spoil much more beyond that! One of these bosses has also been added to the endless arenas and a new variant of the Golem enemy has also been added to the game.


Alongside these new additions, we've also included the following bug fixes in this update:
  • Fixed the boss spawning issues in endless arenas.
  • Fixed a softlock issue where the player presses the [Space] button in the ‘Credits’ menu.
  • Fixed enemy spawning issues in the endless arenas.
  • Fixed the issue where the dialogues failed to pause in the pause menu.
  • Fixed multiple grammatical & punctuation errors in dialogue and quest descriptions.
  • Fixed a UI issue where the ‘Return to Sanctum’ disappears after pressing the [Space] button.

1.更新了技能释放记忆功能

(1)现在在战斗时释放技能后,战斗中会将其置顶在技能列表首位,最大记忆的技能数量目前设置为20个,这一改动将方便玩家使用经常使用的技能。

(2)状态衍生技能依然会生成在技能列表默认的位置。使用该技能后,下次获得对应状态时,此衍生技能会置顶在技能列表首位。

(3)此功能默认关闭,需要打开设置中的技能记忆选项才能生效,关闭时技能会恢复默认顺序,再次开启时则会继续调用关闭前的顺序。

2.现在已将部分功能类记忆置顶

(1)现在类似\[月之纱]的功能类技能,会默认置顶在菜单技能列表首位。该技能顺序不影响战斗技能记忆功能。

3.对部分状态做了死亡后不消失的处理

(1)DLC1中,队友在高难度战斗下会获得增益补正,但死亡后再次复活时,该补正状态不会恢复,这明显不合理。现在更新了一个特殊的插件,使队友复活后能够重新获得这类状态。

4.对传送功能进行了优化处理

(1)原本的传送功能由于是用物品选择制作的,当DLC1加入后,传送点变得很多,寻找对应的传送点变得十分困难,因此现在加入了新的插件,重做了整个传送点的逻辑。

(2)现在与传送水晶交互后,会出现一个单独的界面,该界面可以看到传送点的大分类,以及对应的地点背景图片。这使得后续DLC加入的传送点变得一目了然。

(3)该功能目前还在测试中,如果出现问题,请及时汇报。

  • If Score Exchange is launched in parallel with Lucky Draw, then 1 spent gold coin is equal to 2 points.
  • These accumulated points can be used both in the Score Exchange event itself and in the Lucky Draw event (points spent are displayed exactly in both events and if spend points in Score Exchange, they will disappear from the Lucky Draw event and vice versa.)

Escape Simulator - G0rilla
Escape Simulator 2, the next chapter of ES world is out now on Steam!

It features 12 completely new rooms, each much larger and more detailed than before, with puzzles that take around 50 minutes to solve.

The new Lobby lets you gather with friends before entering rooms. It is also a place to display trophies, hang photos, or relax between escapes.

Under the hood, we rebuilt many systems from scratch. The game now includes improved graphics, physics, networking, animation, and a new autosave system that remembers your progress at all times. You can now invite friends mid-game with drop-in multiplayer and keep playing together instantly.

The Room Editor 2.0 is available in BETA, bringing new tools and upgrades. We’ll keep improving it and soon host the first Builders Competition for ES2 creators.

What’s next for ES1?

We’re not done with Escape Simulator 1 either. Our dedicated team is already working on new rooms and we plan to keep releasing content for it for a long time.
