Bugs:

Weapons could be played in Pacifist mode using random generation
Playing a different mode after Pacifist could hide certain units from appearing
Transmuting units could give buffs with Necromancer Hut and Styx' Well
Rare crash when multi-selecting while unit is getting removed
Units could overlap when dragging quickly (this one is hard to replicate so let me know if you still see this happening!)
Crash when conceding during Hero select
Combat Log would not display correctly when 2 units have the same Name and same value (triggers, damage etc...)
Window settings were still a bit clunky

Other:

Pain Inverter now stops appearing in King of the Hill
Shelter now correctly displays "Adjacent Town units"
Tier 3 / 4 Ancient Encounters no longer appear during Pacifist runs (these didn't hold any units in that gamemode)

Guide

FEEDING YUYUKO - 魔王希斯克利夫

Because of UI limitations, here are some additional details that won't be mentioned in the app.

Black screen / transparent background failure
Solution: Click the gear icon at the top-right of Steam → Manage → Browse local files, right-click game.exe → Properties → Compatibility, check Disable fullscreen optimizations.
It can be confirmed the problem is caused by the system booting in Safe Mode, but there’s already a better fix, so I’m just mentioning this in passing (lol).
Long-press Yuyuko or Mini-Yuyuko for one second to drag them; move the mouse over text to see a detailed description.
The logic for work modes has been changed so Yuyuko hides when an app is maximized or the app is in fullscreen — the real effect is about the same, so I didn’t change it further.
About “Digest”: once enabled it randomly deletes one file from the Recycle Bin that’s been there over five days every 30 seconds, and it also restores satiety.
Restarting after a long time may take noticeably longer
This is probably because the app needs to calculate satiety and related stuff — after all, you get hungry when you wake up, and Yuyuko does too.
Maximum satiety is 16 points
Feeding the same file repeatedly does not stack. Hunger drains fastest at 1 point per 5 minutes, slowest at 1 point per 5 hours. I prefer to keep the experience light and fun rather than realistic.
If you really want to lower affection… try feeding a file named “Monika” , yes, that Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club.
Feeding keywords and related behavior
Files you feed are classified as either “no keyword” or “keyword” based on their filename. No-keyword files have three generic animations, but there’s still a 10% chance to randomly trigger a keyword event. Keyword events have 14 special animations total. As for what the keywords are… telling you would spoil the fun, but yes, there are definitely dango entries.
I originally planned to add an entry for feeding [c]word.exe[/c], but I think I forgot.
Update plans?
None. (shrug)
I don’t like shipping half-finished things; when I upload something it’s basically in a finished state. Sales have been poor, so unless a serious new bug appears there probably won’t be more updates.
Final words
There are 249 total entries ,not a huge number, but enough to justify the price.
Whether you like the project or not, this is my first fully finished piece of software; the moment I clicked Publish I felt satisfied.

Mic Setup Guide (Fix in Progress)

Hey survivor!

To enjoy MIMESIS, you’ll need a microphone connected to your PC.

For the best experience, we recommend using a mic directly plugged into your computer. Please avoid using sound-effect software or audio interfaces that modify your voice.

First, prepare your mic and connect it to your PC. (Connection methods may vary depending on your mic model or setup, so check your device manufacturer’s instructions.)

If you’re using a Bluetooth mic, connect it through your PC’s Bluetooth settings following the manufacturer’s guide.

Check your in-game settings

1. Go to the Settings menu after launching the game.

2. Make sure the correct mic is selected as your input device. (If you have multiple mics, test by switching between them!)

3. When you speak, check if the input bar moves. (If you’re using push-to-talk, hold the button while testing.)

If the mic bar doesn’t react, try checking the following

Quick checklist

- Make sure your mic is properly connected.

- Make sure microphone permissions are enabled.

Windows 10: Settings > Privacy > Microphone → Turn on “Allow apps to access your microphone.”

Windows 11: Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone → Turn on “Microphone access” and allow your game to use it.

Windows 11 Settings:

Start > Settings > System > Sound → Scroll to Input

Check that the correct mic is selected.

If you have multiple devices (like a webcam mic), make sure the right one is active.

Use the Test Mic button to confirm it’s working.

Windows 10 Settings:

Right-click the speaker icon on the taskbar → “Open Sound Settings” → Go to the “Recording” tab.

Check if your mic has a check mark. If not, right-click it and choose “Set as Default Device.”

Speak into the mic and see if the bar moves.
