With this update, 4 classic monsters will appear wearing Halloween costumes!

⚒️ The Forge Improvements

The Forge got a new weapon selection system:

  • It now avoids giving you guns you already own (not 100% perfect, but almost!).

  • Weapon rolls are now more random and diverse, making crafting less predictable.


🌌 Visual Tweaks — Echoes of Midnight
  • Minor graphic improvements were made to Echoes of Midnight, especially around the Shack.
    These changes enhance immersion and the eerie visuals of the map.


🦇 “Vampyr’s Wine” Perk Adjustment
  • The Bat Perk (Vampyr’s Wine) now costs $350 — and this is a permanent change!
    This perk was often “forsaken” by players, but now it’s a much more interesting and affordable option.


🕹️ Quality of Life
  • You can now quit the game from the pause menu even while being a ghost.

  • Exiting through the Hub’s Exit Door will now automatically save your game.

  • Localization improvements to all languages for all Airdrops, Descriptors, Buffs, and Enemies.

Fixes
  • Fixed an issue where the Shrapnel Barrel description displayed 0.25 instead of 2.5 Bullet Count.

  • Fixed an issue where the Titan's Harness augment used the Tech Module: Sightsword sprite in the Gunporium.

  • Fixed an issue where Tech Module: Bullet Optimization description was not displaying the Diminishing Return value.

  • Fixed an issue where the Mad Science Bullets augment caused split bullets to be reduced.

This is a very minor update to fix an issue when first picking up the game and playing the tutorial from the Exhibition menu.

Fixes
  • Fixed soft crash bug that occurs when playing tutorial from Exhibition mode when first launching game where the QB gets stuck during the passing section of the tutorial.

Lionhearts - Credenzio

Welcome once again to the weekly Development Log for Lionhearts, an up-and-coming project on Steam created using Unreal Engine 5.

This week, the programming team finalized outfit replication so all players can see each other's outfits. They also completed data saving for active skills, with implementation of basic skills now underway.

Additionally, bow combat is nearly finished, pending minor animation fixes.

The majority of core systems are now complete or close to completion, allowing the team to begin focusing on bug fixing and polishing.

Several UI and input issues were resolved, including fixing the disappearing mouse in menus and enabling mouse lock by default.

Meanwhile, the 3D animation team finished both spear block and parry animations, making the new combat mechanics feel responsive and cohesive.

On the 3D art side, the Squire outfit was completed, and work has begun on the Man-at-Arms outfit, continuing to expand on variety for character customization.

The Victor Initiative - Spacepiano

This update adds checkpoints to floor B-4, which was previously a point in the game in which the difficulty unfairly spiked. This should allow chapter 2 and the game as a whole to have a more smooth difficulty curve.

  • Respawn/Repair (WIP). Tracking down why a repair might not reactivate a turret.
