Colony Survival - Pipliznl

Update 0.15 is available for a public test right now! The core new feature is the top-down perspective. Unlock the Overseer’s Desk in the tech tree, place it in your colony, and click on it to switch to this perspective.

From the top-down view, you get access to the new Blueprints feature. There is a “Scanner” which allows you to select and save parts of your world. Right next to it is a “Placer” that opens a list of all saved blueprints that you can place back into your colony. A placed blueprint will start a construction project, and you need to assign construction workers to build the project.

Blueprints can also be exported to codes, or imported from them. This allows you to easily share buildings between worlds, with friends or with strangers.

To help navigate indoor and underground spaces from this new perspective, we’ve also added X-Ray vision as a toggleable option. When activated, it will make everything above the height of the Overseer’s Desk invisible. But it also comes with buttons that allow you to increase or decrease the height of this “slice”.

Like the mill we added last year, the Overseer’s Desk is a lot larger than one voxel. We like the consequences of that size, both visually and in terms of gameplay. So we’ve redesigned a bunch of meshes with this new philosophy. The merchant hub, grocery store, tool shop and sacred failsafe were all tiny and bland. They are now much larger and more lively and unique. This will not affect these blocks when they are pre-existing in your world, but each one placed while playing 0.15 will have the new shape.

That’s not the only visual change! The paint system has been expanded. Pillars, architraves, fences and planks are now all paintable. The berry bush switched from a textured voxel to a 3D mesh. Wheat and barley have new meshes. And last but not least: plaster has made it back into the game!

All these features should be working. The main things that are lacking are translations and controller support. But of course, we can’t test the blueprints and the X-Ray vision in all circumstances. And that’s why we need you! Have fun trying out all the new features of 0.15, and if you notice anything weird, let us know. We’ll be monitoring all channels, but Discord and the comments under this blog get checked most frequently. And apart from bug reports, general feedback about the update is also appreciated!

To get access to the beta:
- Right-click Colony Survival in your Steam Library, choose “Properties”
- Go the “Betas” tab, enter the code pleaseshareyourfeedback
- Select the 0.15.0 branch

The game will show the version number in the bottom-right corner in the main menu.

Have fun, and pleaseshareyourfeedback :D

Youtubers Life 3 - Stream Together! - jaume.noguera
Hey Youtubers! 👋

This week we continue our devlog series where we’re sharing all the improvements coming to the final version of Youtubers Life 3 - Stream Together!. This time, we’re focusing on the changes we’re making to enhance the recording system and add new features to make it more realistic, dynamic, and fun.

💡 Inspiration as a Resource
Inspiration 💡 has always been a resource meant to reflect your creative energy as a youtuber — that spark you need to record videos. Until now, it was only used in the recording minigame, which made it feel a bit simple and disconnected from the rest of the game.

We wanted to strengthen the “Life” aspect that gives the game its name, so we’ve turned inspiration into a cross-cutting resource, influenced —just like in real life— by the balance between work and leisure. From now on, inspiration will have its own dedicated space on the HUD:

Inspiration will be consumed when recording videos, and before recording again you’ll need to recover it by taking part in leisure activities or attending events. These activities will be marked with the inspiration icon so you can easily identify them:

Don’t worry — we’ve put a lot of care into balancing this system. Gaining inspiration will be simple and almost seamless. With a full bar, you’ll be able to record several videos in a row, and as you level up, your maximum inspiration capacity will increase.

🌟 Final Round
When all your inspiration bulbs are filled, you’ll enter a “super inspired” state ✨. For a few minutes, you’ll have access to a final round in the recording minigame, where—with a bit of luck—you might push your video to reach 5-star quality.

⚠️ Strikes
Up until now, channel “strikes” acted as a penalty for uploading copyrighted content. However, the system didn’t quite work: usually, you could just pay a small fine and keep recording, which wasn’t very engaging.

In the new version, fines are gone. If you receive a strike, you’ll need to wait a real-time cooldown for it to expire. There’s no other (legal 😏) way to remove it.

But be careful — this mechanic now ties in with karma:
  • If your channel has bad karma, being controversial because of strikes can actually benefit you: your videos will get more visibility… though you’ll earn less from monetization.
  • If you collect 3 strikes, NewTube will temporarily ban you: you won’t be able to upload videos for a while.
And yes… we said there’s no legal way to remove them. Maybe there’s another one, but you’ll have to discover it by playing. 😉

📈 Viral Videos and Bonuses
Videos you record can now receive bonuses depending on how well you perform during recording. We’ll share more details in future posts, but there’s one bonus you’ll love: “virality.”

Virality gives your video a small chance to go viral the moment you publish it, skyrocketing its stats and completely changing your channel’s performance.

🖼️ Thumbnail Ratings
Thumbnail editing was one of the new features in Youtubers Life 3, but the scoring system made players focus only on getting the best rating rather than being creative. That wasn’t our original intention — we wanted it to be a creative and expressive tool.

That’s why, in this new version, we’ve separated thumbnail creation from visibility scoring.
  • The thumbnail design process will remain similar, but now titles will be generated more coherently with the video’s content.
  • The clickbait system has also been adjusted.
  • Plus, we’ve added tags you can select to boost your video’s visibility. If you choose the right tags—those matching your video’s topic—you’ll get a better visibility score. Over time, you’ll learn which tags work best for your content style.

And that’s it for this week’s devlog 🎬. We hope you enjoy these updates and let us know what you think in the comments. See you next week with more details about the new mechanics coming to Youtubers Life 3 - Stream Together!

Thanks for staying with us! ❤️

Slaughter Horse 2 - Catfood McFly

Hello! Here is the promised Friday update. Still plenty of work to do, but reports seem to indicate the game is much more stable (!) now. So here's what's new.

FEATURE: There is now a Steam Workshop for SH2, where you can upload and subscribe to other player's ponies. ** THIS IS STILL UNDER TESTING! ** Packs you subscribe to should appear in your Documents>slaughterHorse2>Workshop folder to import via the QR loader on the Custom Pony screen. To upload your own QR code ponies, in the "Steam>steamapps>common>Slaughter Horse 2>SteamWorkshopUploader" folder is the app to submit packs to the workshop. Let me know how you get on!

As of now, it's single QR code ponies only - not whole sets, although you can put more than one QR pony in a workshop pack. I'll take a look at that later.

BUGFIX: Bug where you could murder a pony who was already dead.

BUGFIX: Options button no longer shows up on update bulletin.

BUGFIX: Pet names should now be remembered correctly, as is your chosen pony set and town name.

BUGFIX: If you send your pet to raid the crematorium and they find it empty, you can now exit without being trapped in there.

BUGFIX: A visit from the Preacher now blocks you correctly.

GAMEPLAY: You should now not find yourself being constantly hanged when there is generally low suspicion in the town unless you are in fact more suspicious or insane than anyone else.

FEATURE: If you click on a fanart poster in the kitchen, you now get a better look at it.

GRAPHICS: Full Investigation particles restored.

GRAPHICS: When your pet raids the crematorium, you now see a third-person view of them.

GRAPHICS: A little glow-up for the Night Mare.

MUSIC: Night Mare's loop changed to something more sinster and less elevator music.

R.E.P.O. - semiwork
Hey hey semibots!
Today’s video introduces the very first and important introduction of a HUMAN SURVIVOR, together with the final Q&A before THE MONSTER UPDATE launches next week on October 30th!

For those of you who’d like to read instead of watching the video, here are some important key questions:

Q: Which monster was the hardest to make?
A: This is kind of hard to answer. They all have their own challenges and things to solve.

Q: Will skins be added in this update?
A: Not in this update, but we are looking into it.

Q: Do you intend to put boss monsters in the game? Special monsters that appear every X levels.
A: Yes there has been talks about boss monsters, but nothing is set in stone.

Q: Will any monsters have special interactions with items or things that only the player can use?
A: Depending on what this question means, one of the upcoming monsters can interact with items in a way. So yes and no.

Q: What is your favorite monster in R.E.P.O.?
A: The majority of the people at Semiwork would say Headman, he was the first monster created, being in the game back when the R.E.P.O. project was known as “Clean”.

Q: Will older monsters get new updated abilities, like the Huntsman saying things to make players laugh.
A: We have no plans on changing the original monsters, they’re good as they are.

Q: Will you add cosmetics for monsters?
A: We haven’t thought about it, but it sounds like fun! So maybe.

Q: How do you make the sounds and voices for the monsters?
A: Robin is responsible for all sounds in the game. People in the office or friends sometimes make voices and then Robin tinkers with his sound magic.

Q: Will there be different monster variations, like a snow model for them in McJannek Station?
A: That would be really fun to do. We will put it on our very long “fun-to-do list”.

Q: Will you add equipment or upgrades that can only found on levels (not buyable in shop)
A: This is another one of those “would be fun to do”. This is a maybe, for now!

Q: Will there be new semibot expressions?
A: No, not in this update.

Bye bye!

Knock on the Coffin Lid - 80kgkotov
Knock-Knock!

As I promised, today I’ll talk about half-bloods, but first let’s briefly return to the subject of the previous entry to clarify certain things and answer some questions.

Where did all brotherhoods, cults and other hobby groups of Midian that you encounter (or don’t) in the game come from?

The Mite Cult

The Divine Mite is older than Midian itself, but it was sealed away in its den since the creation of the world—till better days. The Shoots partially freed the Mite, limiting its influence to the Boundless Bog. The Mite’s corruption changed the Boundless Bog and its inhabitants. Thus the Rotten Bog and the Mite Cult came to be.

The Divine Mite is not one of a kind. Similar dens exist in other parts of Midian, which means there are other cults out there that revere mysterious chthonic monsters.

As it’s easy to guess, the Mite Cult appeared during the 6th age called the Sprouting of the Shoots.

The Brotherhood of Fire

After the New Agreement (the 5th age), many humans became disappointed in the Gods and started to worship the Primordial Spirits and organised their own little clubs. The Brotherhood of Fire is the biggest and most influential of them.

The Fire Spirits are notoriously intolerant, which carried over to their followers, resulting in the following philosophy. Midian belongs to the Primordial Spirits, period. Demons, mites, all alien living and undead creatures have no right to exist. The unnatural must burn.

  • A lunar druid? Toss him into the fire!

  • A blood mage? Burn her just in case.

  • A lycan? Corrupted to the bone. The sa-mes will cleanse your impure mind.

A worshipper of the Supreme Gods? Fine, you can live for now. But your gods better not stick their noses into the matters of Midian.

Servants of Death (No One Likes Them)

Death is neither a deity, nor a demon, nor a spirit. It’s simply a given. It’s unknown who came up with the idea to revere that given, and when, but someone or something on the other side is undoubtedly reciprocating.

One can find a member of any race of Midian among the servants of Death. She doesn’t play favourites, either.

The reward for the service is turning into some kind of undead. The most talented and ardent ones become powerful liches. If a servant has done no wrong, but has brought no benefit either, then they face the fate of a ghoul—a resident of crypts and a pitiful scavenger. But woe betide anyone who heard the commands of the Mistress and refused to carry them out—they will be turned into a submissive wight, bound to their dwelling place.

Blood Mages

The most ancient community of mages who have been fascinated by the magical properties of blood since the primeval times. Elves find this fascination subversive, although blood magic easily combines with other powers of Midian. One can be a druid, a shaman, a priest, an acolyte of death and a blood mage at the same time. One can even be a mage of both fire and blood, but it’s not recommended.

In the game, you can only meet one servant of death and a couple of goblins who dabble in blood magic. You can also dabble in it yourself by putting on the crimson equipment set.

Lunar Druids

Some elves, on account of their incredible receptiveness, come into contact with so-called Spirits of the Stars. However, the archdruids fear that those entities have nothing to do with the Primordial Spirits, so any  unauthorized contacts are forbidden.

The elves who have dared to violate the ban of the Supreme Council, succumbed to the enticing whisper of the stars and entered their service becoming lunar druids.

Theoretically, the orc shamans also can communicate with the Spirits of the Stars, but they need very heady incense for that.

There’s only one lunar druid in the game, it’s Bjorn.

Others

There are plenty of them—for example the ice mages of the Northern Ridge, the sea worshippers of the coast, the imperial lords’ alliance. There’s no point in developing them yet because those locations don’t exist in the game.

Let’s move on to half-bloods (they do exist in the game).

Half-Bloods

In Midian, half-bloods are quite a rare sight because they lose almost all the traits of one of their parental races as soon as the second generation. Simply put, if an elf-human marries an elf, their children will be indistinguishable from elves.

An inquisitive reader might ask, who will the offspring of an elf-human and dwarf-orc resemble? To answer this tricky question, we will first need to figure out the fundamental principles of miscegenation in Midian.

1. Half-goblins (don’t exist)

Goblins can’t mix with the other races, plus they look like aliens from another planet, which raises suspicion if you’re familiar with the legend of the Guiding Star.

2. Half-orcs

Orcs can mix with others, but they don’t want to. They’re the strongest race in their eyes and they don’t want their kids to be weaklings. That doesn’t fully rule out the birth of a half-orc, but the probability is still low. Still, still… Male orcs can sometimes draw the attention of females from other races. And males from other races can sometimes draw the attention of female orcs.

3. Half-elves

Elven males differ too much from other races to draw their attention, but elven females on the other hand look like humans, have you noticed?

Interracial unions involving elven females are more common than others, so I’ll go into more detail about them.

Elf-humans are rarely accepted by elves, but are easily assimilated into human society. Their appearance resembles that of a human.

Elf-orcs look very much like orcs, but their skin colour is azure. That, again, raises suspicion if you’re familiar with the legends of the Guiding Star.

Elf-dwarves differ from other half-elves in that they look more like elves and prefer to associate with elves.

4. Half-dwarves

There’s a myth that no one has ever seen dwarf females, except dwarf males. In fact, if you were to see a female dwarf, you wouldn’t be able to tell her apart from her human counterpart. She will definitely be short-statured, and, most likely, stout, but never square-built or bearded.

Long story short, a human might marry a dwarf woman and only realize that when their sweet little son grows to about 2 meters tall and 2 meters wide. With a 90% probability he will become a berserker chief.

Elf-Human+Dwarf-Orc

Now that you know the fundamental principles of miscegenation, let’s return to the hypothetical question of our inquisitive reader.

While the elf-human would look more like a human and live among humans, the dwarf-orc would grow to be either a two-meter high berserker with a waist-length beard and fangs or a female tavern keeper who can stop a horse on the run and walk into a burning house. If such individuals form a romantic bond in a heterosexual relationship (which is possible), then I suggest that you imagine what their little ones might look like.

Closer to the Matter

Now let’s look for half-bloods in the game:

  • All the oversized dwarves have humans in their lineage.

  • The buff elf is actually a half-dwarf.

  • An azure orc? There is one. Try to find him (but you won’t succeed if you don’t have the add-on installed).

  • The Mite Queen is a one-quarter elf. Don’t tell that to the cultists, though, or they’ll figure out why mite brides don’t produce offspring.

I believe the topic has been fully explored, but if you have more questions, I’m at your service. Let’s continue our voyage across the vast expanses of Midian.

Campsite Hustle - Red Shore Games
Hey Campers! 🏕️

To everyone who played the demo during Steam Next Fest, shared feedback, posted videos, and reported bugs, thank you so much. Your input helped us squash issues quickly and understand which parts of the game you enjoy most. The next step is bringing this foundation to Early Access and delivering a much better experience.

🎯 Timeline and Transparency

There is still a lot we want to build. To ship a satisfying amount of content with the polish it deserves, we need a bit more time. We are moving our release window from Q4 2025 to Q1 2026. Because development can be unpredictable, we prefer not to promise a specific month and day until we are fully confident. Thank you for understanding.

🗺️ Roadmap

You can review our detailed plans on the Steam page and in the Roadmap channel on Discord. It is a good snapshot of where Campsite Hustle is headed long term.

🤝 Co-op Plans

A frequently asked question: will there be co-op or multiplayer?

At Early Access launch, the game will be single-player. We are working on co-op and aim to release it about 5–6 months after Early Access. Our priority is to nail the core experience first. We appreciate your patience and support.

🔧 Key Development Pillars
🏗️ Build Mode

Many of you found large builds cumbersome. We are introducing a more practical top-down build system, inspired by life-sim workflows, so you can design your campsite on a larger scale with more comfort and control.

🛍️ Two Playstyles

Campsite Hustle actually offers two distinct management paths.

  • Outdoor store: Set up, expand, customize, and sell close to a hundred items.

  • Camp management: Build campsites, bungalows, showers, toilets, food stands, and more.

The demo gave a small taste of both. In Early Access, these paths will diverge into deeper mechanics. You can focus on one or run both in parallel. We are especially expanding the camp side. Structures can get dirty or break down, and when maintained properly, facilities become passive income sources.

🤖 Automation and Workers

One of our core pillars in Early Access. As your income grows, you can delegate tasks to staff:
Cashiers, cleaners, security, medical staff, and stand vendors that sell automatically. As your operation scales, you can lean back and enjoy the nature.

🚚 Hauling and Vehicles

We love that you loved hauling. You will be able to purchase more vehicles with different capacities. After Early Access, we plan to add vehicle customization options too.

🪧 Signs and Store Customization

The current sign system is basic. We plan to add multiple sign types, 3D font options, and small decorative elements so you can craft the perfect sign for your vibe.
For stores, expect four size tiers, different materials, and interior–exterior color and finish options to make it truly yours.

These are only the highlights. We will keep sharing progress with visual dev updates on both Discord and Steam.

You can support us by joining the Discord, following the Steam page, and adding Campsite Hustle to your wishlist.

With gratitude,
Red Shore Games 🔥⛺
