Hello! Today, we continue to share the creations by Wasteland artisans with you. The previous part can be found here. This time, we’re talking with Oxy (high_on_oxy) and K1LLD0Z3R 04!
Q: Who are you, and what pulled you into making Crossout models/prints?
A: My Addiction for Crossout and the need for a miniature XO diorama in my life.
Q: Favourite cabin/weapon/module to build and why?
A: Metasurfer… whatever delivers pain and destruction. All-time fav is “Porcupine”!

[/carousel]Q: Which faction aesthetic do you like the most?
A: Steppenwolfs.
Q: What scale do you prefer (and why that scale)?
A: 1 block = 3.33mm. Designed them in 1 block = 1cm and printed in 1:3. The smaller, the better. Love minis!

[/carousel]Q: Describe your workflow in one line.
A: Photos, Blender, Fusion 360, printer, clean up model, paint, assemble.
Q: How do you go from in-game reference to a model (screenshots, measurements, block-out)?
A: Photos with block counter references and photos from 360° in a few deg steps.

[/carousel]Q: What software do you use? Any must-have plugins?
A: Blender, Fusion 360 for verification of the mesh and scale.
Q: Typical time/cost for a mid-size piece.
A: 6-8h work for a gun.
Q: Where can people see your models/builds?
A: Reddit. Won the prize last year for best user XO model.
Q: Advice for someone modelling/printing their first Crossout part this weekend.
A: Never give up! The road is worth it!
Q: What’s next on your bench?
A: A bigger walker build.

P.S. K1LLD0Z3R 04 spent 1.5 years creating this diorama!
Q: Who are you, and what pulled you into making Crossout models/prints?
A: Modelling started with a school project, I had chosen Crossout at that time because the grid system is convenient for making models that you can actually put together. A while ago, I worked on it with Xionite, but I didn't continue because I couldn't dedicate enough time to it.
Q: Favourite cabin/weapon/module to build and why?
A: Cockpit, booster, Flute ;)

Q: Which faction aesthetic do you like the most?
A: Founders.
Q: Describe your workflow in one line.
A: Oh ****, it’s 5 in the morning.

Q: How do you go from in-game reference to a model (screenshots, measurements, block-out)?
A: 2 screens in game, looking.
Q: What software do you use? Any must-have plugins?
A: SolidWorks.

Q: Where can people see your models/builds?
A: Reddit or on my Cults 3D.

That’s all for now. See you in the next part, in which we will continue to learn about the most talented artisans of the Wasteland. Create wonders of engineering and good luck in battles!
Added tools numbers to UI, missing controller icons, bug fixes.
Friends! 👋
A huge shout out to our writer Tadej Gregorcic for crafting such an incredible story and heartfelt experience.
The game was also nominated for Best Art Direction, recognizing the sweet, cartoony art style of our Urban Breznik.

None of this would mean much without the continuous support from you, dear friends. Thank you! 🤍
Stay tuned for a big feature announcement coming next month!
Much love,
- Team Elroy

War Thunder is turning 13 soon, and what better way to start the celebrations than to have in-game discounts for vehicles, modifications, backups and Premium Account time! Running low on useful consumables? Have you been dreaming of buying a certain vehicle and want to unlock its modifications quickly? Now’s the time to treat yourself!
When: From October 24th (11:00 GMT) until October 29th (11:00 GMT).
Where: In-game for all nations.
50% discount on vehicles for all nations for Silver Lions and Golden Eagles.
50% discount on all modifications, talismans and backups.
50% discount on a Premium Account in-game for 90 and 365 days and in the Gaijin store for 180 days.
Please note: Discounts do not apply to vehicles released in the Tusk Force and Leviathans major updates, as well as squadron vehicles and modifications, talismans, and backups for these vehicles.
This is far from all we have in store! Stay tuned, as War Thunder’s birthday celebrations are just getting started. There’s plenty of exciting things to look forward to!

Q: Is there a monster?
A: Aren’t we all monsters in our own way? From the perspective of a single bee, we’re basically eldritch gods.
But yes — there is a monster.
However, you won’t encounter it within the first 15 minutes, or even on your first run, depending on how you behave in the game.
Q: When do you plan the full release?
A: Ideally, around 9 months of Early Access. Realistically, the full release will likely be between May and September 2026.
The behavior-monitoring system needs real player data to improve. Personal life also influences development speed, so the timeline remains flexible.
Q: Will the price increase later?
A: Possibly. Some players assume the game is “just a gimmick” because of the low price, so increasing it might help set expectations.
However, the price will not exceed $5 USD at full release.
Q: Do you plan to add localization?
A: Yes, in the long term — but development comes first. Subtitle support is coming soon.
Later, text-only localization is planned for German, Spanish, French, Polish, and possibly Dutch.
Q: What if a player refuses to leave the isolation room?
A: That’s a valid approach. The game will still react to behavior within the room.
However, some secret endings require leaving.
There is no “never-leave” secret ending planned, but there is an achievement for staying in the room for over 1 hour.
Q: What is the game measuring? Do I need a camera?
A: No camera is required.
The game only measures in-game actions such as movement and input.
It does not track anything outside the game.
Camera-based emotional tracking could be interesting in the future, but it’s not part of the experience right now.
Q: When will the next update be, and how often will updates come?
A: The next update is planned for October.
I aim for one update per month. However, depending on feedback or technical needs, there may be additional smaller updates (for example, there were two quick updates after the Early Access launch).
Cheers!

I. Change Details

Hello, it has been a while since we've talked.
I saw there was good interest in Factorio and Factorio: Space Age for the new Nintendo Switch 2. Some players were asking about it even before the console itself was officially announced.
