Hey friends! We’ve gathered your questions from previous posts to answer them all at once
1️⃣ I really liked the demo, but the notes feel a bit secondary. Do you plan to improve them — maybe make them tell a parallel story, connect more with the gameplay, or hint at hidden areas? Or perhaps tie them more closely to the main plot?
Yes, we plan to expand this element in the future. In the demo, specifically in the Leprosarium, there’s already a storyline told through notes. We also plan to add new notes that reveal secret places and upcoming locations.
2️⃣ Are there any plans for open beta tests in the future, aside from the demo version?
We haven’t thought about that yet. In the near future, we’re planning a demo update with redesigned locations, new characters, and a boss fight.
3️⃣ Will the game feature one playable character or several?
At the moment, we’re planning only one playable character.
4️⃣ I played the demo and really liked the art style. I hope the game gets a warm reception — it looks like it’ll be an exciting adventure. With that in mind, I’d like to ask some basic things: what is your game about? What do you want to express or convey through it? Who do you think will enjoy it the most?
In this game, we want to present a new world set in a dieselpunk universe, where history took a different path, as well as tell the story of a protagonist who’s been through a lot. We’re not targeting any specific audience, but our experience at exhibitions has shown that the project mostly appeals to players aged 20–40.
5️⃣ Besides Valiant Hearts, what other games inspire you during development?
The Final Station, as well as various platformers and metroidvanias.

The game has received a mid-scale update, and the changes are as follows:
- Fixed an error where the spacebar did not work in the final chapter of Story Mode.
- Fixed an error where the rankings were not updating.
- The camera view and minimap have been widened.
- In Story Mode, Marilyn will now follow the path the player has taken.
- Expanded the mouse click detection (hitbox) when selecting abilities after leveling up.
- Added explanations for each score in the first column of the ranking score board.
- Added an upgrade refund (retrieve) feature.
- Added a feature that displays a pop-up description of an ability when hovering the mouse over it.
- Added ability names. (They appear when you hover the mouse over the ability!)
- You can now replay desired chapters after clearing Story Mode! (Click on Story Mode)
Farthest Frontier v1.0 is now available!

The game has officially left Early Access after 3 tremendous years of working with the community to make the game you want!
