Chronicles of Veldoria - A_Higher_Plane

Hey everyone! 👋

I’ve been working really hard on Chronicles of Veldoria lately and wanted to share a quick update. The story and main content are getting closer to completion, and I’ve been putting in extra effort to bring everything together. My goal is to finish the entire game’s story soon.

That said, I want to be transparent—I’m still not 100% sure if I’ll be able to finish everything, but I’m continuing to push forward and do my best. Even after completing the main story, I plan to spend some time making adjustments, refinements, and general polish to improve the overall experience.

A brand-new district has been added to the city!

Once unlocked, you’ll gain access to a new tavern located there which is about 50% larger than the previous biggest one an has a balcony with a beautiful view over a big landscape!

Mead production

To go along with the women, a new sweet drink has also been added.

Players can now collect honey from the beehive and process it into mead in a distillery. The distillery can be built inside your tavern, allowing you to craft delicious honey wine to serve to your guests.

General UI Improvements

The interface has received a general polish for a smoother and more immersive experience. Menus are clearer, interactions feel better, and overall tavern management is now more enjoyable.

Improved Lighting and Mug-Design

Visuals have been refined to make your tavern look cozier than ever. Lighting has been reworked to create a richer medieval atmosphere, and the design of the mugs has been improved. Several smaller graphical tweaks have also been made.

    • ‘External Cargo Load' makes HAI hook up cargo as it was in old task, but after hooking, HAI will continue its route set by the missionmaker so that it is the missionmaker’s responsibility to now limit altitudes and airspeed for such cargo delivery.

    • ‘External Cargo Unload' is an advanced waypoint action with trigger or script. It will make HAI fly towards the cargo drop zone and unhook cargo there (if HAI have any) after calling the task.

    • Some tuning was added to HAI control when it carries external cargo that includes yaw velocity and max AoB limitations when cargo weight is more than 10% of helicopter gross weight. Known Issue: Switching George AI Pilot’s altitude reference between radar and barometric when hovering at an altitude of 20 feet or less over the surface can cause a conversion error that will force George to land and may not be able to switch back to radar altitude. This has been fixed internally.
