Hello!
Our latest update in finishing the game is changing the, as we call them, “spaghetti animations”. The narrative of our game is accompanied by these abstract animations. They represent the magical-mechanical processes occurring within the circuits of our main character, the Guardian, as she struggles to regain the Light. At first, these animations were rendered in game in real time. Unfortunately, this proved to be tougher on the computation and the animations have occasionally encountered errors. That is why we have decided to create a video animation to make sure everything will be running without problems.

Hey there,
it's been five long years for this moment to happen. Pale Coins is finally here!
Thank you all so much for being part of this journey, and to you who still want to enjoy the game. Without your support, feedback and help, this would not have been possible,
Instead of listing all the news, there are way too many, let's take a look at some of the frequently asked questions.
Can I continue with my demo character?
Yes, and no. You may continue with your demo character, but keep in mind, that some quest triggers behave differently. My suggestion: stash the items you want to keep and start a new game.
Where can I stash my items?
You can deposit your items in the Eternal Realm. Follow the main quest for a while and you'll ultimately find the chests.
Is there a level cap like in the demo?
In the final release, the level cap is raised drastically. It's currently set around level 200.
What is the estimated game length?
Somewhere around 8h - 10h per playthrough, depending on your play style and the build you end up with.
What game modes are there?
The standard game mode, which is followed by a new game plus for a more difficult challenge. Also, you have the option to start a hardcore run. If all of that is too easy, you have the option to start a custom challenge mode, where you'll be able to pick from a bunch of different curses to get a real challenge.
If you're interested in something completely different, give the Bingo mode or the Endless Tower mode a try.
In case you have questions or feedback, feel free to let me know! :)
Also, please consider joining Discord to get any news as soon as possible.

To start with, we’ll be adding two new crafting mechanisms: benches and machines. The benches will require your time for crafting, while the machines will be able to craft in the background as you go about your day.
There will be two initial benches: the cooking bench and the carpentry bench. Right now you can cook food at the cooking bench and process materials and build machines at the carpentry bench.
In each bench you will find recipes according to 5 different badge levels: novice, apprentice, adept, expert, master. The more you craft recipes from a lower level, the more experience you will gain to reach the next badge level. Some recipes will come with the benches themselves, while some will need to be purchased or found.
Default cooking bench recipes will be: Toast (novice), Trail Mix (novice), Peeled Grapes (novice), Boiled Egg (apprentice), Cheese and Crackers (apprentice), and Bread (apprentice).
Default carpentry bench recipes will be: Composter (novice), Carpentry Bench (apprentice), Oak Barrel (apprentice), Mash’n’Heater (adept), Tokenizer (adept), Tumble Temper (adept), Loom’n’Spinner (adept, Smelt’n’Form (adept), Mix’n’Still (adept), Large Oak Barrel (expert), and Giant Oak Barrel (Master).
