Engine Core Updates
In today’s update, we are launching a number of engine changes that we have been working on for several months. In order to modernize the game, we began the process of overhauling the engine core to include, amongst other things, proper multithreading, increased UI performance as well as DX12 support (which is currently unavailable to public, awaiting further testing).
However, despite our best efforts, given the extent of the game’s core updates, there is a certain risk of unpredictable behavior on some configurations, such various UI-related bugs. We’d like to ask you to please inform us of any new issues you may encounter by submitting a support ticket and attaching your logs to it (logs can be obtained in the Launcher, Settings window). Submitting a ticket to Support is critical to our efforts as any other means of reports (for example, Discord) come with a risk of your feedback being lost or overlooked. We thank for all your help in advance.
Skins for Gold
In this update we are adding the option to buy most skins in the game directly for Gold. Skins can be purchased in the Customization window by simply clicking on them in the upper left corner and selecting the purchase option.
The vast majority of skins are available this way. Skins that are excluded from this are:
Recent skins (for example the Schweppermann skin or the current Battle Path skins)
Exclusive skins (for example those advertised as exclusive to Battle Path early access bundles or from limited events)

Fixed an issue where switching from the queue to the Customization window caused the game to crash
Fixed an issue where the Special Operation Hero mission for battalion players could not be completed
Fixed the hitpoint reduction of Joshua Seagrove’s main skill from 28% to the intended 25%
Fixed an issue where switching between allies in the observer mode showed black screen instead
Dear Metas,
From October 10th to October 16th, Once Human banned a total of 331 Players. This includes 319 players penalized for cheating, 61 accounts suspended for alt-account exploitation and linked violations, 37 players penalized for malicious interference.
We've been receiving ongoing reports from Metas about cheating behavior, and we've been verifying and acting on them as quickly as possible. We understand how much these violations can negatively affect the experience of honest players. To improve the in-game environment, we're currently focusing on the following measures:
1. Raising the cost and difficulty of using alternate accounts to cheat.
2. Improving detection and prevention for common hacks, including flying, wall clipping, teleportation, auto-aim, wallhacks, and AoE DMG exploits, so we can stop and punish violations more effectively.
3. Introducing compensation mechanisms to help make up for the negative experience caused by cheating.
These improvements are being rolled out in phases and will be completed in the near future. We appreciate your patience and support. If you come across any violations in-game, please report them through the official reporting channel. We will review and address unfair behavior as quickly as possible. Let's work together to maintain a fair and healthy game environment and combat malicious actions. Thank you for your understanding and support!

1. Language violations
From October 10th to October 16th, 2025, a total of 278 players received bans of varying durations for language violations:
30 days — 18 players
7 days — 11 players
1 day — 182 players
2 hours — 67 players
(Due to space limitations, we do not provide the list of players banned for speech violations.)
We've been paying close attention to feedback regarding the chat restriction system and have launched a focused optimization effort. Improvements include upgraded smart filtering to reduce false positives and better manual review processes for more accurate judgment. We'll continue refining this system to make communication smoother.

We present you a list of changes included in today's update:
The "Veles Night" event is now live! Take part in the fight against the Zone's mystical manifestations and earn valuable rewards!
— The event will last from 21.10.25 to 18.11.25.
— During the event, you will be able to find the "Dead Apple" item:
With a certain chance when butchering or searching animals and mutants;
Guaranteed when butchering or searching special "Ghostly creatures";
As a reward for the "Totems" open-world event;
As a reward for participating in the "Mutant Shabash" PvP mode.
— Dead Apples can be exchanged for valuable rewards with Priest (square E6-4) in Liubech Outskirts. The exchange becomes available once you have at least one Apple in your inventory.
— Also, Dead Apples can now be consumed as food. The positive effects gained in this way are not removed upon death.
Seasonal open world event “Totems”:
– The event begins exactly at 00:00 in-game time, once per in-game day.
– During the event, players must defend a totem from waves of advancing animals and mutants. The difficulty of the event and the number of Dead Apples earned depend on the location.
– Totems can be found near the following major settlements:
Liubech Outskirts – Gourmet’s Village;
Airport – "Konukovo" Airport;
Vesuvius – Radio Tower;
Tunguska – “Radius” Village;
Black Forest – Usov;
New Land, Northern Is. – Severny-1 Village.
Seasonal PvP mode “Mutant Shabash”:
– Registration for the event is done through the Bulletin Board, in the appropriate tab.
– Players can earn Dead Apples for participating in the event. Winning the mode does not add PvP ranking on the leaderboard.
PvP Season 18 starts on 25.10.25 and will last until 27.12.25.
