First things first, Chumps Chained is a couch co-op platforming adventure where you step into the shoes of Walter and Jellybean, two scam artist best friends who are cursed by an evil wizard to be permanently chained together. To undo the spell, the duo must traverse via platforming while persevering through the chaos the wizard has left in his trail.
The Chumps Chained team is a student-led group working in collaboration with MonRiverGames to help bring our ideas to life. As our first project, every step we take is an exciting, new experience that we look forward to sharing with all of you. Because we are student-led, every wishlist makes a huge difference and helps us know we are doing things right!
Currently, we are hard at work on LEVEL THREE. This new level features interior platforming and a new type of hazard.
BUILD-A-WORKERS are the building blocks of our warehouse setting. Being dropped into this world as corporate slaves, they’re not too happy about your presence. Hence, they slap you around.
While we want to get this game in your hands as soon as possible, we still have a lot of work ahead of us. What we can say is that at some point in the future, we’d love to have a closed beta to give you a chance to play and give us your feedback. So keep your eyes peeled for that.
Our team is hard at work, so expect more updates and announcements in the near future!!

I'm very sorry. The previous version's numerical design was unreasonable, and the game progress was very slow. Therefore, many numerical values have been adjusted.
After testing, this version may corrupt the save files. If you are very concerned about this, you can use cheats to manually modify the values yourself.😂

The patch will include:
New god to Worship;
New types of cult buildings
New module;
New individual god kits to make your Worshipping experience feel more unique
A reworked save system feature.

After playtest, we realized that these creatures were more than just cute stuffed plushies. They are brighter, more dynamic, and far more chaotic than we thought.
That's how GRIMPS was born — a distorted word combining grim and imps. Small, dark creatures that live by their own rules and bring a little more madness than common sense allows.

Hello Operator, some bugfixes are now live on the Demo. I'd like to thank you for your encouragement and feedback so far! Let me know if any issues persist.
Continuing the game from the Menu after day 1 should now take you to the Diary.
Menu: The "Replay Day" buttons now bring you to the cutscene at the start of the day, which you can skip immediately to return to the game.
Gameplay: Gameplay startup now more reliable.
Audio/Visual: Tweaked menu graphics.
Audio/Visual: Replaced minor detail models.
Menu: Clicking "Play Demo" after completing Day 1 now takes the player to Diary screen.
The changes listed here are the most consequential to your playing experience, but as you can imagine, some more complicated adjustments were made to the inner workings of the game. Party on top, business on the bottom. There's always a chance these lower-level changes cause a new issue in the game that my tests didn't spot.
