1. sometimes the skip button in the tutorial wouldn´t destroy after the gunshop introduction scene.

2. some interaction pop ups were in english even if you selected portuguese.

3. If you bought the smg and grabbed it in the locker you would unlock the revolver right away.

4. after the timer ran out if the power was out already it would play the fuse box event again.

first patch after next fest! thank you all so much for all the love last week, it really made a difference :) (we also got to 20k wishlists!!!) 

expect some news next week in the monthly development update post, but for now, here's a couple of fixes and changes, happy gambling!

changes:

- changed d7 description to make clearer its difference from psychodie 

- changed psychodie description too

fixes:

- 2-faced coin didn't unlock by default

- you couldn't check info menu on dice spawned from a chest

- round reward dice/rings didn't always display all their info properly on their description

- active rings icon didn't display on their descriptions

- charged dice would get their description doubled sometimes

Troubleshooting
Black Screen on Launch (via Steam):​​

Possible GPU or save file issue. Try:

① Update GPU drivers

③ Backup & reset saves: Copy contents of savesfolder elsewhere → Delete original savesfolder → Paste back

Cannot Extract in Tutorial:​​

FPS Drops/Visual Issues:​​

Space War Economy Idle - Mike

I'm happy to announce that release sold more units than expected! As such, I've extended the roadmap a little bit.

Bugs will still take #1 priority, please remember to report them if you encounter them on the Google Form link in the Options menu.

Patch 1.1

One of the biggest issues with Path of Exile is how challenging it is to change your build and strategy late into it. Third party tools like Path of Building and CraftOfExile exist due to how complex the game can be to predict whether what you have is viable.

Space War Economy Idle is meant for a casual audience. As such, I'm actively working on a simulator that exists outside the game and accessible from the main menu for you to test out builds and fleet ideas.

The balance of Space War Economy Idle is kind of iffy right now. In my playthroughs I've found that certain combinations of weapons, modifiers, don't have a distinct enough identity. I will be using the Simulator myself to put out balance changes in the upcoming weeks.

Patch 1.1 will most likely drop October 27th!

Patch 1.2 and beyond

I think I have enough bandwidth for two more ideas, but they're not fleshed out.

  • Endless battling and leaderboards seems like a natural extension of the simulator

  • The production pipeline results in items, but it is not yet complete, as there isn't an automated way to really craft super high end items. I think I have a solution for that

No promises, just know I am actively working on these ideas while I work on Patch 1.1

C4: Classical Caliber Combat Contest - onedeadeye

Thank you to everyone who commented on the trailers and posts, played the Demo, or joined the Discord! Without your feedback, C4 would never become the best version of itself. Secret Handshake team members met and interacted with players who were more passionate about our vision for C4 than we could have imagined! Please know your enthusiasm for the game is what gets the team to put in the long hours that carry us to release.

The C4 Multiplayer Demo has been updated to a static version with a fixed set of game content and limited multiplayer features. It will remain in this state up to Q4 release and beyond. We wish we could have left Quickplay and the Server Browser on, but maintaining one online game is already a huge workload for three people.

What's next?

The team is barreling towards release later this year! We are wrapping up the last bits of game content, polishing features, and squashing bugs. Additionally, we are continuing to collect and study feedback for last minute changes and additions we can squeeze in before version 1.0.
