Hello everyone,
We’ve deployed a new hotfix to address several issues affecting lobbies and game creation. These fixes aim to improve the overall stability of the game and reduce cases of infinite loading.

Fixes
  • Fixed an issue that could cause infinite loading in the lobby.

  • Fixed a bug related to game creation and hosting, which could result in ghost sessions.

Additions
  • Added new alert messages in case of an error during lobby creation.

  • Added an automatic warning when a player’s performance is too low, to help identify potential issues.

Follow-up and Recommendations
  • We’ve identified a potential issue during game creation, when the server loads after the clients. Until a full fix is implemented, we recommend choosing as host the player with the best configuration to ensure a more stable experience.

  • We’re continuing to optimize loading times and improve network stability to minimize any risk of packet loss.

Thank you to everyone who continues to send us feedback and bug reports. Your help is invaluable in allowing us to improve the game quickly and efficiently.

Trading has gone to mobile, where you can access your funds right from your own pocket! Unfortunately for you, a decent WiFi provider is not in the company budget... All computers are disabled, as you need to find that good WiFi zone to trade!

Number Crushing -
OST 021 - Number Crushing has been added to the original soundtrack & mixtape.


Fixes:
Turrets once again swivel correctly, rather than "jumping" to a random position when first activated after a long time.

Removed the ability to use the terminals to exploit the tutorial sequence.

Removed random black bars from appearing in the tutorial.

Added an apostrophe to "Someone(')s Desk" in the tutorial.

Hey everyone,

We’ve updated the game’s Unity version from 2022.3.24f1 to 2022.3.62f2, which includes important security fixes from Unity. This update was necessary due to a recent Unity vulnerability, and getting everything working again was quite a challenge since we’re already pretty far into development.

Huge thanks to everyone for your patience and support during this process, it really means a lot.

We’ll also be rolling out a solid demo patch for Steam Next Fest, with improvements and refinements based on community feedback.

If you notice any new issues or bugs, please don’t hesitate to report them on Steam Community page or on Discord.

On top of that, progress on the full game is going really well! We still can’t give an exact release date yet, but things are moving forward steadily.

Engine Eternal - absolutelycookage

Hey everyone.

This is just a quick and honest announcement to say that Engine Eternal will no longer be receiving support. The game will continue to function because it uses Steam's networking so no worries there but we aren't going to continue work on the game. This is partially because Engine Eternal wasn't that successful and so we frankly wouldn't get a lot out of continuing to put time into it, but mostly due to the fact that we just want to move on to other projects. We think that clarity and transparency is really important in situations like that, and even though there aren't a lot of people that played Engine Eternal, we just want to make it clear to anyone that enjoyed in the game in the past, or anyone that might consider buying it in the future, that what you pay for is definitively what you will get as there won't be anything new.

We really appreciate everyone that bought and enjoyed the game. It was a really fun project to work on and it was really gratifying to watch people play it.
