Airships: Conquer the Skies - Zarkonnen
  • Fixed a major cause of desyncs!
  • Game setup now remembers hero and incident settings.
  • Guardian sprites summoned by heroes now go home again after a while.
  • You no longer get incidents that can spawn heroes when heroes are turned off.
  • Saved games that use Cataclystic Expansion are now loadable. (I made the game ignore the bit of bad data in the expansion that was causing the problem.)
  • Surplus guards now distribute themselves across all modules that need guarding, rather than sitting in their barracks.
  • Increased mechanical tentacle length by 40%.
  • Modding: ground troops set to shoot airships now do so consistently.

  • Added an item details display that appears when items on the ground can be picked up.

  • Picking up and inspecting items now requires more direct facing to prevent the details panel from opening during combat. Slightly increased the interaction range to compensate.

  • Added a crosshair popup when an item can't be picked up due to insufficient space.

  • Added a button to sort the depot inventory.

  • Added a % durability remaining bar to shield item panels. This will supersede ammo remaining for weaponized shields.

  • Added additional logging and consistency checks to help track down causes of desync.

  • Adjusted the HP bar to have slightly more contrast.

Fixes

  • Fixed Black Market sell costs being reduced by the project that reduces purchase costs.

  • Fixed the TB03GR Jesten not properly replicating the grappling effect for other players in a multiplayer session.

  • Fixed the auto extract and testing grounds exit tooltip showing the wrong keybind on controller.

  • Fixed being unable to sell smuggled cargo after loading a save even if it was acquired originally in a different region.

Hey folks, just a small update with some general fixes and visual tweaks. A bigger gameplay update is coming soon that will include sidescrolling platformer gameplay minigames as a major part of the game!

Updates:
• Removed a lot of transparent objects, materials and shaders, to improve graphical performance. Gave some of these new materials night-time variations to better suit cosmic levels
• Fixed bug where some objects couldn’t find avatar’s rigid body during a gravity-rotation
• Starburst-objectives window can now be optionally exited with back button
• Tightened up the general status UI (eg "You recovered your feet" etc) for a cleaner look, and fixed some issues of text overflowing beyond the window
• Shaders now preload to prevent stutters during gameplay
• Fixed bug where standing on certain ground-bricks in the overworld could prevent you from jumping

Changes:

Added background music for the menus

Added various volume sliders in the settings menu

Removed presets from the training map

Disconnected gunner rotation from car rotation

Added a shotgun weapon for the gunner's boot position

Training leaderboard now updates in-level periodically

Made drifts easier to get out of and control

Made gunner seat switching absolute rather than relative

Fixes:

Reduced volume of some sounds that were too loud

Fixed some stability issues on Cat & Mouse, especially on new rounds

Made Cat & Mouse flares' hitboxes more closely match their visuals

Fixed bug that caused the machine gun to get stuck firing when switching seats

  • When there are a large number of brush textures, it has been improved so that switching brushes while the brush editing dialog is displayed does not take long.

  • Optimized the operation of the brush editing dialog (when using the new brush engine).
