Hey! Thanks to everyone who has played the demo so far. I'm so pleased with the feedback and it's really helped hone my ideas about how this game should look and play.

Because of that, I have a bit of a new focus for the gameplay: I'm hoping to test some new ideas to make the game a bit friendlier and more streamlined, without losing any of the depth that people have enjoyed so far.

As we exit this busy promotional period, I think this will probably be the last "feature" update for a while, though of course I will fix any bugs that come up. With my focus off marketing, I'll be working hard on the game content and new mechanics to get it ready for the planned release by Q2 2026.

Features:
  • Locations now have one or more categories attached. When choosing the “inconsistent action” inconsistency, you have to select a correct category. For example, “You can’t have sang karaoke at the Dai-ichi Sogokan, because it’s a commercial office building.”

Bug fixes:
  • Fix bug where game would continue past Week 2 but with no content, causing soft lock.

  • Add a “Then”, so clunky text like “I walked for 5 minutes. I walked for 5 minutes.” is now slightly less-clunky “I walked for 5 minutes. Then, I walked for 5 minutes”.

  • Fix bug where “Explore” phase would start on map screen if player had previously accessed Free Roam mode.

  • Fixed rare bug where a twisted journey > 3 hours might cause a crash.

Dear Warlords,

Happy weekend! Regarding the issue where the [Empire Chariot] cannot be forcibly dismounted after the [Instability Value] is full, we have identified the cause. We sincerely apologize for the impact this has had on your gaming experience!

After investigation, the reason that the character driving the Empire Chariot cannot be knocked off after the [Instability Value] is full is due to "information desynchronization when obtaining the character's coordinate position."

The development team has located the bug and is urgently working on a fix. This requires some patch development time and is expected to be officially released in the update on Thursday, October 23rd. We will keep you informed of the exact progress in a timely manner.

We plan to temporarily suspend the use of the [Empire Chariot] unit in [Siege Battles] and [Ranked Battles] until the patch is completed and the feature is restored.

If you notice any new abnormalities, please report them through the community feedback thread or customer service channels. We apologize again for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding and support!

I've just rolled out version 0.3.12, which should fix the infamous "Endless Loading" screen. At least in most cases. I'm pretty confident there's still another cause out there, but this update should tackle the main one.

Since yesterday, I asked a few people to test the fix in the beta branch, and they confirmed it worked. Big kudos to ❤ 𝒜𝓀𝒾 ❤, Perturbator, and szederpg for the quick help!

However, some players are still experiencing the issue. If you still can't get past the Loading screen after updating, please send me this log file

Dear Players,

Thank you for reporting bugs you found - we just released a hot fix that addresses the following:

1) Cards

  • Read is back (Kuro) - the Sun upgraded version now deals damage as intended

  • Hunting Time (Kuro) - it can now be properly upgraded at the vendor

  • Cut it out (Kuro) - it can now be properly upgraded at the vendor

2) Fixed bug where choosing an upgraded card after a fight would give a non-upgraded version instead

We also saw a report that the issue with the DD from the previous hotfix did not take effect - we couldn't replicate that, but if someone else still experiences this issue after updating the game, please let us know.

Just adding a small patch to make your life easier in the forest.

Changes:

  • Extraction portals now deal only 1 damage if you stand near them when they open (used to kill you instantly)

  • Touching the Extraction sphere while it's activating now deals only 1 damage (instead of 10)

  • Default inventory/objectives button is now \[ I ] (can be changed in Settings)
