  • The layouts menu has been updated to adhere to UI 3.0.

    Layouts are now selected from a dropdown, which will in the future allow me to let the user name layouts, as well as have as many layouts as you want to have.

    I have made the decision to withhold updating the back-end of layouts for now. This will come at a later date, as I really want to focus on getting UI 3.0 done.

  • Added a favorite button to the layout toolbar. This is currently a placeholder, but will let you set your favorite layout to be loaded on startup, instead of using layout slot 8.

  • Minor adjustments have been made to how the wrist and it's various components are positioned in various UI states.

  • Added API Hooks for loading, clearing, saving, and favorite a layout slot.

Bug Fixes
  • Various bugs have been fixed relating to crashing, and general instability.

  • Fixed an issue where the performance monitor would be extremely likely to grab an integrated GPU instead of the primary GPU.

  • Fixed an issue where the overlay would display a white square for UI panels on occasion. (I think.)

Known Issues: 

With some of the settings changes, it has inadvertently affected some of the visuals. Notably the ground can be shiny and some leaves “Sparkle” very hard. These will be fixed in an upcoming patch.

In this post, we would like to inform you about errors that have been identified in Unbrilliant Glory Gregor's effects and descriptions.

We sincerely apologize for this ability & description error.

[Changes]

▶ An issue where "Man in Scabbard" gain conditional "Gain X Man in Scabbard for every Y HP/Shield HP damage taken from getting hit" activated whenever this unit took enough HP/Shield HP damage regardless of whether this unit was hit or not
- Issue: Despite the description, "Man in Scabbard" can be gained from any damage to HP/Shield HP, even when this unit was not hit
- Solution: Remove the "from getting hit" conditional (applied with Oct. 2nd Scheduled Update)
※ New Descriptions:
- Gain 1 for every 3 HP damage taken
- Gain 1 for every 5 Shield HP damage taken

※ So far, whenever an Identity or E.G.O ability error was identified, it was generally our direction to adjust the ability to fit the description,
because the descriptions are what players reference before acquiring Identities & E.G.O; changing the description after the fact would remove that expectation and risk causing further confusion.

However, if we were to change the ability to fit the description (so that Man in Scabbard is gained only when Gregor is hit, as opposed to whenever he takes enough damage), it would lower the E.G.O ramp-up speed in certain conditions, possibly making this E.G.O feel worse to use than it is now.

Therefore, considering the unique circumstances of this being a Collaboration Limited Extraction E.G.O, and considering that some managers may have extracted this E.G.O based on the expectation that its current behavior will not be changed,
we would like to make an exception this time, choosing to maintain its abilities as-is and instead adjusting the description to fit its current behavior(by removing the "from getting hit" conditional).

This judgment was also based on the fact that the buff in question already has a per-turn cap;
therefore, while this would make it easier to stack the buff effect, it would be okay to maintain its abilities as-is.



Another reason is that this was a Limited Collaboration Extraction, which means that it would be a particularly significant and sensitive subject for managers who have extracted.
Considering all of the above, we decided to make an exception this time and change the description to match the ability.

We once again sincerely apologize for the confusion and inconvenience this error caused to all managers who have acquired Unbrilliant Glory Gregor.


<Cause>
1. Differences in internal interpretation of what exactly "getting hit" means
The description was designed with the following conditional in mind: "when this unit takes damage from getting hit by a Skill". However, in the process of implementing and testing the ability, this phrase was interpreted to mean "when this unit takes damage from any source".

<Future Measures>
We will renew our internal guideline on in-game phrases and create a checklist for the QA process to assist in the testing phase.
Also, we will improve our development process by holding internal meetings to ensure that all of these definitions are consistently understood and applied throughout the design, implementation, and testing phases.

▶ An issue where, among the Awakening Skill's effects, "[After Attack] Heal 5 SP for every target that was Staggered or killed due to this Skill's damage (max 25)" only detected a single target at the "After Attack" activation timing
