Parking Simulator - Perseverance Games

Hello, I have made some changes to the newest version of the demo:

  • (MOST WANTED) Added Settings for Parking Sensor Sound (change sound, enable/disable, change volume, pitch)

  • (Quality of Life) Added Graphic Settings

  • (Quality of Life) Added Parking Sensor indicator on HUD

  • In-Vehicle Camera turning angle enlarged: Now you can turn your head to look at the rear of the vehicle

  • The Parking Complete Confirmation Screen will not block the whole screen

  • Moved Hint / Information Message Box to the side

  • Removed Start Game prompt

Scrongly - Silver Dubloons
  • Added controller support, with a menu to select a glyph set and controller deadzone

  • Added a new menu to allow disabling of showing different kinds of tooltips

Ah, so I have a demo that works. BUT! If you get win the first challenge the demo is about 5 minutes total and there is no way to go back to the start of the level so unfortunately not only would you need to make a whole new character and go through the intro to unlock each path you don't even get to see the character you created which quite frankly may be a common theme in the demo but don't worry you'll see plenty of your loser in the the final release (the character creator may be sort of new don't yell at me) . . but I am hoping to have 3+ challenges and at least a solid 15-20 minutes of demo ready for the by the 13th for when next fest actually starts. So unless if something horrible happens between now and the 13th I will see you then.

Intruder - rob

Finally figured out a reason for the occasional player join freezes and it had to do with smoke grenades physics simulations. That is fixed now! So:

  1. Player join freeze fix, for real this time

  2. Banana's not affecting players inconsistency fixed

  3. CS gas syncing on player join fixed

G’day Scrappers!
A quick hotfix has just been rolled out to smooth out a few rough edges and improve the v0.40 experience!




🔧 What’s Fixed
  • Fixed a bug where the game could occasionally freeze when starting a new game or tutorial.
  • Fixed a bug where days advanced an extra day after sleeping.
  • Fixed a bug where inventory values didn’t update when opening it by clicking the bag.
  • Fixed a bug where all scrap yard metal prices displayed as iron price.
  • Tutorial tip boxes under the main task can now be clicked through, making it easier to close UIs behind them.




Patch 2;
  • Trolley Interaction Improved: The trolley now has a small cooldown before unlocking attached items when released, preventing items from being affected as it snaps back to its upright position.
  • First Delivery Fixed: The first delivery will no longer be destroyed due to corrupt data after saving and loading.
  • 16% Save Crash Bug Squashed: That pesky crash during saving at 16% is officially gone.
  • Garage Lighting improvement: The light tubes in the garage now emit light through their materials: yellow by default, or white/blue with the light upgrade. Making the lights look a lot more realistic.
  • Real-Time Player Logs Added:
  • - The “Generate Player Logs” button can now generate Logs in real-time.
  • - A temporary RealTimeLiveLogs.txt file is created on startup to actively write logs immediately as events occur, making it easier to quickly report bugs without exiting the game.
  • - All produced logs are removed upon exit to prevent bloating, and Unity still generates the usual Player.log afterward anyway.
  • - Perfect for catching issues the moment they happen.

I got another patch for you all. Here be the notes:
  • Halved the threshold for the golden trashcan in the statistics screen (I set it unreasonably high compared to all the other objects)
  • Fixed a crash with the golden mallet back
  • Hopefully fixed a crash when parts break at a certain point
