Sony and Housemarque's sci-fantasy shooter Saros got its first proper gameplay trailer at PlayStation's latest State of Play this evening. If you were hoping for more Returnal, then pour yourself a huge brimming flagon of victory mead, for this is basically Returnal plus a gruff male lead, a sunnier shape-shifting wasteland, and a force shield that converts attacks into juice for your biggest guns.
After four whole years of silence, PlayStation and Insomniac have very graciously offered up a new trailer for Marvel's Wolverine. With gameplay no less! Horrifically gruesome, violent, and bloody gameplay that is so intense you should probably give it 15 minutes or so if you've just had your supper.
Zero Parades is, if you ask its creators ZA/UM, a lot of things. It is an espionage CRPG. It is a character study of Hershel Wilk, the burnt-out, fallen-from-grace spook you’ll be playing as. It is, as I’m told before being shown some very early footage of the game in motion, "a story about failure, and about crippling regret."
It’s also, quite nakedly, a Disco Elysium successor, perhaps the most overtly Disco-y in what’s set to become a bizarrely crowded field. Some will like that, I imagine. But it’s odd to see Zero Parades cling to the past, while so explicitly asking you to confront it.
Update: As suspected, Sony have confirmed the leaked PS5 release date in their latest State of Play. Koei Tecmo have elsewhere announced that it's coming to PC on the same day.

Whoops, action RPG Nioh 3's release date has reportedly leaked via some swiftly pulled Amazon Japan listings. The apparent leak, which precedes a PlayStation State of Play showcase set for later today (September 24th), has also laid bare some deets as to what the game's swankier Treasure Box Edition includes.
