  • The "Toy Challenge: Ultar Can Mania" event will officially launch on September 18th, featuring a grand giveaway of Ultra Cans! Complete challenges to earn the exclusive Headdress HD Glasses, Ultra Can x5, Basic Sticker Pack x3, Rising Tempest - Sticker Pack x3, and  Rising Tempest - Decoration Pack x1.

  • New cards available for Prop Hunt on September 18th:

    • Archer: You and your teammates can transform into archers.

    • Demon Eyes: Deal high damage over time to enemies in your field of view.

    • Decoy Lancer: You can transform into a Lancer that only deals melee damage.

    • Toy Awakening: The toy monkeys on the map become agitated and start patrolling.

    • Parting Explosion: \[Death rattles]: Explode.

    • Piercing Bullet: \[Bullets] can go through walls once.

Changelog September 17th

Poll 85 Batch 2
  • Players can now repair the broken bridge near Fenkenstrain's Mausoleum, creating a new shortcut to the island. You will need level 59 Construction with 12 teak planks and 56 nails. 69 Agility is required to cross the bridge afterwards. Note, you'll need to repair both sides of the bridge before you can safely cross it.
  • The number of Fremennik Sea Boot teleports now scales by tier: 1 → 3 → 5 → Unlimited (Easy → Medium → Hard → Elite)
  • Shops on desktop now include the same quantity buttons as Mobile, letting you set and left-click to buy your chosen amount.
  • After completing Waterfall Quest and the Kandarin Medium Diary, permanent ropes are now in place at Baxtorian Falls for easy dungeon access.
  • The Harmony Island herb patch is now permanently disease-free for guaranteed healthy herbs.
  • All Hunter Experts can now give you a one-time free Hunter Kit (across all experts) to help you get started.

Client and Mobile Updates
  • Mobile players can now optionally display a mobile icon by their character in the minimenu, helping others understand why you may be less responsive. The icon remains hidden in PvP areas like the Wilderness and Ferox Enclave.
  • Fixed visual flickering in various locations and NPCs when using the new renderer beta.
  • Fixed a bug where the 'Limit FPS' setting would be ignored when the game is out of focus (Desktop Official Client)
  • The Official Client’s AFK logout timer can now be set up to 30 minutes.
  • Fixed an issue on mobile which caused private chat messages and system messages to overlap the chat stone UI.
Other Changes
  • Hallowed Sepulchre chests now correctly drop stackable clue scrolls if you haven’t reached your clue cap.
  • Impling jars now only show the warning that prevents you from opening the jar if you already have a clue or scrollbox of that type on you and you’ve reached your stackable clue cap. Note, the other warning, which appears when you would receive a clue but don’t have one on you, remains unchanged.
  • Fixed a bug where Slayer masters weren’t respecting the 'Ignore Combat Level' setting, which could stop players from receiving tasks they were otherwise eligible for.
  • Fixed a bug where Slayer masters wouldn’t provide tips for Jad and Zuk tasks, leaving the advice dialogue blank.
  • Some typos have been fixed in clan broadcasts.

The PvP rota has moved to Period A:

Poll 85

More Poll 85 has arrived this week, introducing a batch of changes aimed at making your gameplay feel a bit nicer. Let's take a look at them!

Bridge Over Less Troubled Waters

Tired of that pesky broken bridge near Fenkenstrain’s Mausoleum mocking you? Well, now you can actually repair it! All it takes is 59 Construction, 12 teak planks, and 56 nails. Once built, the shortcut requires 69 Agility to cross. This should make trips to and from the area far more convenient. Be warned, though - you'll find you need to repair both sides of the bridge before you can safely cross it.

Fremennik Sea Boots

The teleports on the Fremennik Sea Boots now scale by Diary tier, making them more useful the further you progress. Teleports are now:
  • Tier 1 (Easy): 1 teleport per day
  • Tier 2 (Medium): 3 teleports per day
  • Tier 3 (Hard): 5 teleports per day
  • Tier 4 (Elite): Unlimited teleports

Desktop Shops Match Mobile

Shops on desktop now include the same quantity buttons that mobile players have enjoyed for some time. These let you set a preferred purchase or sell amount, and then buy or sell that amount with a single left-click. This should make shopping and skilling supplies much faster.

The Ropes are on Baxtorian Falls

Once you’ve completed both Waterfall Quest and the Kandarin Medium Diary, ropes will now be permanently secured at Baxtorian Falls. That means no more realising (after sprinting all the way there with 0 run energy left) that you left your rope in the bank, only to drift helplessly downstream in a puddle of soggy shame.

Harmony Island Herb Patch

The herb patch on Harmony Island is now permanently free from disease. Any herbs planted there are guaranteed to remain healthy until harvest, providing a reliable location for your herb runs.

Hunter Starter Pack

All Hunter Experts across Gielinor can now provide players with a one-time free Hunter Kit. This should make getting started with the skill a little easier, particularly for newer players looking to try out different Hunter tools. This applies across all experts.

Client and Mobile Updates

Mobile players can now choose to display a mobile icon next to their character in the minimenu. It’s a handy way to let others know you might be a little slower to type back - though don’t worry, the icon will stay hidden in PvP areas like the Wilderness and Ferox Enclave.

We’ve also heard your feedback about extending this feature to other areas, like Friends Chats and Clan systems. While we can’t deliver this right away, it’s on our radar, and we’ll be looking into ways to expand it in the future!

We're here for the fun - not the points (definitely not the points). Whether we walk away with loot (remember, scuffed = stuff) or just tales of chaos, we'll have a laugh together.

Not keen to be burned alive by your entire team? No worries! You can still join in by spectating - Mod Rach will be streaming her POV so you can enjoy the carnage from the safety of your bank tab.

Requirements? Nothing but a bit of Chambers knowledge, a pulse, and a willingness to die with grace would be beneficial.

So polish your pickaxes, forget your anti-venom, and let's give Olm a show we won't forget - for better or for much, much worse!

Hi, everyone! Changes in new version are mostly about game mode UI, but there are also changes to weapon behaviour and balance:

  • Reworked overall UI for Race, Duel and King of the Hill game modes: added UI animations, changed font, replaced old icons;

  • Reworked leaderboard UI;

  • Reworked player info UI: nickname, status effect, stamina and etc. display is changed;

  • Added score display for King of the Hill leaderboard;

  • Added stopwatch display for Race UI;

  • Changed timer display format to minutes + seconds;

  • Changed crosshair to a larger one and more visible;

v0.803 is now available on the game and demo branches, just a small patch to fix a new issue with widescreens (I really need to perform more tests on those resolutions):

  • Fixed the new recruiting menu for widescreens resolutions.

Time for another demo update!

New features:

  • Quest system completely rebuilt from scratch and added to the game.

  • Mayors added to cities. For now, they’re mostly there for quests.

  • Added the ability to take prisoners after battles. Players can now also be captured.

  • Added the ability to talk to lords directly in cities.

  • Item, weapon, and armor prices have been heavily reworked.

  • Balanced rewards players get for defeating enemies.

  • Adjusted unit prices and their daily wages.

  • Changed the experience requirements for unit upgrades.

  • Added a couple of convenience buttons in the co-op lobby.

  • Translation framework prepared. Can’t say when translations will appear, but they will :)

+ a lot of small fixes and improvements

I’m also preparing the game for the Steam demo festival, so I’d be very grateful if you could play a bit now to help find bugs.

The fewer bugs there are, the better :)
