Hey folks!

We just wanted to share that we are on target with the expectation to release the game at some point tomorrow, within the next 24 hours (exact time unknown at this time). With that in mind, we have tried to squash any bugs we could find and have tested on a good number of different devices, but we are aware that the number of devices and hardware out there in the wild is way beyond what's realistic for us to test.

If you do run into any bugs or issues, please do start a discussion/thread or reach out to us on Mastodon. The game should also produce some logs for your last run, with a recycle flow of deleting old logs older than 7 days and renaming them with timestamps to make sure you have new and clean logs each time you start the game. When reporting bugs, these logs may help us troubleshoot - feel free to go through them to verify nothing you'd want to publicly show is there (although we did our best to try and keep that information out of them!).

We look forward to releasing this first game of ours. It's a basic game, but we can say that our kids really love it (and still keep going back to it), so we're hoping everyone can get the same benefits that we do from it! If the game's a major success and people enjoy it, we'll consider adding more future mini-games to it in the future (without any extra charge/DLC/etc). But that'll full depend on the community :)

Another playtest??!! Yes! and we've got some juicy new stuff!

Our third Steam playtest will be live from 16:00 CEST 28/08 until 31/08/2025! 🗓️

Notable changes:

  • A Tutorial to guide new recruits

  • Grenades are in! And if the standard boom isn’t enough, try out some explosive upgrades

  • A brand-new HUB area

  • The first taste of Skill Tree progression (limited for now, but a glimpse of what’s coming!)

Card Attack Animations

- Number cards now visually "attack" Royals before disappearing from the screen.
This small visual detail adds a bit more flair and feedback to every strike!

New Music

- Additional Clemency Music tracks have been added to various Chapter 3 stages.
More variety, more atmosphere, more immersion.

Updated UI Elements

  • The Discard Button has been moved to the left side of the player’s hand.
  • It now only appears when a card is actively selected.
  • The button has also been changed to [color=red]red[/color] for better visibility.
  • Sizes of various UI buttons have been increased to improve legibility.
  • Tooltips have been added to Menu UI elements for added clarity.

Dialogue Window Enhancements

- The dialogue box color has been updated to a darker blue tone.
- It can now be repositioned on the screen (dev-side feature for future tutorials).
- You must now click directly on the dialogue box to progress the message.
This change allows for better interaction with game elements like cards during tutorial sequences.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where X2/X3 cards could be used without a damage card selected — this also caused the next number card played to vanish incorrectly.
  • Save/Load system now keeps scores properly separated across different game modes.
  • Music volume settings are now preserved correctly between stages.
  • Fixed an issue where playing multiple X2/X3 cards caused only the first one to be destroyed, while the others remained selected — which could lead to negative score modifiers on the next play.

Hello, Dreamdivers!

Our team is back from an incredible journey over the past few months. From March to August, we had the opportunity to showcase the INTERSCAPE demo at three major events: GDC, ChinaJoy, and Gamescom! It was a privilege to share our creation on these global stages.

Most importantly, to every single one of you who visited our booths, played the demo, and shared your invaluable feedback – thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Seeing your reactions and hearing your thoughts in person is the ultimate motivation for our development. The support you showed us means the world.

Now, we are back and focused on development. We've returned more inspired than ever and can't wait to show you what's next. We’ll be back with more specific development news soon. Please look forward to it!

Throne Requiem - Evilous

The demo doesn't include this update as it's only applied to the paid version.

Added support for the following languages:

  • Japanese.

  • Spanish.

  • Portuguese.

  • Chinese.

  • Russian.

It may not be perfect, as certain things might not be inserted perfectly, but I've been trying to get this game localized in new languages for a while. It's more so a better tool for importing was released recently that prevents unexpected crashes. Now it runs without any problems with importing, along with easier management of localization versions.

Hell Clock - Mark-
Hey everyone,

We just found another issue (thanks to @Makonde for reporting it on Discord) and have acted quickly to fix it.

It is a VERY specific case but very destructive. We are restoring Makonde's save file manually, so if this happened to you as well, please contact us over at support-hellclock@roguesnail.com or Discord so we can fix your save file.

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the old "Return To Campaign" button would show up in Ascension under very specific circumstances. Clicking that button would convert your Ascension save file to Campaign permanently, basically erasing all of your Hell Level and Promises progression.

Amid the labyrinth of books and scrolls, a solitary amphora lies in wait, its purpose soon to be discovered.

And what is this? A secret amphora, hidden behind the wall, whispering of mysteries yet to be uncovered…

Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition - halldor

We've just published Patch 1.03, which brings forward an array of fixes for reported issues, as well as some smaller overall improvements.

Meanwhile, we continue working on a larger set of updates and quality of life features coming in next week. We had aimed to have HDR added to all hardware with this patch, but had to delay it to next week due to some incorrect interactions between HDR and colour-blind settings.

We will also be sharing a roadmap very soon to provide you with a good overview of the incoming updates and improvements ahead, incorporating your feedback and suggestions.

Hi!

This is a small patch, but fixes some important things:

- Fixed issue with some doors that rotate weirdly
- Fixed issue with Quadbots moving after you destroyed their turrets

It alsos changes two nice things:
- Adjusted turret textures to match other robots color
- Adjusted run behavior. You should feel that running is more responsive now.
