Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Tiktak

Välkommen till Kiruna! In today's blog, we have another glimpse of what's coming for the Nordic Horizons DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Get comfortable and enjoy this little preview of the city of Kiruna, before you head there yourself in this upcoming map expansion.

Situated 200 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle, Kiruna is actually Sweden's northernmost town! This location is unique as people living there experience two months of midnight sun in the summer, and it's also an ideal place to watch the magical northern lights from the beginning of autumn to the end of winter.

While the town is not the largest in terms of population, it has so much to offer. Not far from it, visitors can find the country's highest mountain, Kebnekaise. It's also home to the world's largest underground iron ore mine. And let's not forget about the stunning beauty of the nature surrounding Kiruna, with forests, tundra, rivers, and an uncountable number of lakes.

The iron ore mine will be featured in our game as a massive depot where players can deliver cargo, both at ground level and deep underground. The Kiruna mine will become the largest custom depot in ETS2 and also the first to be located underground. It's a truly fascinating operation, with over 130 years of history. Each day, the mine produces enough iron ore to build six Eiffel Towers. The depot is complex, so players will need to rely on a full diagram of the area and custom signs placed throughout the mine.

Mining lies at the heart of Kiruna's economy, and its impact is so significant that parts of the city are being relocated to ensure the safety of its residents. This includes the construction of a new city centre three kilometres east of the original one.

This beautiful new city centre is being recreated by our asset and map teams through detailed landmark buildings. This includes the city's new town hall, featuring the original historic clock tower that has been carefully restored and relocated from its former site, along with several other notable buildings surrounding the new town centre.

In addition, truckers will be able to deliver cargo to the local railway terminal, a construction site, a recycling depot, and various other industries located around the town.

Dear players,

We’re back with another hotfix packed with improvements, fixes, and some handy new options based on your feedback!

  • Toggleable sprint option added – You can now choose whether sprinting requires you to hold the button or just tap it to switch between walking and running. You’ll find this setting in the gameplay options.
  • Customer spawn rate is now adjustable – Some players found the saloon too busy, others thought it too quiet. You can now manually adjust the number of customers coming to your saloon in the options menu. This is a temporary solution while we work on a more advanced customer spawning system.
  • Translation fixes – We’ve corrected some localization issues in various languages.
  • Train performance optimized – You should notice smoother gameplay during train unloading sequences.
  • Minor texture optimizations – A few small tweaks were made to improve overall performance.

The past few weeks have been focused mainly on bugfixing the current version of the game and planning our roadmap for the coming months. Once the planning phase is complete, we’ll share a full development roadmap with you, so you’ll know exactly what new features to expect - and in what order.

But we can already confirm one thing: the first major update will introduce employees!

The lewdtuber update is part of the lovense push we did a while ago. With this we are making sure the next wave of content covers all sectors of the game. If you covered the event you may know whats coming...

KiraPRaptors mask is ready to go and making all racers have an extra set of spice out on the track! Wonder how it looks on a pencil...

MokyMoo ears are done just needs a bit of touchups but they will make all racers look extra floofy out on the track (maybe more wind resistant when powersliding?)

For a bit of attitude there is Taiga-tans beanie to really look like trouble. Also brings a lot more flat justice rep to the track...but dont tell Taiga I said that...

It doesnt stop there. With the next update comes a boat load of new pillows you can swing and drive around as too! Making this lewdtuber content update a real packed one. And we saw some of them get packed in a lot of places...

Hang tight as next week we are wrapping up some more of the artwork before heading back to the core of the games City Mode! I know it seems small but we are working hard every day as much as we can so thank you for sticking with us!

It’s been a few weeks since the launch of Reflex Unit : Strike Ops and I wanted to share an update on the fixes and improvements that have been rolled out since then based on your valuable feedback.

Current version 1.0.5

IMPROVEMENTS

  • Aim Assist Option (Gameplay Menu).

  • Gamepad Analog Stick can control aim distant (when Aim Assist is Off).

  • Mouse aiming improvements.

  • Aim Dots can be disabled/enabled (Video Menu).

  • Music, VO and Sound FX volume level controls are now more adjustable.

  • DirectX 11 is now available as an optional render engine in Windows with support for Exclusive Full Screen mode (which may give better performance than the default Vulkan engine).

    To enable DirectX 11, add the following to the Launch Options in Properies > General:

    -force-d3d11

FIXES

  • CO-OP Mode networking fixes for objectives across clients.

  • Various Japanese Language fixes.

  • On some systems that do not support Vulkan the game would not start (DX11 added as fallback render engine).

  • Game would sometimes unpause when inside settings menu.

  • Trucks would sometimes collide.

  • Achievements would sometimes trigger incorrectly.

It’s been some time since the last mission updated but we are happy that we can tell you more about the third part of the Black Company Special Operation series called Tiger Shark.

This mission continues the story of Joshua Seagrove and Kathryn Grey and their rise to fame as Black Company mercenaries. Upon the conclusion of the Lone Star mission, Port Houston is liberated from its occupation by Clayburn Industries.

In the aftermath of the events, Seagrove and Grey receive an offer from Suez Incorporated to save a ship hijacked by pirates and bringing it back in exchange for clearing their names of war crime accusations. Not willing to waste such an opportunity, they immediately set sail to a small island in the Indian Ocean.

As the description above suggests, the mission will take place on a tropical island controlled by ruthless pirates. These criminals are led by Louis Pareil, a ruthless French ex-special forces operator-turned-warlord so you’ll be in for quite a fight. He has quite a few aces up his sleeve.

We carefully listened to your feedback and made two major changes to the design. First, the mission is shorter than the previous two so you’ll no longer spend an hour fighting every time you launch it. Second, starting with its introduction, it’ll be newly possible to select which mission you want to play of the three in the menu.

As always there will be mission-specific achievements with new rewards, including a pirate player avatar and a brand-new camouflage for three environments.
