In this update, we’ve focused on the bugs you reported and worked on fixing the major issues that negatively affected your gameplay experience.
We’re aware that there are still a few minor bugs left — most of them don’t impact your experience significantly, but we’ll keep working to squash them one by one. Please continue reporting any issues you notice so we can make your experience as smooth as possible.

On top of bug fixes, we’re also working on improvements and new features to make the game even more enjoyable.
Your feedback about the game’s difficulty, fun factor, and anything else is incredibly valuable to us. We read and consider every single message you post in the #suggestions channel on our Discord server.

In this update, we have fulfilled the request of our esteemed player Rudolf Fischer, which he shared with us in the Steam Discussions section. We thank him for sharing it with us.
With the newly added ‘Inverted Mouse’ option, you can reverse mouse movements and control the camera the way you’re used to.

You can enable this setting from Settings > Controls.

• Furniture positions now load correctly after saving and reloading the game.

• Customer moods are now preserved correctly; happy customers will no longer become sad after saving and reloading.

• Customers in a mad state during saving now properly return to their seated positions after reloading.

• Selling tables while customers are seated is no longer possible, preventing animation and state errors.

• Order panel scrolling has been improved to prevent it from breaking when scrolled after unfocusing the panel.

• Table numbering has been corrected to prevent duplicate numbers when placement is interrupted by another player’s actions.

• Closing placement mode while holding a table no longer causes its table number to be lost.

• Wall-mountable items now align properly with walls, fixing an issue where they snapped at incorrect angles.

• Bread oven ghost mesh now displays correctly when first picked up after purchase.

• Unwrapping sandwiches that contain sauce no longer replays the sauce pouring sound effect.

We’ve reworked and rebalanced many troops to improve their clarity, impact, and fun factor. Among them, the Spirit, Lancer and Mercenary had some of the biggest changes, but we invite you to check all the changes in your next runs!

Bosses also got a slight tune-down based on your feedback, to keep things fair and engaging without taking away the challenge.

New Commander: ClericThe Cleric introduces a new way to play with Prayers. You can only use one Prayer per turn, so you’ll need to plan carefully.
This Commander also comes with two unique troops:

• Paladin : A durable frontliner that gains bonuses based on Cleric Health.

• Priest : A support unit focused on keeping allies healthy, and increasing the economy. 

Both are designed to work closely with the Cleric and the Prayer system.

Warrior and Ghoul ImprovementsWe’ve updated the Warrior and Ghoul Commanders based on your feedback.

• Warrior’s healing effect now also applies during Elite Monster battles. General’s effect has been improved to make him a stronger and more reliable frontliner.

• Ghoul's special troop, the Cultist, can now increase your max health, giving you more flexibility to roll and heal during your run.

• Added a Roll Counter to the Victory screen so you can flex (or reflect).

• Tooltips now have better formatting and legibility for both troops and spells.

• New sound effects and smoother music transitions make everything feel more polished.

Over 70 bugs squashed! Some highlights:

• No more softlocks on shop rolls, merges, events, or turn starts.

• Fixed troop duplication and bench vanishing tricks.

• Commander XP and passives (like King, Druid, Hustle) now behave correctly.

In an earlier post, we’d given you a small preview of our character creator. Now, we’d like to go a little more in-depth and show you just what we have in store in what’s an exciting first for the studio. 

Please keep in mind that the content shown here is still a WIP, so things might change or be tweaked down the line.

No—wait. Her nose is off. Back to the drawing board.  

The character creator. Where dreams manifest and strange monstrosities are created. A hell in which you spend hours trying to get your character’s nose just right. After all, there’s nothing worse than seeing your character in a cutscene and realising something is slightly off.  

For the first time ever (and, potentially, to our peril), we’ve handed you the power to freely create your very own character thanks to the team’s hard work.  

1 hour of sleep, 23 hours of trying all the different settings in the character creator.  

Unlike the original GreedFall’s presets, here, you have a myriad of choices. With the sliders, you can edit aspects such as the face shape, the chin, and, naturally, the aforementioned nose. Scroll through various hairstyles and decide on the eyebrows – you can even add a scar to your character to reflect battles won in the past. How did they earn it? Why, that’s up for you to decide.  

This is it. This is the one. 

What if character creation isn’t your style? No problem. There are many different presets for you to choose from. If you’re feeling a little more adventurous, you can even press the randomiser button and let the game spin the wheel for you. Who knows what it’ll come up with...  

Why yes. This is the 50th time I’ve tossed my favourite DnD character into a new game. 

Once you’re all set, make sure you’ve packed your bag, and get ready! You can now explore the world with the character you’ve carefully and lovingly crafted (or not). Dress them up with fashion found in far-flung regions, select a skill tree you think fits them, and jump right into their story.  

This new feature will be added in GreedFall 2's next EA update, so we hope you look forward to it. We also have plenty more to come!
