Craggenrock - Ardeimon

Hello!

This patch aims to address some common errors reported as well as adding a few QoL changes requested. These are based on feedback collected from you, and from the people who visited Craggenrock's booth during the recently-concluded PGDX.

Note: There is no public release of v1.0.2.0. It was combined with this patch.

QOL Changes
  • You can now use the increase/decrease buttons while pricing to increase/decrease the price more effectively.

  • After pricing an item on the shelf, you will immediately exit the menu upon pressing Space or Enter to save the item's price.

  • Cutscenes that require money payment now show your money available in the chat box for your convenience.

Progression
  • Adjusted Braso’s restocking schedule from:

    • once every week M day (100% chance) -> twice every M (100% chance) and Th (66% chance)

    • Braso restocking is still subject to news (i.e. he will still not restock if he is feeling unsafe even if it’s his schedule to restock).

  • You now gain some Sales XP whenever a customer checks an item on a shelf with a “reasonable price”.

    • The amount you earn is based on the item’s quality.

Additions
  • Added a new game option to start at the crafting tutorial

  • Added a system to make it easier to sell items during the early stages of the shop

  • A new binding called "Recent Menu" has been added and set to Tab as the default binding. By default, this opens to the inventory, but it will remember your last menu position.

  • Re-added Keep text beside HUD item name when holding something

  • You can now reset all settings (excluding bindings) in the Settings menu by holding Backspace

  • You can now reset all bindings in the Settings menu by holding R

  • You can now unbind a binding by right-clicking a binding while hovering over it with the cursor

    • Note: The main bindings for movement, Interact, Activate, OK and Back can only be rebound, but not unbound.

  • You can now restore a binding back to its default configuration by pressing R while hovering over it with the cursor.

Adjustments
  • The ledger is now permanently available and will no longer need unlocking.

  • Made tutorial progress immediately after crafting a bar on the anvil during crafting tutorial

  • Cheap customers will now always buy items that are cheaper than their expected price.

  • Average customers will now buy items that are “within a reasonable price range” and will no longer use their budgets.

  • Shop customers are now a bit more expressive to give a better idea on why they're not buying.

Fixes
  • Fixed delivery box showing earlier than intended

  • Fixed delivery box becoming inaccessible once the player has encountered it once before and revisited it

  • Fixed delivery slots causing duplicate items when auto-claimed via RMB

  • Fixed not being able to submit requirements to a job in a second visit to an NPC

  • Fixed issues when starting a new game after loading a savefile

  • Fixed outdated reference to pricing controls during pricing tutorial

  • Fixed wrong page numbers in level up screen

  • Fixed empty Intuition talent effect in Sales level up screen

Automobilista 2 - Renato Simioni

Greetings everyone!

We are in final preparations for the next update of Automobilista 2 as V1.6.6 is expected to be released tomorrow (July 30); this will be accompanied by two new DLCs, Endurance Pack Pt3 & Nürburgring 2025.

Let´s have a look into what´s included in each of these DLCs as well as the improvements to be expected from the update itself!

Endurance Pack Pt3

The third installment of our Endurance series adds a new batch of prototype and GT machinery to our ever-growing roaster – this time it is Aston Martin making its grand debut in AMS2, with the pack featuring no less than four formidable models from the prestigious British manufacturer.

Starting with the latest V12 sensation: the Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar has been delivering stunning sights and sounds on both sides of the Atlantic this season, although it still gaining speed in the ultra-competitive GTP / LMDh classes it has already won the hearts of racing fans all over.

There will be a splash of British Racing Green to the GT3 & GT4 classes as well with the latest Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo & Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Evo respectively.

Rolling back the clock a bit to 2020 for the amazing Aston Martin Vantage V8 joining the GTE class – still alive and awesome in AMS2!

It is not all about the Astons in Endurance Pack Pt3 however as the light & nimble Alpine A110 GT4 Evo is a fresh pretty new face and also joining the GT4 class as its 9th contender.

Finally, the Ligier JS2-R as for now the sole contender in the new Ligier European Series - watch this space as there is more to come here!

These are the six models making the Endurance Pack Pt3 in its initial release; the pack will sell for US$ 9,99 or the equivalent regional conversion; as usual the cars will have a free trial period in the first few days following their release before reverting to being exclusive to owners of the DLC, so don´t miss out on the opportunity to make they´re worth the extra bucks!

Nürburgring 2025 & Nurburgring 2020 Overhaul

AMS2 is all about providing a diverse range of motorsports experiences, and it could never really deliver without featuring the ultimate driving challenge - the infamous Green Hell.

There was of course already an initial stab at the Nürburgring back in 2020 with the release of the Nürburgring Pack featuring the modern layouts; a couple of years later the Reiza track team revisited the Eifel Mountains, this time travelling back to the 1971 to produce the most detailed historical version of the Nürburgring, complete with the legendary Sudschleife , fulfilling the original DLC.

The plan however had always been to revisit the modern track at some point and give it a top-to-bottom overhaul, as the original was produced quite early on and it was based off a fairly rough mesh to begin with; we knew we wanted to do the track proper justice in AMS2; The reform to the real track earlier this year along with the renewal of our licensing agreement presenting an opportunity for fresh scan data, this seemed like the right time to tackle the Green Hell again.

Just like the 1971 project back in 2023, the 2025 overhaul proved especially laborious given the size of the track and the sheer amount of details in and around it; once again however our track team couldn´t help but go the distance, which result hopefully you all can get a sense for in the previews here.

The project basically covers two fronts, with the 2020 layouts from the original Nürburgring Pack receiving all the main terrain 3D mesh updates as well as some of the artwork development – the 2020 track update will be free to everyone who already own the original DLC; Nürburgring 2025 featuring all the latest renovations done to the facility as well as the complete art overhaul in turn will be sold as its own standalone DLC for US$ 7.99 or the equivalent regional conversion.

Two things that won´t make this release but that are still planned for subsequent updates for the track and the game are a "joker" shortcut" to skip the out lap, and a Tourist layout option so the track can be experiecend as it is by those visiting it in real life

Check this post in our forum to learn more about the differences between the 2020 & 2025 versions of the track.

Multiplayer Revisions

We are currently in the process of performing various Multiplayer code structural improvements & corrections which hopefully will further improve reliability of MP sessions in AMS2.

Stage 1 of this overhaul will already be integrated into the next release, and they include fixes for at least one known cause of sessions getting stuck in transition, and an optimized packet transfer during either host migration and / or around the end of a MP sessions, both of which should greatly reduce chances of mass disconnections or mass lags in either scenarios.

Further development may be expected follow on this front over the next few months.

For the complete changelog for other developments in V1.6.6 check this post.

Steam Racing Fest

Automobilista 2 & all DLCS are featuring on the Steam Racing Fest with Special discounts up to 75%!

Perfect timing to complete your collection in preparation of the upcoming update & DLC releases which are soon to be released! Check it out here:

Automobilista 2 IMSA Bundle

We have just launched the IMSA Bundle on Steam, combining AMS2 base game with all DLCs featuring IMSA-related cars & tracks into a single especially discounted purchase - the best way to get into AMS2 as the ultimate IMSA experience!

The Bundle does not have to be a full standalone purchase - if you already own AMS2 and / or any of the DLCs included in this Bundle, you may just buy for the missing items and get them with the same discount of the full bundle.

That covers it for this update, we hope you all have a great time with it upon its release!
