- Added support for quests that expire. The quests received via the NPC job boards expire after 5 days. The Silvanus quest received after opening the mail from Silvanus expires after 1 day.
- Added support for letters to spawn quests via an Accept Quest button. The Silvanus mail on the first day is such a mail.

Changes since the last main branch update.

This build sets the stage for our upcoming Free Weekend (Aug 22–24). Packed with major systems overhauls, new weapons, and major balance changes.

New Weapons & Attachments
  • New SMGs: MPX and MP7

  • New launcher: M72 LAW (warning: backblast is deadly)

  • Added suppressors and lasers across most weapon types

  • New rifle variant: Mk17 Long Barrel

  • Includes new muzzle FX, audio FX, and animations

Reinforcements & Infiltration Overhaul
  • Players can now rejoin the match mid-game via helicopter-based reinforcement waves

  • Server-configurable respawn timer (default: every 3 minutes)

  • Added Little Bird helicopters for both infils and exfils

Projectile & Ballistics Rework
  • Complete reliability pass on projectiles for both players and AI

  • Added proper bullet zeroing (magnified optics supported)

  • Reworked penetration and ballistic behavior for consistency

Animation Improvements
  • Reduced slope movement penalty from 70% → 30%

  • New weapon bob when jumping/landing

  • GPS hand position fixes

  • Subtle camera tilt added while sprinting

Game Mode Changes
  • Defending AI squads added at exfil crash locations

  • AI will respond to landing zones 45 seconds after team ingress

  • All game modes now utilize helicopter-based infil/exfil points

  • Team wipe locks reinforcements, and exfil call also locks further respawns

  • Removed problematic navmesh-based wreck spawning logic

World Updates & Map Assets
  • Added explosive barrels and ammo crates to world

  • Most maps updated with new cover and objects

  • New North Woods structures: expanded with enterable houses

Hello everyone! Mark your calendars for August 4th - The Netherworld Covenant is set to release its first major update since Early Access launch! Below is a preview of the new content. The detailed update log will be shared on release day:

Since the Early Access launch, our team has received an overwhelming amount of feedback and suggestions from players worldwide. After carefully considering these inputs and reflecting deeply on the current version, we’ve decided to adjust our development roadmap to better align with everyone’s expectations.

First, regarding combat accessibility, weapons, and playstyle diversity: We will introduce a new "Class System". Players will be able to directly switch between characters with distinct appearances - each featuring completely unique attack modules, combat approaches, and stat distributions. Below are some previews of characters currently in development:

We’re targeting Update No.2 for the initial release of the Class System, with additional character classes to be added in subsequent updates.

Next is the difficulty level: Difficulty 3 is currently in development, offering players a fresh challenge. After that, we will also create a challenge mode similar to the "heat system" in Hades, using more debuff options to further increase the difficulty. Plus, the design of some hidden bosses is also currently under evaluation.

In addition, a "Boss Rush Mode" is also in the works, with the aim of enriching the content while satisfying the expectations of players who enjoy Boss Rush or prefer the ARPG aspects of the game.
