Touhou Volleyball Danmaku - Toolkitz Games
The changes for this version:

  • Game no longer soft-locks during tutorial.
  • Campaign pause menu added.
  • Altered CPU opponent slightly.
  • Shop discount now appears more frequently.
  • Suika has been nerfed.

For those suggesting changes to the CPU AI, I am taking your suggestions but please be patient. This CPU opponents require a lot of testing due to needing to accommodate all characters match ups. But by all means, continue to send feedback and suggestions.

Challenge mode will be dropping on the 8th of august!

This new mode introduces a variety of new challenges and mechanics that will keep you on your toes. We will get into more detail on release but just know that falling is no longer the only thing you have to worry about.

  • Prowler now has a driver's license

  • Added new items:

    • Machete (One-Handed bladed melee weapon)

  • Added new animations and effects to the Prowler reflective of their affliction

Changes:
  • Enemies now have a slightly reaction delay when peaking a corner with a gun

  • Updated gore impact sounds

  • A kick can no longer be started unless a valid door can be hit

  • Changed the Prowler's blood color to the correct color

Fixes
  • Fixed rook gaining nuclear punches if you held down the punch button before grabbing an enemy from the ground

  • Fixed kicking doors through walls

  • Potential fix for UI blurring on certain resolutions

  • Fixed sub-pixel blurring errors in UI layer

  • Fixed states not intended to persist across saves if the load happened before it was deleted

  • Fixed character icons now appearing on their respective buttons in the diner

When will this demo end, and when will it be available again?

We’re really sorry, but this demo will be removed on August 4th. We understand this might feel unfair to players who just discovered the game and were hoping to try it out. However, the current demo still has many issues, and taking it offline will help us focus fully on developing the next milestone.

We’re planning to bring the demo back on October 16th, during the Steam Next Fest.

Can the demo be played in multiplayer?

Multiplayer is currently in beta and still quite unstable. If you still want to give it a try, please make sure to check "Multiplayer" (not "LAN") when loading a save or launching a new game, and invite your friends via Steam Overlay.

If the connection fails, try verifying the game data or switching to a different person as the host.

Unfortunately, LAN is currently unavailable at the moment, and we apologize for the inconvenience.

Why is the demo in Chinese when I launch it?

Right now, we only support English and Chinese. If your system language is something else, the game will default to Chinese. We'll find a way to make English as the default. Right now you can switch the language by clicking the “A” button at the bottom of the main menu.

We plan to support more languages in future updates. Thank you for your patience!

How do I unlock the automatic checkout feature?

You can unlock it via the Upgrade Panel. Just press Z and switch to the Upgrade tab in the top-left corner.

How can I feed Iron Smelters automatically?

Via throwing devices like catapults.

DeltaPhysics - MacroTree
Small patch to fix some issues and annoyances, and some performance optimizations. 0.6 devlog coming soon!

Fixes
  • Fixed possible rope-related NullReference error, most notably locking the game by dying in Title screen.

Changes
  • Rope camera now uses the average velocity when attached to a dynamic object, making it more stable despite the erratic movements of 2-body systems; most applicable to Plinko area objects.
  • Plinko area balls are now heavier and not affected by wind, to help with getting to Momentum area.
  • Object "permanence" - objects pulled by the player to another area will not despawn, as long as it stays with the player. Currently only activates when attached to player's rope, still figuring out other methods of moving the object.
  • Force from explosion is now rounded from 360° to 16-direction. The jump to Launcher Upgrade is now more consistent.
MineMogul - Gvarados
The demo has just been updated to version 0.0.0.21

New Inventory:

This version includes a new Inventory system. You can press Tab to open your inventory.

(Note that the UI is just a placeholder and will likely be improved in the future)

Patch Notes:
  • Added new Inventory System

  • Added support for Super Ultrawide Monitors (Note: Some of the placeholder UI still looks a bit strange)

  • Added new "Unstuck" button in the pause menu

  • Added "Crouch" and "Sprint" to the list of controls in the settings menu (not rebindable yet)

  • Fixed bug where items in your hotbar would get rearranged when loading a save file

The demo is getting closer to being finished, so I started prototyping this Grabbing Arm Machine.

It's unlikely to come to the demo, instead, it'll likely be included in the Early Access release (or possibly an early playtest)

There's still a few things we want to finish for the demo, mainly:

  • Shop Rework

  • Better Menus & UI

  • Building System Improvements

  • New Sounds & Animations

  • Rebindable Controls / Updated Settings Menu

  • Bug Fixes

After these are complete, we'll likely transition fully to working on the Early Access version!

This update fixes the following issues:

  • You can load saves from 1.2.0 now.

The following issues are known but not fixed in this build:

  • One player reported a lighting issue in the center, where it loads in completely dark while playing a game. Reloading the game fixes the issue. If you run into this, please reach out with more information.

  • One player reported a game freeze when interacting with the EVA computer. I was not able to reproduce this issue. If you run into this, please reach out with hardware information.

  • For some reason, on some computers, the envelope in the wordmark that you see after beating the game spins too fast.

If you have any problems with this build, please report the issue on the forum. In the meantime, you can roll back to a previous build by selecting a beta branch with the version you want to play.
