While fixing one bug, I learned that another had made itself known. Luckily they are both squashed and people can go back to enjoy their island adventures.
Have a great weekend everyone
That’s right, Kaz and Capriccioso are flapping all the way to Shanghai for ChinaJoy 2025! We’ll be bringing Haphazard Angel to one of the biggest gaming expos in the world, and we’re ready to spread chaos (and maybe some love?) at the PH booth!!
If you're heading to ChinaJoy, come find us, we’ll be the ones yelling, laughing, and probably getting bonked by security because players are too loud (i hope).
Also!!! Public playtest and demo dates will be announced very, very soon so stay tuned ⚡
Also, also!! We're releasing some private shareable playtest keys, so be sure to share it with three others!
With lots of love,
Capriccioso

Hello everyone!
The development of Off Road Together is progressing at full speed, and this week, we’re excited to share a major update regarding one of the game’s core systems — the camp system.
In earlier showcases, camp areas were mainly portrayed as symbolic spots for time skipping. However, based on your feedback and our own vision for the game, we've decided to transform camps into more interactive and gameplay-enhancing elements.
With the new system, camp areas will now allow you to:
🛢️ Refill fuel and supplies,
🧽 Clean your vehicle and perform basic maintenance,
🧰 Manage equipment checks and repair tasks,
👥 Organize team roles and set up working groups.
This means camps are no longer just a place to rest — they become central hubs for resource management and strategic decision-making.
If you’d like to get a closer look at the upcoming camp mechanics, don’t miss the brand-new gameplay video we’ve released today!
Right now I’ve taken care of improving certain things and fixing some bugs.
There are now more dialogue bubbles for previously missing or secondary conversations.
In the Warm Village 3 map, the game now saves after the final dialogue with the king and queen.
The Fat Dragon map has been polished, but don’t trust the “Save 2”
I added more traps in areas where they were missing.
If the Warm Village 3 map still gives you problems even after these fixes, I recommend leaving the character in the center of the castle’s interior and waiting for all the dialogues to finish. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to enter the next area.
NEW - Clay walls (all 3 models)
INFO - Added description of eating fish nutrition mechanic.
NEW - Added more decoration items to find on islands. These items can be placed on tables and nightstands for decoration.
NEW - Added 'Knowledge Base' panel next to Grades and Map where all previously viewed tips will be located as a reference as well as a 'Resources Index' used to track all discoverable items in the game. NOTE: For existing save games, the knowledge base will start empty but populate as you pick resources up and do actions that previously showed tips.
