First of all, we would like to thank all our followers who are playing Recharge! We are carefully reviewing your feedback and reports. We are aware of the optimization issues that have been most frequently mentioned, and we are actively working on resolving them.

During the playtest, the updates we will be releasing will primarily focus on bug fixes and performance improvements, with minor patches being deployed.

Additionally, there may be changes to vehicle physics throughout the playtest. These will be intentional changes made in order to gather feedback.

Beta 0.1.3 Patch

New Features:

-Marking a target with Binoculars will now give a faction IFF.



Changes:

-Increased custom perk limit from 4 to 5.

-Made certain doors unable to be opened by NPCs.

-Removed 'Crafting' perk from custom perk options. This perk is easy to obtain with a common item and not worth a slot.

-Buffed bolt throw distance.

-Improved warnings for entering faction bases while disguised or distrusted.

-Gave basic pump shotgun iron sights.

-Increased NFTA reinforcements at end of the Refinery Raid.

-Improved a reward at end of Dead Bridge Raid.

-Increased ammo capacity of under-barrel shotgun from 3 shells to 4.

-The K key will no longer show FPS on screen. This function has been moved to the cheat menu.

-Burner traps anomalies will now do a Line-of-Sight trace before triggering.

-Changed pump room door in Perdition to be blocked by wood boards rather than locked by a switch.

-Changed Crash site difficulty to better scale with reward and pacing.

-Added more loot to Refinery.

-Added more consequences for destroying Refinery Core.

-Changed Binoculars min and mid zoom levels.

-NPCs who lack night vision should be less capable of tracking targets in poor visibility conditions.

-The game will now save your weapon's lowered state.

-Hand-held flashlights will now always point where the player is looking, even while sprinting, swimming or climbing ladders.

-Enemy respawn times have been slowed down in Cistern and RG East.

-Made logo intro video quieter.




Bug Fixes:

-Fixed a major bug where NPCs would aim at their target directly, even when their location was not known. They will now aim at and investigate the last known location as they are meant to.

-Sort button on inventories no-longer shows when Auto-sort is enabled.

-Fixed nav mesh issue in the Swamp Map.

-Fixed bug that let you steal equipment and weapons from barters.

-Addressed possible cause of an occasional performance issue, investigation still in progress.

-Removed a problematic anomaly from Cistern spawn pool.

-Fixed some typos.

-Fixed helicopter gun sound effect.

-Made it harder to steal gold through bank vault bars.

-Fixed the reflex sight on the tac SMG.

-Changed damage model for explosive fuel drums so that they no longer explode by being lightly pushed or shoved.

Fixed a bug where some GPUs would render the world as a big ball of mess, it now is contained within reality again.
Vietnam War - thoriumgamelab
* Player can now give most main and secondary weapons to his squad members (while having the weapon in your hands, look at the soldier and press “u”. Changes to squad loadout won’t be saved after exiting the game).

* Weapon crates now offer the possibility to provide weapons to your squad members (press “u” once per squad member you want to equip).

* Structures built by the player can now be destroyed using the entrench tool (and 90% of the supplies are returned to the player and squad members near).

* Map Icon now shows the distance to your mission target.

* The amount of squad reinforcements bases get over time is now reduced, and a bit less random (as this will improve performance, especially after game has been running a while).

* Fix added for issues with the interior camera FOV on M48A3 and M113.

* Letter Icon (legacy stuff) on Radio UI now removed (this time for real, sorry).

* More gravity on dogs and snakes.

For June's patch, a lot of focus has been put on improving the in-game rune manager as well as just doing various polish and consistency passes for things. A small balance update is also now live. Finally, this month brings the first improvements to the bot game server. The plan is for improvements to continually be made there in order to fix various bugs and weird behavior and hopefully improve how the bot plays in order to make it more fun and challenging to play against. That work will be ongoing.

Client

Rune Manager / Deck Manager
  • Fixed an issue where unowned runes in the rune manager would not show their correct rune cost but instead would show a random value from some other rune.

    • NOTE: The value currently shown is the nora cost without any upgrade abilities, so it too is incorrect. This will be fixed by a future api update or client update.

  • Hid rune level display on spells and relics.

  • Fixed an issue in which relics would not show their correct DEF value. As part of this fix, all relics will display "0" when they have zero DEF instead of displaying "--".

  • Fixed an issue in which the display of the champion animation on the Rune Info display was not using the correct shader and would appear very pixelated due to nonlinear scaling.

  • Updates fonts and sizes for rune art so that they are more consistent across all places that runes are shown.

Store
  • Fixed an issue in which all runes appeared with the foil effect when opening packs.

Graphics & Sounds
  • Added new sounds for the abilities Grand Entrance and Dispel.

  • Fixed an issue in which the foil version of Cyclonic Fesh would not play its unique sound when attacking.

  • Added over 300 (!) more pieces of high-resolution artwork for runes.

Bots

Skirmish Matches
  • Changed the bot logic so that it will not try to deploy over chasms.

  • Changed the bot logic so that it will not try to deploy a champion with Titan if there are not 3 or more friendly champions in play.

  • Changed the bot logic so that it will not try to deploy the champion Collection of Souls if there is not an enemy champion in play.

🛠️ Attention, players!

We’ve identified a bug when loading a save, where some elements may appear black on the screen.

🔧 We're working on a permanent fix, but in the meantime, there’s a simple temporary solution:

✅ Open the in-game phone, go to Graphics Settings, switch the quality level (e.g., from High to Medium) and then switch it back.
That should instantly fix the issue!

Apologies, the in-game patch notes do not reflect these changes:

  • Minimap element is now draggable

  • Quest log is now draggable

  • Some items added to destroy protections should not have been - removed those. Please let me know if you find more that you're constantly farming and getting stuck with. The destroy protections should only apply to items you cannot replace.

  • Local chat window can now be exited with the escape key
