Hello runners! I’m thrilled to present you with a new Haste update - this time we’re bringing you ONLINE MULTIPLAYER CO-OP! 

That’s right! For a while now, the devs have said that multiplayer would be unlikely, but in secret, they’ve spent the last couple of months after release making it possible! (You have no idea how hard it’s been to keep this from you all!) ((Some of you would also say we’ve done a terrible job keeping it secret.))

You can now play through the entire game with other Zoes! It's cooperative in that you work together to progress, but we also keep track of player times in levels, which allows for some friendly and pleasant competition.

You can join friends through Steam's invite system or by using specific join links if you set your room privacy to public. There's no separate mode or anything, you just jump smoothly straight into their game at any point, with every shard and every part of the game playable together! Multiplayer has been designed for up to 4 players. No one will stop you from playing with a whole swarm, but you might need a fast computer and fast internet!

The team has also added skins for Zoe, so it will now be possible to change her outfit and her hat! Skins can be bought with Antisparks from the Fashionable Weeboh, and can be shown off in multiplayer. (I’m thinking of asking for a makeover myself!) There are also special skins that can be unlocked by doing special actions, such as completing the story mode or the first level of Disaster Mode.

Other changes:

  • Some obstacles have had their art updated, making the Agency more intimidating (and visually and technically consistent).

  • We've added a chunk of new character interactions, revealing more of their backgrounds and keeping rest stops and coffee breaks fresher for longer! This means you can get to know me and the crew even better!

Fixes:

  • Added Disaster Mode localisation for Swedish.

  • Once again increased the chance of getting Coffee Interactions in the research outpost. Hopefully it sticks this time!

  • Hitting the pillars of one of the big Agency Platform obstacles no longer turns the main platform into an intangible death trap.

  • Flat Item stat bonuses no longer scale with your metaprogression level for that stat.

  • Added a missing homage to Flopsy the Lovable Clown

Sapphire Safari - Henley

Hello photographers! Starting today, we will be opening up our Beta program to anyone brave enough to dive into new (but buggy) content for Sapphire Safari. The goal with this program is to show constant progress that you all can actively participate in to continue to give as much transparency on our development as possible. There are a few things we will need to address.

If you participate in the Beta program, you will experience bugs, issues, missing features, incomplete assets, and unoptimized content. But also the new stuff as well! New creatures, new systems, all the good fun stuff. This also means that we have a new save file system, so you cannot corrupt your old saves. There is also a very good chance that future patches to the Beta will wipe your Beta saves. So do not get too attached, okay?

The big thing we added is the new Species called the Lustra! She is a curvy Otter found in the water systems on Sapphire Island!

+ Icebergs now have ice slabs at water level, destroying them no longer removes the water;

+ Added recipes for colored beds;

~ You can now close the inventory by pressing TAB again;

~ Windows that are opened by pressing the "E" action key now can be closed with the same key (this key is remappable);

~ Items dropped by other players can be picked up with an opened inventory window. Items that are dropped by you can be picked up only after a short delay, after closing inventory window;

~ Mobs now break ENERGY_CRYSTALS just like players do if they step on them;

~ A sound is now played and destruction particles appear when ENERGY_CRYSTALS are destroyed if stepped on (by both player and mobs);

~ Mobs now take damage from dangerous blocks such as BARBED_WIRE or ENERGY_CRYSTALS;

~ Hollow and Endoskeleton now forcibly burrow when energy reaches zero;

~ Hollow and Endoskeleton no longer run in place when hit during sleep without valid target (creative mode, not visible player, turret...);

~ Being hit during sleep restores some energy for Hollow/Endoskeleton to prevent immediate re-burrowing;

New day 9 encounter: Potion Market.

The potion market is a unique encounter that doesn't feature 2 different choices, instead you will enter a shop with only potions where you can reroll as normal.

After the potion shop you will enter the regular shop.

Balance:

🟢Crescentshot (Rare): 10 damage --> 8 damage | 2 multicast --> 3 multicast | 3.5s cooldown --> 3.4s cooldown.

🟢Lunar Codex (Rare): 3.4s cooldown --> 3.3s cooldown.

🟢Tome of Blades (Rare): 2.5s cooldown --> 2.4s cooldown | If you have at least 4 daggers, gain +4 bonus multicast --> at least 3 daggers.

Fixes:

🔸Some mistakes in the item library screen has been fixed.

🔸Crystal Flare had no business being crystal. It is now called Flare and is only Artifact/Flame.

🔸The "Inventory" text in the bottom no longer stays on top of the infoboxes of potions.

🔸The "Potion Shop" lucky reroll from Carmen didn't give any of the new potions.
