Hey guys,
The portals of Dachs Hunter open on June 17th, and we’re excited to welcome you into battle. The game will officially launch into Early Access at (6 PM GMT-3 / 2 PM PDT / 11 PM CEST)!
At launch, Dachs Hunter will be available for $4.99 and will also feature a 10% launch discount for 14 days!
In the early access version you will be able to play with new characters totaling six elements (fire, water, ice, electric, earth and poison).

Changed the maximum level of spells from level 4 to 9.
Increased the amount of dachs minion spawns from 2 to 4.
Reduced the opacity of AOE spell indicators.
Offensive, defensive, and utility upgrades are now offered together upon leveling up.
Upgrades that appeared when leveling up to 10, 20, 30... are now called arcane traits and are collected by defeating elites and mini bosses.
The demo will be available for an additional 14 days after the early access launch.

Welcome to our first weekly Sails update! Thank you for all the initial support since launching our Wishlist page. We genuinely appreciate it and hope you will enjoy the ride as we continue to develop this game. This weeks topics include Skull Island, Server code updates, Main Menu changes and other small adjustments.

Our 3D modeler and worldbuilder has been hard at work creating Skull Island. This island is located far from the rest of the world and isolated. Here players will encounter a medium sized island shrouded in smoke from the island's volcano. This entire island is a loot-zone(area in which players can find gear, recipes and resources) which means players will encounter rare enemies and unique loot. There is abandoned towns and also an ominous lighthouse shackled to the island.
Our server architect has been working tirelessly on implementing the kinematic player controller to the server. This requires us to create our own custom physics system to allow large worlds with shifting origins. When we started coding Sails we decided to write our own server software which has been no easy task. This makes development times take longer but improves performance and more potential customization down the road.

Our level designer has completely overhauled the main menu. Changed the environment and color grading of the world. The main menu will have a camera that flies around the island similar to early 2000s Xbox games. Let us know what you think of it.

There's a game breaking bug with one of the obstacles in the Putt Down demo, namely the arm windmill. This obstacle has bad collision box which makes is it almost most impossible to pass.
There's a fix ready to be pushed, but steam is currently having issues with their authentication service.
I will upload a patch once the issue is resolved.

Ball base score buttons have been added to the rack selection screen
During rack selection, the chosen ball will now follow your mouse
The ball info menu now shows on hover instead of on press.
A full rework of the ball info menu has begun, so please look forward to that in a future update.

Taito will be showing Operation Night Strikers and Night Strikers Gear during a live stream at Shooter Fes 2025, an online event focused on shooting games and organised by City Connection and Game Centre Mikado. The event runs over two days; June 14th and 15th with livestreams starting at 12:00 on each day.
The team from Taito will be on stream from 18:00 on Saturday 14th, with producer Yuichi Toyama and Zuntata’s Katsuhisa Ishikawa being joined by guests Naoki Horii and Hibana Yokeru from developers M2. Learn all about the game play and sounds of Operation Night Strikers Night Strikers Gear while seeing the games in action and listening to the music.
The stream will run on Mikado’s YouTube channel and can be viewed live at Red Bull Gaming Sphere Tokyo.
