Saving a biome and uncovering its secrets isn’t an easy task — but in Gaucho and the Grassland, every mission gets you one step closer. To make your journey clearer, here’s what each icon in the game means:
🔸 New Mission: Look for the yellow question mark icon. It means a new challenge awaits you!
🔸 Ongoing Mission: The gray exclamation mark shows that you’ve already accepted that task, but there’s still work to be done.
🔸 Mission Ready to Complete or Continue: The yellow exclamation mark means it’s time to talk to the related character and move forward.
In addition, several icons help you identify NPCs and useful functions in your daily life as a guardian of the grasslands:
🐕Dog: Take on treasure hunt missions with a special reward — new styles and skins for your loyal canine companion!
🐎Horse: Look for the horseshoe icon on the map to find horseback racing challenges and unlock unique new looks for your trusty steed.
🔧Architect: Essential for upgrading your farm and expanding your possibilities.
🔄Trade: Merchants ready to barter important items for your journey.
And keep an eye out for the flag icon — this special marker represents main story missions, the ones that drive the narrative forward and reveal key discoveries about the game’s world.

Match 1: ZT VS BOD [Reginopolis / Harbour City] 3-0
Round 1 (ZT Defense - BOD Attack, Reginopolis)
ZT gives up outer positions right from the start, meeting BOD head-on at Gate C for the opening clash. With sharp unit composition and split tactics, ZT fends off BOD’s first assault. A miscalculated trebuchet strike from BOD hurts their own units, and their damaged second wave at Point C gets isolated and crushed by ZT. With all their forces spent, BOD can’t recover—ZT takes the opener!
Round 2 (BOD Defense - ZT Attack, Reginopolis)
BOD sets up a solid defense at Point C, but ZT takes some artillery fire and shrugs it off. Gathering their forces at the central gate, ZT launches a quick and furious assault on C. Their cavalry swings in from behind, smashing BOD’s ranged units and punching holes in the defense. With C in hand and their unit-count advantage established, ZT ramps up the pressure. Another clash erupts at the broken wall—ZT storms through, blocks BOD’s backup on the stairs to Base, and secures another swift win.
Round 3 (BOD Defense - ZT Attack, Harbour City)
BOD rolls out with an all-cavalry lineup, picking off isolated ZT units early with hit-and-run tactics. But dragging the fight out costs them dearly. At the main gate, BOD can’t regroup effectively, and ZT picks them apart one by one. With no defenders left in the Base, ZT sweeps in for the finish. ZT closes it out 3-0—a flawless advance to the next stage!
Match 2: PAE VS TWT [Heilung Fjord / Wall Fort] 3-1
Round 1 (PAE Attack - TWT Defense, Heilung Fjord)
PAE charges in with a full-on assault at A, putting Siphonarioi at the core for heavy damage, backed by Schutzdieners for support. They brawl in the tunnel, cavalry stirring up chaos, and after wiping out the defenders, PAE secures a unit advantage. Spotting TWT regrouping at the C resupply point, PAE launches a surprise strike on the main base, flips the tables, and locks down reinforcements with their trebuchet, quickly wrapping up the first win.
Round 2 (TWT Attack - PAE Defense, Heilung Fjord)
TWT rushes straight for B, but gets bottlenecked in the corridor where PAE and Siphonarioi’s fire stop their push cold, earning a solid unit-count lead. TWT swaps to A and makes progress, but can’t hold out as PAE keeps pouring in reinforcements. TWT's last-ditch rush grabs the front yard at A, but PAE breaks through with a fierce counter, cleaning up weakened units and taking another round.
Round 3 (TWT Attack - PAE Defense, Wall Fort)
PAE’s slow breach at broken bridge gives TWT time to swing through the walled keep and threaten B. PAE holds back just enough at the broken wall to chip away at TWT’s frontline, taking out several units in the rubble. TWT’s mobile teams swoop in to capture C, then battle it out in the Base. Even with a unit advantage, PAE can’t hold—TWT’s precise dueling chops whittle down the heroes and snatch a point back.
Round 4 (PAE Attack - TWT Defense, Wall Fort)
PAE pulls TWT into multiple skirmishes out front at C, then rallies for a full-force Brace units to shatter the defense and seize the point. The tug-of-war moves to the Base flag; after PAE seizes the supply, they barrel straight for the finale. Perfect unit counterplay and an iron teamwork push lets PAE storm the Base, sealing up the 3-1 series win!
Playtest 2 is BACK but only until 30th June, and now via request access only.
With a few Steam events happening this month and new folks discovering 13Z for the first time, we figured… why not open the gates one more time?

Our new digitally exclusive Exploration Mode lets you unlock new ships, abilities, tiles, and cosmetics by completing missions.
Don’t worry: the board game mode is still there and fully accessible. Exploration Mode is just a new way to play!
Check out all unlockable content and cosmetics in the new Treasury menu! You can preview unlocked items and see how to unlock the rest. Most of them unlock naturally just by playing—no backflips required.
You asked for it, we delivered: The game now does an autosave at the beginning of every turn, and you have three save slots available per game mode.

Preordering the Season Battle Pass grants extra rewards including Treatise, Nobility XP, and more. You'll also unlock all [Victory Pass] content and get early access to the new 3-star Season Unit — empowering your journey in the new season! Event Time: June 5th (After maintenance) - June 19th (Before maintenance)
2. Preorder the new Season Battle Pass and unlock the [Victory Pass]—Receive the New Season Unit!
Details: Preorder [Dynasty Awakening] Season Battle Pass and complete [Victory Pass] challenges to receive 2 Challenge Tokens for the 3-star Season Unit. After the new season begins on June 19, you can directly unlock and obtain the new 3-star Season Unit. Introduction: Warlords can participate in the [Victory Pass] event via [O] – [Activities]. During the event, some [Victory Pass] rewards can be unlocked for free. If you preorder the new Season Battle Pass, you can unlock all [Victory Pass] rewards. During the event, completing [Victory Quests] will get XP to level up your [Victory Pass] — the higher the level, the better the rewards. 3. Limited-Time Return of the Onslaught Mode! — New Leaderboard and Gameplay Updates!
Introduction: Access: Participate in the mode directly through [J] - [Onslaught]. You can also switch between "Challenge Mode" and "Endless Mode" there. Details: [Onslaught] is available for a limited time. [Hwarang], [Tiger Fists], and [Silla Guards] are joining the battlefield. New [Tactics] are introduced, [Trait] effects fully updated, and several new battle scenarios have been added for a more challenging experience. Gameplay Introduction: Battle Rules: (1) Bring a unit that can be operated by heroes to participate in the battle. (2) The battle is divided into multiple rounds, each round consisting of a [Deployment Phase] and a [Battle Phase]. (3) At the start of the [Deployment Phase], all units and hero's statuses are reset (fully restored), and a certain amount of leadership are provided as funds. During the [Deployment Phase], players can consume leadership to deploy or upgrade units. The [Battle Phase] begins once deployment is complete. (4) During the [Battle Phase], if one side's units are entirely defeated, that round ends and the next round's [Deployment Phase] begins. Victory Conditions: Both sides have a certain amount of [Morale]. At the end of each round, the losing side will have their [Morale] deducted. If the enemy's [Morale] reach zero, the player wins the game. Conversely, if the player's [Morale] reaches zero, the game is lost. Talent System: Complete an Onslaught battle to earn [Talent Points]. Spend [Talent Points] to unlock new abilities that aid in completing the game. Trait System: Units deployed during the [Deployment Phase] carry several [Traits]. When enough units with the same [Trait] are on the field, the [Trait] effect is triggered. Tactics System: Unlock tactics in the talent system. After unlocking tactics, there will be an opportunity to choose a tactic at the start of specific rounds' deployment phases. Tactics have powerful effects that can enhance your overall strength. Economy System: There is a maximum limit on the number of units that can be deployed on our side, which increases with the number of rounds. Rewards Preview: Earn [Onslaught Points] after each round of Onslaught based on your result and rounds reached. Accumulate [Onslaught Points] to receive milestone rewards, including Pure Wisdom, Treatise, Epic Hero Schematic Crate, and other valuable items. Leaderboard Introduction: How to Participate: Compete for the highest score in [Endless Mode]; your highest single score will automatically enter the leaderboard. Leaderboard Rules: Scores in [Endless Mode] of Onslaught count toward the leaderboard. In [Endless Mode], scores are calculated each round based on unit losses for both sides. The highest score you achieve will be used for leaderboard ranking (for equal scores, the player who reached it first ranks higher). Leaderboard Rewards: When the event ends, leaderboard players will receive valuable rewards based on rank, including exclusive Title, Frame, Epic Hero Schematic Crate, Treatise, and more. Event Time: [Challenge Mode] and [Endless Mode] will be open all day after maintenance on June 5 and will close before maintenance on June 19. After maintenance on June 19, the event page remains open until maintenance on June 26 for you to claim rewards with the points earned.

Event Details: The new season and new server reservation will soon open in an official website reservation format. Warlords who successfully reserve and create a character on the new server before 00:00 on June 26 will receive generous rewards via mail after the maintenance on June 26. Exclusive permanent hero attire "Diadochi Attire" and permanent epic title are included! Event Time: Reservation Period: June 6, 12:00 – June 19, 00:00(UTC+8). New Server Reservation Character Creation Open Until: June 26, 00:00(UTC+8).
II. System Adjustments and Optimizations
1. Season Server Transfer System
New Season Server Transfer Reservation: After maintenance, reservation for Season server transfer will be available. After successfully applying for server transfer, you can log in directly to the target server after new Season Maintenance. Server transfer applications will remain open until the new Season Maintenance. For detailed server transfer information, please refer to subsequent transfer notices. Server Merge Notice: After new Season maintenance, some servers ([Lionforge Fjord] and [Lakonía]), ([Aurora Ridge] and [Hades Gate]), will be merged. Detailed information on server merges will be provided in upcoming merge announcements.
III. Other Bug Fixes and Optimizations
Fixed an issue where the [Ironcap Archers]'s Skill [Arrow Rain] may not display after interacting with supply points. Fixed an issue where the attack range of [Symmachean Stalwarts]'s [Brace] was abnormal. Fixed an issue where the damage reduction description of [Symmachean Stalwarts]'s [Brace] was incorrect. The correct damage reduction is 30%. Optimized the detailed description of Banner Guards' [Plant the Banner]: After using the skill, the unit will plant a banner in place for 15s. While the banner is present, all allied units within range gain 50% defense against all damage types. The banner can be picked up by the Hero controlling this unit; when picked up, weapon skills will be replaced with the exclusive banner skill set. Fixed a pathfinding issue in the [Harbour City] Siege Battle map that caused units to overlap. Fixed an abnormal floating pathfinding issue in the [Sun City] Siege Battle map. Fixed an issue where the in-game language setting did not function correctly in certain cases. After the update, if the language option has not been changed in-game, the game will use the launcher's language setting. If the language has been changed in-game, the display language will follow the in-game setting. Fixed an issue in the All or Nothing map where the icon state was not correctly displayed for Units with Mastery. Optimized the Season-Exclusive Doctrines expiration notice. After expiry, you will receive a reminder via in-game mail.
