🎮 Controller Support – Bandaid #1
• Improved controller navigation in the start screen, options, and unlocks menus • Next step will be improving the character selection menu • Planned: a clear selection indicator to make it super obvious what character is selected now and what comes next • The goal is to make the whole flow intuitive and clearly readable
Map: The Map Scene is accessible through the Bestiary or by pressing M in the keyboard or d-pad Up in the gamepad. May need to retrace your steps to unlock a map you already visited.
Sever Bond: Lets you release Beasts with less than 30% trust. May leave a mysterious orb behind as you sever that connection.
Music:
New soundtracks in the game! Yoshi_UMR will be composing the music moving forward.
UI:
Added keys to access menus faster, tooltips for the keys are visible when paused in the overworld.
Key Tooltips (except for field skills which are always enabled for clarity) can now be disabled in the general tab of the options menu. They are baseline enabled.
Fixes:
Fixed a bug with the egg hatch cutscene.
Fixed a bug related to active field skills when reordering beasts in the pause menu.
Fix: Incorrect transpositions of words of heroes' lines.
Fix: Too small text for rewards in the distance.
Combat
Fix: Battles that didn't start!
Fix: Goliath was able to apply the “ Unbreakable Wall” effect on himself.
Fix: The following skills did not accumulate: Firebrand, Executioner, Hacker (Libritor), Not So Fast, Kill Shots, Sniping, Preparing for the Olympics.
Fix: The “Wait” button was active during an attack animation, and was abusable.
Fix: The damage text did not match the actual damage when the armor was less than the damage dealt.
Fix: Crystalloid “Custodia” did not lose its hatch after death.
Fix: The skill “Ammo Reserve” reset its cooldown.
Fix: Libritor could accumulate “Droning” effect.
Fix: Scutigeromorpha's “Gluttony” skill removed all positive effects from the target on a miss.
Fix: When fighting Vermutoidus and Sonicus, if a skill that does not end the turn was used to finish it off, the fight did not end.
Fix: The effect “Combat Readiness” increased initiative only 1 time when applied.
Ui
Edit: Expanded the effect name panel in the tooltip to two lines.
Balance
Flamethrower weapons now have a bonus to burn.
Bleed bonus effect has been removed from the combat drone.
Rebalanced Implants. Added bonuses to positive effects such as: “Panacea”, ‘Bionanobots’, ‘Technanobots’. Added bonuses to negative effects such as: “Burning”, ‘Bleeding’, ‘Shock’, ‘Burn’, and ‘Acid’.
Increased bonus amount on - damage against targets in control.
