Hi, everyone. Welcome to another week's exciting developer's diary!

First, I have some great news for everyone.
All the Gen-1 Draconians are now in the game!

And the most special, the elemental-neutral Bumpoulos

Long ago, before the refugees from Bora reached the Nise Islands, even before the time the local Doloweyans grew into a tribe, five Draconian brothers had led their tribes, stood on Jiru Island guarding its secrets. Rumors have it that even to this day, they are still performing the Great Plan left to them by the Creator God.
Yet, times have changed, and they saw humans slowly take over the island. They decided to avoid confrontation, retreating to guard only the most sacred locations. As our journey on Jiru Island goes further, you are more and more likely to confront them. As eras have passed, the descendants of the five brothers may no longer possess their ancient wisdom. But they are still formidable in combat. Should you have strong binding spells, you may turn them into your services.
They are all cultural symbols and the legacy of the ancient Stone Age.
Once again, I am paying my respect to our lineage and the good old days of gaming.

Stars lose their brightness,
Idols fall,
Websites and forums shut down,
NEOLITHIA is forever.
The 21st anniversary is almost upon us!

You know what I am working on for the 21st anniversary, the next DLC.
It may not arrive on time, as there is a very busy month ahead.
But, here is another teaser:

So, I added the conversation system. It cannot be a good RPG otherwise.
To be fair, modern technology has made everything possible. We have cameras, voice-overs, lip sync, and much more. It would be a sin not to have all of them.
That's why it may be delayed. A lot of effort is required, but I think it's worth it.
It's not like the main game.
The NEOLITHIC main game was my code practice. It is 99% original code, all written by me.
It was the first game to have a DLC system in China.
It was the highest honor ECNU could grant me.
It was the glorious 1,000,000 downloads in 2007.
It was one of the founding indie games of both DIYRPG and 66RPG.
It was something ancient, but still around to this day.
It was all those technical papers I published about modding and AIs.
Thus, graphics can be lacking, assets can be inconsistent, and details can be missing.
On the other hand, the next DLC has the purpose of the future.
It is backed by my financial success in addition to my technical prowess.

Guess what?
I have Donald Trump to thank for this.
Each crisis, each trade war, is a good opportunity to buy stocks that people throw away.
And, you know what? Good companies survive every single crisis and thrive afterwards, just like NEOLITHIA. As Nietzsche says, what cannot kill you makes you stronger.
I only pick very few elite companies to own their stocks because I want the best. Just as I mentioned a few weeks ago. Now you see my success in my strategy. You may call me an elitist, and that's why I can gain more than 24% profit than the CSI300.
That is still not the full might of NEOLITHIA.
Only a few million are in the market to do the combat; there are a few million more on standby, because I have told you, Trump is unpredictable. I always have backups idling on daily R001, which can quickly liquidate and cash in, in times of need.

Money is merely the reward to me for far too long I have worked for other people's dreams, locked in 9 to 5 or even some 996 battles before, just like many of you are currently doing. You can find my credits in many other well-known games. But that's not the way of life.

Why?
Because the dreams of others may betray you one day.
If you have been in this industry long enough, you know a woke culture is slowly trying to usurp the power we once held. From Ubisoft to Sony, the virus is infectious. They are ruining everything we once built. All those great IPs. All those beautiful childhood memories. All those lovely ladies and manly men. We, developers in Asia, were also once deceived. We thought that was the Western culture. That was the difference between us. (Yes, I am talking about Capcom's censorship.)

But, no.
The truth is, we are the same.
WE ALL LOVE BOOBS! :)
I hope our Korean friend's Stellar Blade will be a great success. Their demo is just out on Steam.

In China, we know no woke.
Because the government and the police force protect everyone from such evil every day.
Yes, this sounds very uncharacteristic, as I am someone who always voices my disagreement with the government on a lot of matters. But this is something I think I shall appreciate.
China is not a dystopia that many think it is. Sure, we may not have direct access to many websites. Sure, all online platforms are censored. Sure, there are cameras everywhere on the streets. Sure, there is a social credit system. But, we have no Woke!
People have the freedom to say man and woman, male and female.
People have the freedom to say they don't like something if they don't like it. (As long as that thing is not a government business :P)
If you don't even have the freedom like this, you can imagine what kind of society the Woke culture has turned yours into.
As a lawyer, I have friends in the police force of China. He tried this game and was not happy that I always picture the police as bad guys. Well, it's time to change a little. At least to appreciate their efforts on this matter.

Those "Force Suicide" missions no longer cause any Karma penalties.
A new variation of crime: spreading woke ideology has been added to the list.
(LGBT is no longer a crime in China since 1997. But spreading woke ideology still can be. Trust me, our highly professional prosecutors can find all kinds of law code to ensure such an action is judged guilty.)
We do not suffer the chaos caused by the likes of ANTIFA in China. Our tradition and culture are not tainted by the woke. All thanks to our law enforcers. They took quick action on RedNote just months ago and purged all woke content from a foreign invasion.
Additional improvements to the police force in Liu have also been made; you can now teleport to the PSB after visiting there for the first time after this update, and no criminals can use Butterfly Wings to escape from the city. The life quality of those who work with the local police has improved.

Another update is once again in the Final Valor Cave.
It's once again about the fate of the remnants of the Dark Alliance.
They are designated villains of the Federation. And villains usually do not get good endings in more childish fantasy.
But here is the thing: the game is for more mature players. We all know the world is not black and white.
Do the Thousand Sons in Warhammer 40K not deserve a happier life than all turn into mindless husks of their former selves? No, some of them retained their minds and bodies. They were "rescued" by the Chaos God of Just as Planned from this hateful world that arguably wronged them. That's a better story. And that's the story it shall be.

Now imagine this in our universe, a group of scholars, magic users, and summoners are cornered in a gas-filled cave. Their enemies, who are supposed to be the "good guys," want their total annihilation. Their only chance is to make a pact with Beelzebub.

Wouldn't turning them all into mindless zombies be way too unfair?
After all, as Machiavelli says, we can all be villains in some other people's story.
As such, I will give those so-called villains a happier ending.

Now tell me, who possesses more valor here?
Those "good" soldiers who use poison gas to commit genocide against a group of people just because those people are different and dangerous. (Also, kill all their fellow soldiers in the cave during the process.) Or, the "evil" villains chose to turn themselves into plague zombies to enact their revenge to bring this hateful world down with them after they see their families rescued by the demon lord?

Not long ago, I saw someone different, with unique talent. They may see things that others cannot—a gift few have. With some training, they may even materialize their dreams because they can dream them to begin with. Yet, the "normal" people cannot understand them. They push them away. Such a thing may be happening over and over, again and again, every day. What a waste to the talented.
I am not Professor X. I am just someone who sometimes gives some game-related lectures to a nearby university when I am not busy being a lawyer, stock market investor, Ukraine supporter, and game developer. I cannot save everyone. But I can rewrite this story from its original direction to be something better.

Some other things I have done this week are that I pinned down a bug in UE5's EMS plug-in.
If you use UE5, you probably know this plugin. But, it's bugged. I can have several workarounds to bypass the bug. But that's not the NEOLITHIA's way. Our kingdom will last forever. I will not let a single flaw in its technical foundation be ignored. I want it fixed. So, I spent quite some time pinning it down and worked with the plugin's developer to find solutions. Many may benefit from this fix once it's out. But I do not expect any thanks. I do this for NEOLITHIA.

As such, we shall conclude this already quite long diary.
It's all about NEOLITHIA.
If you have a unique talent and people want to hold you back to make you "normal." Don't allow them! You shall build your own kingdom just as I do. You shall not shackle yourselves in an endless 9-to-5 job, working for others. You shall unleash everything you have to bind the reality to your will. It's for your sake, and for humanity. Those with such talent, those who have no hesitation in using them, are the ones who move our history forward.
We live in a world that is fortunate enough to have Donald Trump, even though I may not agree with him on many matters.
We live in a world that is fortunate enough to have Elon Musk, even though I question his gaming skills.
I can also respect Bernie Sanders because he is also tirelessly trying to achieve things that he believes in, even though I have a conflict of interest with him. His steel chair is still a memento in the game. (In case you ask, I absolutely dislike AOC.)
I am glad they are out there to change the world. I am glad someone wrote them in this story.
Now, I hope you will become another important character in your story if you are talented.
Don't mind the losers who hate you and want to hold you back.
All three people I mentioned above have legions of haters.
The higher we soar, the smaller we appear to those who cannot fly.
